Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

It's getting really busy now!

I did another CB digi yesterday (with FMU) and got 1-2 weeks when I was 4+5. I was temping etc. so I'm pretty sure about my dates. The Internet cheapies are still really faint and haven't got any darker at all. Don't have a good feeling about it. Sad

MoonlightMojitos · 03/10/2016 20:49

Welcome new posters! Getting busy now!

I've had a dodgy belly last 2 days with really bad cramps but they feel just like period cramps it's really weird. Whenever I've had a stomach bug or anything before the cramps have been up higher like bottom of ribs but these are right where period cramps are. I was really panicking but I'm starting to calm down now though that it isn't anything going wrong as I do seem to go to the toilet or have lots of wind after them Blush. I caved and called the midwives today, am picking the pack up tomorrow morning and then have my booking appointment on 31st which is ages away! Have to take all the forms etc from the pack with me filled in then and wee sample.

going I've had the horrible taste in my mouth last week but seems to be gone again now thankfully. Cramps/twinges. And my boobs feel harder than usual, not sore or anything though!

poppy I'm ttc#1 but second pregnancy.

vegan how did it go telling oh?

cowpat how come you're going to keep it quiet so long?

I'm meant to be going abroad for to-be-SILs hen do next may but seeing as I will be 8 months pg that won't be happening now, I'm not sure when to tell her though. I'd ideally not want to until after 12 weeks scan but I'm aware she's planning and booking activities and things already so don't know what to do.

MoonlightMojitos · 03/10/2016 20:55

giraffes try not to worry hun as that won't help (easier said than done I know). Remember that cb digis date from conception not the actual way pg is dated so 1-2 weeks on test is actually 3-4 weeks pg and the hormones can vary so much anyway. I read the normal levels somewhere and the first couple of weeks overlap alot anyway so the high end of 3weeks was the same as low end of 5 weeks if that makes sense? It's only later on that they really start to spike so don't trust them too much xx

VeganMama83 · 03/10/2016 21:20

Poppy this will be DC3 for us

Hubby was not best pleased (timing and other issues) but we've talked it thru and I'm sure he will be ok in time.

At least I have you guys to talk to! Smile

Goingmadttc · 03/10/2016 21:51

Poppy- so glad I'm not the only one with few symptoms! That trapped wind feeing you describe I think I have had too. This is my first, is it yours too? **Giraffe, I know how the tests can make you stress. I haven't done digital but agonise over the lines. I haven't tested for three days now and fee so much better for it. Maybe give yourself a few days off if you can, and maybe try a line one rather than a digital one?

Goingmadttc · 03/10/2016 21:53

Ps giraffe try a first response instead of the cheapy ones x

Poppydm · 03/10/2016 21:53

Like Moonlight says, try not to worry too much Giraffe I know it's probably easier said than done. Is it worth going to see your gp? Really hope everything is ok. That's tricky about the hen night Moonlight what does your DH think? Definitely great to have people to talk to Vegan in finding it hard being around certain people and not saying anything.

haveacupoftea · 03/10/2016 21:55

Welcome new posters! So happy I have you guys to chat to for the next 8 months Grin

Glad it went ok vegan. I suspect more of us have husbands who aren't exactly jumping for joy than would let on!

poppy this is my first.

I got a letter through from the hospital today, my booking in and scan are on the same day at 12 weeks! Bit odd but never mind. I am going on the 18th November eek Smile

Poppydm · 03/10/2016 21:57

Hi Going yes it's our first and my first pregnancy. How far along do you think you are and when did you find out? I found out on Saturday so I still feel a bit shocked. Not because we weren't trying but because it's just surreal it happening for the first time.

haveacupoftea · 03/10/2016 21:59

giraffe lines on ICs take ages to darken - mine took nearly 2 weeks to get as dark as the control line - and theres loads of stories about the digis not being reliable. You're still getting a pregnant result and thats what matters!

Poppydm · 03/10/2016 21:59

Aww exciting Tea Did it take long for your appointment to come through?

haveacupoftea · 03/10/2016 22:28

No i went to the GP not Friday past but the Friday before, I was 4 weeks then and 5+3 today so not long at all Smile

userabcname · 04/10/2016 06:29

Hi giraffe - I wouldn't worry about the conception indicator on the digital; I think the hormone can vary quite a lot as people have said. I have decided to stop testing as I think I will go mad otherwise! As long as you are getting positives I don't think you need to worry too much.

