Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

Fab news purple!

Goingmadttc · 12/10/2016 14:18

Amazing purple! You must be so relieved!

MumofthreeandBean · 12/10/2016 14:25

Great news X

firefly23 · 12/10/2016 15:42

Sending hugs LixonFlowers Hope everything is ok.

I'm feeling really tired today (5+6). I have a very mild like period pain or awareness in my pelvis with a bit of back ache and my legs ache. Do you guys get this? Is it normal?!

Joy388 · 12/10/2016 16:02

Great news purple!

Firefly - I'm only 4+5 ish and have had this sort of mild cramping on and off for a few days, particularly at night when I'm trying to get to sleep (typical). From what I've heard and read it's very common and not a problem unless it's severe pain.

NappingRabbit · 12/10/2016 16:13

Lovely purple!

firefly throughout my last pregnancy I had a constant awareness of my uterus, and I have similar this time so far. It's not painful, it just feels like something is happening in there.

I am so tired this afternoon, really struggling to stay awake at my desk. I just want to curl up and have a nap.

Mummyh2016 · 12/10/2016 16:45

Congrats purple

vegan no not going to tell her till closer to 12 weeks if I can get away with it. I'm at target also, only hit it last week which means if I put on half a lb more I'm no longer at target. Just glad I hit it before I got my BFP! I'm only 4+5 so got a while to wait yet.

firefly23 · 12/10/2016 17:05

Great news Purple!

I told my boss today as I was so tired and a bit nauseous this morning, he was bound to notice soon. Also, my belly is bigger than I imagined it would be at this point so others are likely to notice soon! I had a pot belly before but this is getting quite prominent and I'm only 6 weeks tomorrow!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 12/10/2016 17:13

I've got back ache and leg ache today as well. Like bad period pain. I'm 5+6

haveacupoftea · 12/10/2016 17:15

Thanks everyone I got over my work stress with the help of food, feeling much better today!

I had my first vomit today! Which was strange becase i wasnt even particularly queasy at that moment in time!

Up for a wee at 3am for the first time too. Normally i can go from 11.30 - 6 or 7. I feel a fullness in my pubic area now for sure.

6+5

haveacupoftea · 12/10/2016 17:16

Thrilled for you purple...I am not having an early scan...I feel like it would cause me more stress. I want to protect myself by keeping the feeling of it being a little unreal for another while too Blush

Mooseville · 12/10/2016 17:18

Mummyh I'm with you on the constipation!!! Considering buying some prune juice as I've heard that moves things along!!!

Mummyh2016 · 12/10/2016 18:14

Sorry to hear you're suffering too moose but at the same time happy that I'm not the only one and it's normal! It's getting to the point where it's unbearable, hope I have some movement soon! It's uncomfortable to lie on my tummy at night which must be because of being so bloated. If you try the prune juice let me know how you get on Smile

userabcname · 12/10/2016 18:21

How exciting purple!!

I still feel sick but didn't vomit today (so far!!), am constipated and have been getting terrible heartburn. Week 6 really seems to have kicked things up a notch symptoms-wise. I am so terrified of gaining weight over the next 9 days before my wedding - I haven't so far but have developed a weird aversion to meat and fruit so have mainly been eating starchy carbs! Argh! Fingers crossed the dress still fits!! Confused

haveacupoftea · 12/10/2016 18:45

katniss try incorporating some slimming world recipies into your diet this week. Most of them are based on starchy carbs Smile

Masweetpea1 · 12/10/2016 18:50

Yayy purple, great news.
napping, I've been the same today, i could have fallen asleep at my desk!
katniss agree re the symptoms, i wasn't sick today (thankfully as i ache so much after yesterdays vomit session!), I'm absolutely knackered and just want to cry..... Sad
Dealing with a 16 month old as well is bloody hard work!! It's it bed time yet?!!!

userabcname · 12/10/2016 19:07

Thanks tea - I'll check them out Smile
Glad it's not just me sweet pea! I hope you get a good night's rest. Flowers

MoonlightMojitos · 12/10/2016 19:10

OMG I just wrote a massive post and now it's gone... I really cba to write it again sorry! Back from my mini-break and there are 8 pages to catch up on so bear with me while I catch up! Welcome to all the newbies!

It was such a relief to see baby so soon on the scan and I was able to relax when we were away. It's incredible to think there's a little heartbeat in there already!

Congrats purple!

firefly I've had awful, awful cramps like period is coming and also really bad backache so was referred for early scan Sunday and everything was fine, it's very common (I also have a cyst on one ovary that's causing pain but again very common) I've just had to take some paracetamol for my back it was that bad. No idea how I'm actually going to cope later on let alone in labour 😂

katniss my God, the carbs. I'm with you there. I'm so worried about being the size of a house soon.

I've been feeling sick since Sunday now. It comes and goes throughout the day and the only thing that helps is eating so I'm pretty much grazing all day on crisps :/! Until about 5/6 o'clock and then it comes and stays all night. On the plus side if it stays like this I should be able to get through work without anyone noticing, it's just dp who gets to put up with me being a miserable mess every evening. I'm the first to admit I'm not good with feeling ill so I'm seriously grumpy and emotional.

Can someone add me to the spreadsheet please? I've tried a few times but can't seem to get it working work and I don't have access to a pc except at work and don't want to risk that! Any volunteers and I'll pm you my details? Smile

MoonlightMojitos · 12/10/2016 19:10

Oh... 5+6 I always forget!

haveacupoftea · 12/10/2016 19:44

Ah i need added to spreadsheet too cant do it on my phone x

MundayCakes85 · 12/10/2016 19:55

Really sorry to hear what you're going through Lixon, hope you have support irl.
Great news about the scan purple, must be a relief!
Had a busy day for DD's birthday. Now sat on the sofa eating chocolate. Going to try to be careful this time, with DD I put on over 4 stone- lots of it was water. I was like a blimp Shock

KittyVonCatsington · 12/10/2016 20:40

Happy Birthday to DD MundayCakes85!!
Cake

Slightly better day on the symptoms front in that there weren't many but then it was a super busy day! I hear you with also dealing with a (in my case a 17 month old!) small toddler Masweetpea! While dealing with a tantrum because she didn't want to take her thick coat off indoors, she kicked out and narrowly missed my tum. Probably would be fine but just made me think a bit! Grin

HelloMist · 12/10/2016 21:03

Tea and Moonlight, PM me and I'll do it :)

Poppydm · 12/10/2016 21:37

Hi ladies,
Just catching up on all of your posts. Hope you had a lovely break Mojitos lovely about the scan Purple and sorry to hear about the sickness. When does sickness typically start? I'm 6+2 I think. Main symptoms are total tiredness, eating like a horse, needing to pee constantly and tender boobs. Also had a few horrible night sweats for about a week.
Spoke to the midwife to book an appointment in today and got to phone back next week. Is it right that they do a home visit first? She said they need to know which hospital I want to go to at least three days before the visit. Can anyone give me any tips on choosing a hospital? Thank you in advance! Smile

KittyVonCatsington · 12/10/2016 22:19

Oh! They do it differently Poppy than they do it here! No home visits! Mostly one hospital is much the same as the other but in my personal opinion, go with the nearest one for now. You can always change your mind later!
