Anyone else Due June 2017?

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

It's getting busy on here!!!!!

I've done a frer and two clearblue, that would have been it but I accidentally shoplifted a pack from Tesco (I thought the two pack was stuck together and just scanned it once!) so I've a couple more to do next week to chase that 3+!

Very sore boobs today - and felt a bit sick today for the first time.
We've told family and close friends, the ones I'd need for support if anything were to go wrong anyway. Other than that it's just hiding the not drinking, which is so obvious for me!!!!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 02/10/2016 21:22

I have twins in my family. Don't even want to think about the possibility. I know a very strong woman from my last antenatal thread with twin boys and she is an inspiration, I'm in total awe of her. I don't know how I would cope Shock

I've told a few close friends and my mother. Didn't tell anyone until after 12 weeks last time. Seeing MIL tomorrow and did consider telling her, but perhaps I'll wait for a few weeks. She's tricky. She adores DS and would be happy for us, but we have an awkward relationship.

NappingRabbit · 02/10/2016 21:47

We haven't told anyone yet, we're allowing ourselves a few days for it to sink in, but I think we will do the same as we did last time and tell parents and immediate family on both sides but nobody else. It's a bit awkward as my friend has just told me that she is pregnant, due around the same time, but I'd rather not tell this soon.

haveacupoftea · 03/10/2016 10:25

OK I know I said I was done with Clear Blue but the crazy in me kicked in and I took one...and got a 3+!! Phew!!

It's a really good feeling to know it's all progressing especially as I have had pretty much no symptoms the last couple of days!

Mooseville · 03/10/2016 10:36

That's good news tea I'm holding out till Wednesday and hopefully will get the same result, fingers crossed!
5 weeks exactly today!

VeganEmoGirl · 03/10/2016 10:37

Hello everyone, just got an unexpected bfp this morning. Need to tell DH later Hmm

haveacupoftea · 03/10/2016 10:47

I got a 2-3 at 5 weeks mooseville, today I'm 5+3 so if you don't get it just give it an extra day or 2 Smile

haveacupoftea · 03/10/2016 10:48

Hey vegan good luck with that... how do you think he will react? Is this your first?

VeganEmoGirl · 03/10/2016 10:58

Thanks Tea! It's our 3rd. In the process of moving house but that may not be until January (legal faff holding stuff up!) and DH wanted to wait to ttc until we had moved and settled in. I have 2 boys aged 3y6m and 2y5m. Least it's not a tiny tiny gap again and the boys can be helpful. Really want them both toilet trained before bumpy arrives! My oldest has a big speech delay and it's hampered potty training amongst other things.

Will book at private reassurance scan for 8 weeks as can't wait for 12, I'm a bag of nerves. EDD at the moment of June 13th

NappingRabbit · 03/10/2016 11:24

Good news tea. I'm going to go and buy a pack of digis today to make it all feel properly real. I'm only 3+5 so it's all so very early and it feels like my faint line was an accident or mistake of some sort.

VeganEmoGirl · 03/10/2016 11:29

Napping I'm 3+6 so close to you! xx

VeganEmoGirl · 03/10/2016 11:31

This was this morning. I really didn't think I was pregnant so did the cheapy first as period was due on Friday and left it to get my boys breakfast and dressed and came back to the faintest line, then did the CBD.

Anyone else Due June 2017?
VeganMama83 · 03/10/2016 11:33

Name change! Thinking of chickening out and telling DH by letter and putting the cbd in the envelope then I will just take me and boys it before he returns home from work!

MumofthreeandBean · 03/10/2016 12:59

Congrats to new posters X

Booked midwife appointment today for 2 weeks, I will be 8weeks then

MundayCakes85 · 03/10/2016 15:13

Can anyone remember how long the period-type cramps last? Crotch watch is killing me!!

NappingRabbit · 03/10/2016 15:37

Munday I can't remember, I do remember being aware of my uterus throughout the pregnancy though. It's such a strange feeling.

Goingmadttc · 03/10/2016 15:45

Hello ladies, please can I join? I got a bfp exactly a week ago. I am 99% sure though that I ovulated late so reckon my dd is 6 June not 31 May which is what it would be based on my lmp. Like it seems a lot of you have experienced, I had 3 very early miscarriages this year but this is the furthest I have ever got so feeling hopeful but v v nervous. Drove myself mad last week doing tests and trying to work out if each one was lighter than the other, so have tried to stop for a bit and relax as am on hol this week. It is difficult being on hol as can't drink obviously and can't eat a lot of what is on the menu and trying not to sunbathe too! But so excited. Every time I go to the loo I am so scared I will see AF but then when I don't I feel like dancing for joy! Apart from the worlds worst headache on Saturday I haven't had any symptoms which worries me a bit. Anyone else not really having any symptoms? No sickness, no sore boobs. Not that I want to fee rough but don't feel preg yet so don't believe it!

MrsY87 · 03/10/2016 16:15

Good news tea!

Welcome vegan and going!

I haven't had too many symptoms yet Going, slightly sore boobs but that seems to be about it and even that isn't constant. Sorry to hear about your mcs, know exactly what you mean about feeling like dancing for joy whenever you don't see anything when you go to the loo...Hopefully the anxiety will ease off the further along we all get!

NappingRabbit · 03/10/2016 16:27

So far my only symptom is my mouth tasting like death. I keep surreptitiously smelling my breath and it's fine, just tastes revolting. And I have felt very slightly nauseous on and off, but nothing serious yet.

Goingmadttc · 03/10/2016 16:44

Thanks for your replies ladies, so good to be on here with people in the same boat!

VeganMama83 · 03/10/2016 18:30

No real symptoms besides skin like a 13yo again! Boobs slightly tender but that could be because my 2y5m old has not long self weaned.

On knicker watch too! Forgot about how worrying it all was xx

peaceloveandbiscuits · 03/10/2016 19:04

I have enough symptoms to go around, ladies AngryEnvy

Dontstepinthecowpat · 03/10/2016 19:04

Hi everyone, hoping to join in with the first trimester nerves/tentative excitement! Found out on Wednesday that I'm pregnant with DC4. We are hoping to keep it quiet until 20+ weeks so will be good to chat here. I have had so many symptoms from very early, I knew I was pregnant 3 days before testing, despite testing at only 12 days po. I've never felt such strong symptoms with other DC. Hope everyone is keeping well.

VeganMama83 · 03/10/2016 20:10

Cowpat we want to keep it quiet as long as possible and won't be announcing on facebook etc. Want to be low key this time and only the people that actually bother with us will know if they see me in person as the preg progresses.

Poppydm · 03/10/2016 20:11

Hi ladies, I've not really had any symptoms. Feel a bit crampy and like you've got trapped wind Blush but that's all. I had to tell someone at work today because of risks assosciated with my job and it just felt surreal. Is it the first pregnancy for many of you?
