Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

Really sorry to hear your sad news peas and retro. Hope you have a support irl, can't imagine how you must be feeling xxx

Russkispy · 14/10/2016 19:42

Thank you sweetpea! Sorry about MC!!! absolutely petrifying first weeks before 1st scan. Trying not to think about it. Have no real symptoms but very sore boobs! Anything you can recommend in terms of dos and donts?

MoonlightMojitos · 14/10/2016 19:58

Arghhh I wrote a massive post and now it's gone!

Welcome ruski something and dizzy!!

ruskii there's a spreadsheet somewhere with people's stats on. Will be easier on 2nd thread when it's linked on first post as you may have to hunt to find it! Not sure how many of us are on there yet though.

anna I'm the same! I'm going to be huge. I'm eating all day since nausea kicked in. Today I ate about 3 times as much as I usually would. Especially crisps. Mmm.

I'm really worried about having to tell work early due to sickness. For the last week it's been building up but eating generally helps. Today I thought I was going to vom a few times in work. The toilets are through 4 doors with key codes and up a flight of stairs so there is no way I could get to the loo in time if I was about to be sick. The only way around it would be to work from the meeting room upstairs next to toilets but then obviously everyone would know something is up and want to know why and I don't want to tell people yet. I don't know what I'll do as it's definately going to get worse.

Masweetpea1 · 14/10/2016 19:59

Haha, no not really! Everyone is so different! I do recommend biscuits by the side of your bed though, eat one before you move in the morning. Its helps with the nausea.

HelloMist · 14/10/2016 20:09

Only 13 of us on spreadsheet so far. It's here:

Or PM me if you want me to add you. :)

babyand · 14/10/2016 20:16

NappingRabbit · 14/10/2016 20:52

So sorry BitchPeas and Hippy Flowers look after yourselves.

Welcome all newbies.

Purplefairy21 · 14/10/2016 21:19

So sorry bitchpeas and hippy. :( Flowers
Welcome newbies
This 24/7 nausea is really starting to get to me, I can cope with the vomming for now. Found out from mw that I had hypermesis with ds and it's probably starting again. Bleurgh sorry for the moan.

babyand · 14/10/2016 21:42

Thanks everyone!! Oh pp I had hyperemisis with dd and swore never to have another baby after the trauma of it!! Fingers crossed we both are much better this time round x

MumofthreeandBean · 14/10/2016 21:42

Finally managed the spreadsheet!! Grin

ShortLashes · 14/10/2016 22:30

Can I join you? BFP today. Think I'm about 5 weeks pregnant; due around 16 June. Can't believe it! I've got an 11 month old DS....my periods only returned two months ago. We do want another baby but did not expect it to happen so quickly, since it took over a year of actively trying to conceive DS, yet we only DTD once last month!

I had my suspicions this week as felt utterly exhausted one afternoon at work, and felt very faint in the shower and had to sit down two mornings in a row. Plus no sign of AF.

Eek!

babyand · 14/10/2016 22:38

Shortlashes the very same as us! I put up a thread recently on how we were gonna ttc after xmas as our little one is currently 14 months!! I'm exhausted at the thought of pregnancy with a toddler!!

Skee · 14/10/2016 23:28

Welcome newbies and congratulations on your bfp's! x

Goingmadttc · 14/10/2016 23:50

Welcome newbies! I'm freaking out, just been out to dinner with friends I'm not ready to tell yet, and had to go through the mindfield of picking something off the menu I thought was safe. I chose pan fried duck breast and it arrived pink so I sent it back and it came back cooked but I think it was still medium rather than well done- no longer pink but only just turned brown. Now stressing I'm going to give the baby that toxoplasmosis thing.. please tell me that it is rare!!

CaptainWarbeck · 15/10/2016 02:45

BFP today! Due date is 24th June. Baby number 2 for us, DS is 17m. Feeling elated but a bit scared of third trimester with a toddler in the terrible twos!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 15/10/2016 05:09

Going it's very rare. Relax.

Mooseville · 15/10/2016 06:30

Morning all! Awake far too early again!!!!!

Sorry for the bad news on the thread. Thinking of you ladies.

Had a curry last night and been so bloated all night! At my sister in laws and she is 32 weeks pregnant so helping her get all her baby things set up today. Pleased I can pick up a few tips!!!

KittyVonCatsington · 15/10/2016 07:06

Congratulations to all the BFPs!!!

Shortlashes -very similar to me! Only DTD once last cycle and was using protection so came as a complete surprise to us, especially as 17 month old DD took us nearly a year, with a bit of help! Pregnancy and a small toddler is gonna be fun! Confused

RetroHippy · 15/10/2016 07:28

shortlaahes and Kitty, you will be fine. Friends I know with two under two who are older now say it is mental for a couple of years but then the close age is lovely.

Thank you for the lovely thoughts, it's been a shit night but on the whole not much worse than a bad period. DH has been a bit shit (his manflu has rendered him unable to think of anyone but himself apparently Hmm), so I'm not sure we'll be ttc again until I've forgiven him.

Bitchpeas, I hope things are going smoothly for you. Hopefully I will see you again soon on another AN thread?

Russkispy · 15/10/2016 07:28

Ladies, I'm having problems with my sleep since it was confirmed I'm pregnant. So since this Monday I started waking up around 4-5-6 on each night and struggled going back to sleep! Last night it was the worst night! Woke up around 3.40 and that was that! I was tossing and turning, then I finally gave up and got up around 7! Is anyone else experiencing the same? Is it something to do with pregnancy? If so, what to do? I'm so so tired this morning and I'm working at 9am!

pinkapples · 15/10/2016 07:51

Up early for me today too with the inability to hold my need for the toilet!

No really symptoms still a little achey here and there so happy with that... according to the internet (I had a frozen embryo transfer so needed google to work out due date) little one is due 17th June!!

Sorry to hear your news... take care of yourselves xx

userabcname · 15/10/2016 08:03

Russ - I too have had trouble sleeping since falling pregnant and I can usually sleep for England so I assume it is related! I don't know how to combat it though other than just to try to relax (even if I'm not sleeping at least I'm resting!) and sometimes have to nap after work if I'm feeling terrible. Fingers crossed it doesn't last the whole pregnancy!

Skee · 15/10/2016 08:05

Russkispy I'm with you! No idea why I'm waking in the middle of the night, but it must be a pregnancy thing if we're all experiencing it?

Sorry to hear your DH is being insensitive Retro - well done for not smothering him in the night, you're a better woman than me! Wine x
