Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

Hi Joy, I love that stat, that has made my day!

Mummyh2016 · 10/10/2016 14:55

The doctor took my blood pressure, went through the usual smoking/drinking questions.
Anyway the receptionist put my details in the 'book' and said they'll call me, said I might be 8 weeks before I get a call. What I expected but why I needed to see the doctor I will never know.

annakd1234 · 10/10/2016 15:52

Joy I've just calculated mine from the day of my last period which was basically when I stopped the pill.
The early USS I just googled 'early pregnancy ultrasound Bournemouth' and it came up with 2 places so I've just booked at one of them, I'll be 7+1 by my dates at the time and the place I've booked at says you should be between 7-11. I put in my LMP and they then offered me a range of dates, picked that one because I'm going on holiday and that one will be 2 days before we go! Have paid for it privately.

Skee · 10/10/2016 15:55

Joy you have absolutely made my day too!

Glad it all went ok Mummyh, even if it did feel a bit pointless - I do wish I had a chance to talk to a medical professional before my appointment at 9wks - just for some guidance on what I should/shouldn't be doing/taking/eating etc. I'll need to rely on Dr Google instead!

Goingmadttc · 10/10/2016 16:01

Skee I feel just the same! I rang up as soon as I got my BFP and the best they could do was to fit me in at 10.5 weeks! Ridiculous! Luckily I am a serial Googler so hopefully I am eating the right things etc but it wouldn't be very good if you didn't know what to eat or avoid or that you are supposed to take folic acid etc as nobody official wants to see you at the start!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2016 16:07

I threw up on the train today, and the toilet was blocked with brown water, which was great. Fuck you, South West Trains.

Masweetpea1 · 10/10/2016 16:11

Hideous situation peace , hope you're feeling a bit better. Shock
I decided to make some tuna croquettes for my little girl. Bad idea, the smell was horrendous. Nausea galore but not been sick yet.

6+0

Mummyh2016 · 10/10/2016 16:13

To be fair the doc was really nice, I'd not seen him before as mine retired last year and not been since. Didn't think to ask about food but mentioned I had a sore throat which had looked at, said I can take strepsils and lozenges. Said when it comes to painkillers only take paracetamol and nothing else. I was shocked I could take paracetamol to be honest, thought I'd have to suffer!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2016 16:26

You mustn't take ibuprofen but paracetamol and codeine both fine to take.

Foods to avoid are on the NHS website, but there's really no need to deprive yourself too much. The risk is the same whether you're pregnant or not.

Tulip2013 · 10/10/2016 17:18

Hello! Can I join please? Got BFP on Saturday morning and think I'm 4+5. So fingers crossed I'm due 14 June. DD1 is 3 later this month. Haven't seen doctor yet. Must admit feel like I'm a first timer again. Have no idea what I'm doing! Trying to remember what I can't eat. Tried to be healthy at lunch and had beetroot and carrot juice. After drinking it saw it was unpausterised..... FFS.... its vegetables, how dangerous can it be?!? Now paranoid mess!

KittyVonCatsington · 10/10/2016 18:00

Hi Tulip! I'm a bit naughty when it comes to eating foods I shouldn't so I say you needn't worry with your smoothie!

Retro It seems weird being up in the middle of the night and it's not because of baby crying! Grin Was up at 3:30 for a pee again and was wide awake for ages after-Boo!

I really should ring the GP for booking in tomorrow-completely forgot today!

Sending non-vom vibes to everyone. I really don't remember feeling this nauseous with DD ponders if it's a boy

NappingRabbit · 10/10/2016 18:01

Tulip I wouldn't worry, juice is juice, surely? I'm also 4+5 but found out over a week ago now so time is dragging v slowly! Wish I'd been more patient to test!

peace that sounds grim, bloody SW Trains. Have you investigated sitting in first class? I vaguely looked into it before I was pregnant but don't think you're allowed until you have a MatB1 form to prove the pregnancy so it won't happen for ages yet. Last time I was pregnant I needed the seat just as much in the first trimester as I did in the last, and more so than in the second trimester!

Mooseville · 10/10/2016 18:04

Joy that stat made me so happy! I'd talked myself into weeks 6-9 being the worst for miscarriages, without any proof! Lol

GP appointment booked for week 9!

6 weeks

peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2016 18:11

I was only on a day trip with DS and it's only a 25 min journey into London. It's only because you have to sit outside the toilets with a pushchair, else I'd have been fine. A lovely woman with a baby watched DS while I heaved Envy will be digging out my Baby On Board badge soon, though.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2016 18:12

How many times did I use the word, "only" in that post?

haveacupoftea · 10/10/2016 18:17

Another poster added this link in the pregnancy forum which i think some of you would like.

spacefem.com/pregnant/mc.php?m=08&d=26&y=16

It calculates your odds of miscarriage by days from LMP. I'm down to 5.9% Smile

Sorry if this upsets anyone. But I find it comforting

Dragon5000 · 10/10/2016 18:31

Scan date 18th November wooooo I'll be 12+2 I suddenly feel fat today no belt trousers didn't fall down I'm still I little convinced I might be 4 weeks ahead but we shall see at the scan!

Goingmadttc · 10/10/2016 19:09

Tulip I wouldnt even think to check juice! If you're not ill from it yet then I would say you're fine! Vegetable juice does not sound high risk to me! Tea; I like that formula, it really shows how each day and week the odds improve dramatically! Peace your train experience sounds horrific. I'm just on south west trains home now from work and I nearly couldn't find a seat and was panicking. You're right though I looked it up and you don't get first class til you've got your MatB form at 5 months. Doesn't seem fair! I still don't have symptoms except i am finding this lack of appetite really odd. I am normally such a pig and get bored at work so snack all day. I bought various snacks to work today and didn't touch them! Plus there was cake today which I just didn't fancy. I just don't feel hungry. Very odd!

pinkapples · 10/10/2016 19:10

Hi.. sorry to those feeling sick, I'm feeling positively nothing at the moment so that can only be a good thing 4+3 I think Hmm
I have had a reaction to the pregnacare tho so went today and bought individual vitamin D and folic acid so my huge puffy eyes should calm down... DD being a pickle today after no rest...! Early to bed and chill time for mummy and daddy Grin

Myfirstbornisacollie · 10/10/2016 19:12

So many new additions Smile

I am properly feeling crap now. Feel like I need to eat to avoid feeling sick then feeling sick after I eat with occasional actual vomiting. Grim

DH has turned the corner of our bonus baby I think so feeling less emotional.

Booked a scan for Thursday when I think I'll be around 7 weeks. I looked at the spreadsheet but haven't got as far as editing yet!

Collie
6+3ish??!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2016 19:34

I strongly recommend sending off for a BOB badge from TFL.

In my last pregnancy I did a 12 hour train and ferry journey from London to Belfast at 34 weeks (no, I don't know what I was thinking, and yes, I do think it helped me go into labour at 38 weeks). So really, for me no train journey will ever be as hideous as that Grin

Goingmadttc · 10/10/2016 19:35

Hi peace yes I thought of that but I would be too scared that I bump into someone from work on train or tube and that will give the game away.. not telling work til after 12 week scan. Perhaps I will have to wear a disguise!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2016 20:05

Ooh never thought of that! I didn't tell work until 20 weeks last time Confused it helped that I only saw my manager once or twice in that time Hmm

beanbag19 · 10/10/2016 21:08

No.2 due 24 June ish!! Done 3 HPT over the past six days which have all been negative but was probably testing too early. Just got off the phone with BIL and SIL who just told us they're 12 weeks pregnant so had a sudden urge to POAS and here we are!! Congratulations to everyone else!