In terms of symptoms, has anyone totally lost their appetite? I am so off food that I have lost 2 lbs now. I'm not sick or anything, just totally not interested in it (most uncharacteristic!). Am going to make a concerted effort to eat sensibly today even if I don't really want it!

Myfirstbornisacollie · 04/10/2016 06:50

Hi all
Found you in the early hours this morning and thought I'd say hello.
Got shock BFP yesterday did it at work as I was due to restart my pill pack and no AF wasn't expecting it as I've had the odd time with no withdrawal bleed. Was really shocked yesterday and worried about DH reaction as we had come to agreement that DD3 will be an only.
Hardly slept last night and banging headache this morning but starting to feel a bit excited. DH shocked but lovely.
Can't work out when we conceived but line was strong, will be looking at early scan and also harmony test as I'm late 30's

Myfirstbornisacollie · 04/10/2016 06:51

Can you tell I'm a bit shocked!! Must proofread next time Grin

MrsY87 · 04/10/2016 06:59

Hi Katniss I always seem to go off food in pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester, as you say it's not that I feel sick just don't really fancy anything and then feel full really quickly. It's gradually starting again for me now, 5 weeks today. With my DD I lost 7lbs in the first trimester, I'm sure I read that it doesn't really matter too much as the babys needs are quite small to start with and it will just take what it needs from your body's reserves.

Exciting you have your appointments tea think I'm going to wait another week or two to book mine in.

Giraffe as others have said there is a massive overlap in the range for HCG so try not to worry, easier said than done though I know.

MumofthreeandBean · 04/10/2016 07:06

Katniss I am struggling to eat, feel queasy most of the time. I get waves of hunger so I eat something then soon after I'm queasy again, I'm living on water and nibbles at the moment.
Been taking pregnacare vitamins so hopefully that will help.

I am dairy free and worry about my calcium intake, can't wait to see midwife and see what she suggests.

Goingmadttc · 04/10/2016 07:51

Hi Poppy I think I am 5 weeks today as I ovulated a week late according to my temps. I found out last Monday but it still doesn't feel real! Especially without any symptoms! we've been trying For 6 months so am v happy. Got one more test sat here but too scared to do it! Katniss and Mrs- yes I feel the same, I don't feel sick but never feel hungry or fancy anything to eat! We are on holiday and it is all yummy food but nothing appeals! V unlike me! Congrats myfirstborn! X

JunebabyT · 04/10/2016 08:00

Hi all, I'm due on 1 June with our first :) Bit of a surprise as we were told we had some fertility issues so didn't expect it to happen so quickly. A couple of months ago we decided we would just "see what happens" so I can't believe I'm already pregnant! We're getting married in Feb, so a lot going on! Grin

userabcname · 04/10/2016 08:09

Thanks guys - glad I'm not alone! I thought I'd have the opposite problem and be gaining. My wedding is in 2 and a half weeks so I hope there are no drastic changes or the dress won't fit!!

Congrats everyone who has newly posted Smile

MumofthreeandBean · 04/10/2016 08:12

Wedding congrats katniss xx

haveacupoftea · 04/10/2016 08:24

Oooh I had a dream last night that I was getting a scan and baby is a boy. He was looking right at me and smiling Smile

Mooseville · 04/10/2016 08:46

Morning all!! Still pretty much symptomless here at 5+1. Sore boobs and tiredness about it!

tea I've had some vivid dreams, nothing to do with a baby, usually getting mad at DP!

I'm sure your dress will be fine within two weeks katniss exciting times!!!

VeganMama83 · 04/10/2016 09:24

Morning all! 4 weeks today for me. Hubby coming round to the idea.

Had to tell managers at work as have to immediately stop one part of my role due to being in extreme cold. But I can switch with other staff so it's fine.

Was it mum of 3 who mentioned no dairy? Obvs as vegan I get questioned on a lot of dietary info and there are lots of places to get more calcium than dairy provides, will add a pic!

With the weight thing I'm kinda dreading it as I've lost over 5st since April 2015 and been at my target weight since this April, will be an odd experience to go thru a pregnancy at a healthy weight (bmi was 29 with my first boy and 33 with my second) and also to see the scales going up!
