Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

The mountain buggy duet looks great peace and a decent price for a double buggy. More pram poem for me to ogle at even though I have no place ogling prams when I am only 4+2 Grin

Goingmadttc · 13/10/2016 18:37

I love the Ovia app ! It gives you a little daily fact like the baby's nose has started developing today , etc. Mine is currently the size of a blueberry apparently!

6+2

MoonlightMojitos · 13/10/2016 18:41

going mine says it's a blueberry too (someone tell my 5 months gone bloated belly that please)!!!

Goingmadttc · 13/10/2016 19:06

He he Moonlight, I have a big bloat too, jeans are looking awful! Skee you are amazing with your triathalons! I've never been a fit/gym sort of person, I hate exercise! For my wedding I did loads of gym classes but since I got married a year ago I've done nothing! Whoops! Know you're supposed to exercise when you're pregnant but know also you shouldn't go mad when you're not used to it. So I have been using that as an excuse not to do anything because I don't really know what is safe to do!

BitchPeas · 13/10/2016 19:30

Pram porn! I have found my people Grin

I'm thinking the out n about V4 double. I want the mittens that attach to the handle bars Grin does anyone know anything about them? I'll probably need a carrycot attachment for it too.

I tried to call my consultant today but he's doesn't work at the hospital anymore so have no idea who's I'm going to be under and who's going to do my 7 week, 10 week and 16 week scans!

4+1

Still such early days and I'm not really feeling that sick anymore, an exhausted though but that could be because of anything!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 13/10/2016 19:35

I asked the GP to try and get me under the same consultant as last time because he was so lovely.

Starlight88 · 13/10/2016 20:22

Hello lovely ladies. I got my BFP last week, think I'm due around12th June, but hoping I can see the GP on Monday. It's so strange walking around knowing something crazy is going on inside me but not being able to tell anyone! Also, I've had 2 works events with drinks since my BFP - how am I supposed to keep quiet!?

KittyVonCatsington · 13/10/2016 20:34

BitchPeas I recognise your username!!! Were you on the April or May 2015 AN threads?? I swear I remember you from somewhere!! Grin

My SIL had the OutNAbout-fab double pram that! She used the carrycot that comes with it-it's like a carry bag of sorts. And I've got universal pram gloves for any pram-uses Velcro. Love them

Hi Starlight! My top tip is always accept a drink - never refuse one. It's the refusing that puts you on their radar. People never notice though, if you don't actually drink it! Worked every time for me. People were genuinely shocked when I announced last time and thought I was being irresponsible at first! Grin

KittyVonCatsington · 13/10/2016 20:35

BithcPeas-or maybe it was the TTC buses?

Myfirstbornisacollie · 13/10/2016 20:40

Had early scan tonight and lovely little blob with a heartbeat seen. Dates confirmed at 6w5d.
Told mum and stepdad as they looked after DD for us to go. They were all worried as I said I had a gynae appointment. The news went down well ☺️

sleepylil · 13/10/2016 20:51

Zero mat leave for me as well as I am redundant as of mid November :s
Also bloat tastic this week. I compared photos and I look almost the same now as I did at 6 months with my son Shock wtf?!?!?

peaceloveandbiscuits · 13/10/2016 20:56
NappingRabbit · 13/10/2016 20:57

BitchPeas I also recognised your name! I was on the April 15 antenatal thread under a different name - BananaToast. Kitty were you under the same name?

Skee · 13/10/2016 20:57

Believe me ladies - I'm a 'participant', not a 'competitor' Grin Love a hiit class too, going to try and keep some up, but maybe drop the Tabata training now!

mojitos - that ovia pregnancy app is AMAZING!! This has made my day - there's so much info! Thanks so much for the recommendation! Star

Skee · 13/10/2016 21:00

Hello Starlight!

Congrats Collie!

Prams - holy moly, I've not thought that far ahead yet... there's so much to do/get?! Confused

Dragon5000 · 13/10/2016 21:02

Wow just caught up I think!

Absolutely no sickness/nausea today freaky as hell! Making me more convinced I'm nearer 12 weeks as huge difference in how I feel. Book pain dramatically reduced too.
Cramps in my back and my muscles are loose round my back and tummy, moving suddenly is a shock to the system! I had a pulled muscle in my back at 12 weeks before which was recurrent throughout so gotta be really careful as that pain is horrible.

Can't join the pram porn as ds will be 5 and I've got my oyster from him which was used about 4 times as I just used slings and intend to again! Have the most gorgeous rs and connecta that need huge loving!

Really bloated and waking up stupidly early every morning club I'm Def in though!

7+1 maybe!

KittyVonCatsington · 13/10/2016 21:12

I remember you too Napping Rabbit! I was under the same name but moved early from April to May as my EDD changed!

Masweetpea1 · 13/10/2016 21:22

Has anyone else got a bad sore throat? I'm also ridiculously cold. I know we can't take anything for it, but I'm wondering if i should go to the doctors?

sleepylil · 13/10/2016 21:24

Wink peace x

peaceloveandbiscuits · 13/10/2016 21:30

Masweetpea you can take paracetamol and codeine, but not ibuprofen. Go crazy.

Tulip2013 · 13/10/2016 21:31

5+1 here and pondering vitamins. Been taking folic acid for months but just got vit d today. Anyone else taking it? Is there anything else you ladies are taking. I took pregnacare during pregnancy with DD but (warning TMI on route!!!!) turned my poo green! Shock

So not gonna take it this time!

Just tired and bloated today. No other symptoms yet. Still thinking maybe the BFP was wrong...!

haveacupoftea · 13/10/2016 21:47

I am just taking pregnacare and extra folic acid. The pregnacare does result in some tar like poos Blush

peaceloveandbiscuits · 13/10/2016 21:49

5mg folic acid and lots of fruit and veg when I'm not throwing them back up Envy

BitchPeas · 13/10/2016 22:35

Yep I was on the April 2015 thread but lost track of it, had HG so spent most of my pregnancy feeling a bit sorry for myself. Grin DD is 18 months now. I remember your nn being BannaToast and I recognise yours Kitty

I have 5mg folic acid on prescription and take pregnacare too.

I definitely want the out n about. DD will only be 2.2 so will need it.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 13/10/2016 22:52

How nice that there are people from past antenatal threads here together!
