Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

Hi everyone...
I got my BFP on Thursday night 7days after a 5 day frozen embryo transfer! I couldn't wait to test as wasn't meant to till this thursday!!! Very early days but very happy!

MumofthreeandBean · 08/10/2016 07:31

Congrats apples X

Mooseville · 08/10/2016 07:37

Congrats apples

Nothing new to report here. Symptoms have vanished again for the time being....
DP went out last night and I banished him to the sofa to avoid the stench of stale booze!!! Wink I wouldn't have got away with that pre pregnancy!!

5-5

MundayCakes85 · 08/10/2016 08:05

Hi newbies!!
Bus is filling up. I'm just getting ready for work Sad Belly cramps have eased up a bit but still massively tired and sore boobs. I hate this waiting and worrying stage, at least I have you guys in the same boat as me though Smile

MoonlightMojitos · 08/10/2016 08:10

lixon sorry about your scare, hope everything is OK at the next scan.

poppy I've had to choose hospital already too which I think is really stupid because you cant book a tour/showaround until you're 12 weeks!

Has anyone else enquired about getting a flu jab yet?

Congrats apples!!

I got myself in a bit of panic yesterday that mine was ectopic as I was having quite intense pain in my left hand side. I'm not sure what to do really. It's gone again today but dp wants me to call drs anyway and see if they'll do a scan to confirm. I did get a very early bfp so am now questioning what if that's because it didnt reach where it should and implanted in my tube :(

Dragon5000 · 08/10/2016 08:22

Ugh my phone hates mn! Keeps crashing when I try to read back! I'd Def be interested in a fb group!

Moonlight it's always worth getting checked out peace of mind if nothing else.

When I went to the Dr to confirm my pg sure did my flu jab there and then.

I'm in the middle of 2 hospital one is mlu one normal so just need to look into it but dh is generally paranoid and the normal ward is actually closer slightly and in my district but I don't think I actually have to choose for ages anyway.
With my first, before it turned into mlu I had no choice because my nearest was closed so had to go to the other.

My boobs are causing me so much I think in going to have to pull out the maternity bras already

peaceloveandbiscuits · 08/10/2016 08:22

I always thought they needed to know which hospital you wanted so they could allocate you to the right team of midwives? The ones I see at my doctors surgery are attached to the hospital I gave birth in. I don't suppose that's the case for the other two hospitals I could choose from because they're further away.

NappingRabbit · 08/10/2016 08:26

Don't worry about choosing hospital early, you can always change your mind at any point.

I think I'm going to go with a different hospital to last time as my postnatal visits were done by the community midwives from the one I didn't give birth at (they are allocated by where you live, not where you gave birth) and I felt strongly that they better understood what I had wanted (ie minimal intervention/monitoring) and told me to go with them for a home birth next time. So that's my plan at the moment.

JunebabyT · 08/10/2016 08:29

So sorry mrs and giraffe Flowers

I'm a bit worried I don't have many symptoms really - just sore boobs, a bit tired and starving hungry! Not that I want to feel sick obviously but wondering if I should be Confused

I'm about 6+2

sleepylil · 08/10/2016 08:42

Moonlight if it's stressing you out and making you anxious it's definitely worth giving docs / ooh / 111 a call for peace of mind.
I've had quite severe, crampy, stabby pain (enough to take my breath away for a second) in my left hand side early on with both pregnancies. Its often down to a corpus luteum cyst which seem to be very common and 9 times out of 10 right themselves in time. I had the pain this time in week 4 and first half of week 5 but seems to have settled down now.

6 + 2 ish

userabcname · 08/10/2016 08:45

Hi junebaby - I haven't had much sickness either; I've lost my appetite a bit but other than that it's just the sore boobs and tiredness for me. I was a bit worried too but just spoken to my friend who gave birth to a beautiful , healthy baby boy last week (he is GORGEOUS!!) and she said she didn't experience any morning sickness her whole pregnancy so that reassures me. Smile

MoonlightMojitos · 08/10/2016 08:54

Hmm I guess I should ring the drs about flu jab then? They didn't want to see me, I called the midwives direct but my first appointment isn't until 31st so another 3 weeks yet and you're meant to have it as early as possible into the season aren't you?

I was told you need to choose hospital as that's where you have your 12 week scan so they need to allocate you before then.

Thanks dragon and sleepy... I'll see how it is this weekend. We're going on holiday tomorrow so I'm not sure how that would work as epu isn't open weekends so I'd need to wait until we're back anyway? We're not going abroad but obviously will be a few hours away from my local epu.

MoonlightMojitos · 08/10/2016 08:54

(5+2) keep forgetting!

annakd1234 · 08/10/2016 09:05

Hi, can I join too? I think I'm 4+4 today - had a lot of confusion with pregnancy tests tho- I've taken ANOTHER one this morning and it's still positive! I'm starting to feel sick :( my due date would be 13/6 by my calculations. So hi everyoneSmile

JunebabyT · 08/10/2016 09:25

That's reassuring katniss, would be great to get away with none!

I haven't been told anything about choosing my hospital though I have to drop in to fill in some papers before booking in apparently so maybe I will have to put one down then.

HelloMist · 08/10/2016 09:59

I didn't have any morning sickness in my first pregnancy with DD. Not everyone does!

MoonlightMojitos · 08/10/2016 10:52

I think I read about 80% get morning sickness of some sorts and some of those are just a bit of nausea with no actual sickness so hope you're a lucky one! My mum didn't find out she was pg with until nearly 3 months in and swears she had no symptoms except her boobs got bigger but she didn't think anything of it until her friend mentioned they looked huge and joked are you pregnant so she tested!

Goingmadttc · 08/10/2016 13:09

JuneBaby I feel the same, I am feeling so down today because I'm now 5+4 with not a hint of a symptom- no tiredness, no nausea, no sore boobs.. Literally feel no different. Have today convinced myself I've had a missed miscarriage which is silly really as I know lots of people don't have symptoms til 6 weeks at least. Have an early scan booked a week on Thursday but that seems like ages away!. Moonlight that makes me feel so much better that your mum said she has no symptoms. I need to get into a positive frame of mind I know. But at the same time don't want to get my hopes up.

MundayCakes85 · 08/10/2016 13:24

With DD I had no morning sickness. Just felt "off" for a while. My Mum also didn't get sick, so maybe it runs in the family?

MoonlightMojitos · 08/10/2016 13:31

So I rang 111 about my pain I've been having and I have a hospital appointment at 2.30 and now I'm crapping my pants. I was quite calm until I rang them but now I feel so scared :(. I so hope everything is OK. I don't think I could if it went wrong a second time.

MundayCakes85 · 08/10/2016 13:55

Glad you're being seen so quickly Moon, you must be worried sick. Here to hand hold if you need it. Let us know how you get on xxx

userabcname · 08/10/2016 14:11

Good luck moon - I really hope everything is ok for you.

HelloMist · 08/10/2016 15:21

I've made a spreadsheet for us based on a club I was in before. If anyone has suggestions to improve the columns let me know. You can leave fields out if you want. :)

BoBo90 · 08/10/2016 15:27

Moonlight - hope you're ok lovely and the pain is staying away. How ds the appointment go?

I've only just had sore boobs the last two days so those without symptoms I don't think it's anything to worry about 😊

Dragon5000 · 08/10/2016 15:40

With my 1st I had no sickness whatsoever. I actually had a fantastic pregnancy with the blooming and thick hair and beautiful nails and clear skin! This time, already I feel rough, have spots and don't have the energy to walk up the 3 flights of stairs I have to my flat!
