Thanks for the tip, marmite, will take a look at one of those! I ordered a pair of ASOS maternity leggings today. Borrowed my brother's account to get his free next day delivery so I'll let you know what they're like when they arrive tomorrow. Normally I'm slap bang between a 10 and a 12 so leggings are a pain as they seem to wind up miles too big or way too tight, but I'm hopeful these will be OK... If not, thank goodness for free returns! Wink

sarahhh1984 · 07/10/2016 15:29

Oh, on the subject of nicknames/pronouns, we've been calling the baby Splodge to avoid 'he' or 'she'. If I've had to use a pronoun I've said 'they' but that tends to cause people to think I mean 'they' as in plural.

Helbelle75 · 07/10/2016 15:33

Ours is baby bump, but I keep saying 'he'. Maybe all will change at the 20 week scan.
Lots of lovely scans at the moment, what a nice time for us all.
I've been buying extra large tights so they cover my tummy, but they keep falling down! I wear leggings, and dresses a lot, so think I will be living in those for the next few months.

choccybiscuit · 07/10/2016 15:59

Thanks for the advice bingly. I might just buy another pot then.
Beautiful scan picture celtic
My scan went very well, but baby was not being very cooperative being in the right position for measurements.

choccybiscuit · 07/10/2016 16:11

Also measuring another 5 days ahead so due 9th April Smile

MrsRhubarb · 07/10/2016 16:46

Ooh, that's a few of us due on the 9th Choccy. I'm assuming that I will be a week late again though, so I don't get too fixated on the day and disappointed as it sails by like last time

marmitecheesetoast · 07/10/2016 16:53

Ooh sounds like we're a very similar size then sarah so will definitely be interested to hear how you find the Asos leggings! I've been finding my existing leggings have been fine so far but think maybe I need to look at maternity tights as they are starting to leave quite a mark on me Confused

I've just realised my due date is Good Friday!

I Have referred to mine as 'bump' a few times but feels a bit silly when not got a proper bump yet!

MumiTravels · 07/10/2016 17:10

Matalan maternity leggings are amazing. Only £6/8 a pair too. They are nice and long. They really come up over your bump so your not hoiking them up all day. I'm going to get some to travel in for holiday In a couple of weeks.

I've had some bleeding this afternoon. Not had any for a few weeks so it was a bit of a suprise. It always happens on a Friday doesn't it. I'm in work for three nights now too. Will see how it goes.

marmitecheesetoast · 07/10/2016 17:24

Thanks for the leggings tip mumi! Love a bit of Matalan! Sorry to hear you've had some bleeding, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but must be unsettling Flowers take it easy if you can

SharkBastard · 07/10/2016 17:27

Hope things settle down, mumi

Friday seems to be my worst sickness day, I puked this morning and then felt sick all day and now having to keep shaking my leg to stop me from puking as we've a joiner in doing some work and I don't want to vomit with them here

When will this stop?!?! So fed up of it!

WindyTriller · 07/10/2016 17:49

Hi everyone. I don't post much on here as it moves so fast but I do have a quick read every now and then to see how everyone is.

Had my scan today measuring 13+3 so a day ahead of what I first thought making my due date 11th April.

Relieved to see a healthy baby with a heartbeat as although I'd had nothing to suggest otherwise I just worried something would be wrong. Why must we torture ourselves so much?!

finova · 07/10/2016 18:01

H and m do great tall trousers. I've got a black and maroon pair which are both really comfy. (I'm 5ft 10 and they are long enough- not even called 'long').

Celen · 07/10/2016 18:14

Can pregnancy get any more glamorous?

During the last week, the skin on my legs has suddenly developed loads of small eczema-like patches Shock No idea why but definitely not something I've heard of previously Confused

jpeg28 · 07/10/2016 18:17

Amazing scan photos everyone!

That's exciting Mumi hope offer is accepted!!

I'm having a shopping meltdown. I have a wedding tomorrow... everything in my normal size is too small, the size up is big in the wrong places, maternity stuff is too big! I have managed to buy the most boring dress in history from warehouse that hides my tummy but it could easily be something I wear to work! I should not have left this to the last minute... also I have really bad back ache today. Sorry for the moan!!

ChatEnOeuf · 07/10/2016 18:51

Lovely to see more happy scan pics!

I am embracing knitted dresses this week, with M/L tights, which just about stay up. I have a proper, recognisable bump by mid-afternoon, which is lovely to stare at when I should be working.

I'm also tired of the sickness. I must have looked pretty grim at work today as I even got sympathy from the grumpy patients! My bump is called MicroChat. Just like MiniChat and TinyChat before.

Good luck for the house offer Mumi.

PM either me or Lotsa for Facebook :)

Number4OnTheWay · 07/10/2016 20:09

Just pmed you about the Facebook group too! I forget to check in here 🙈 but am on there every day!!

Had my scan today too and everything looking good :) glad to hear of all the other good scans xx

abeandhalo · 07/10/2016 20:32

Celen my eczema at the moment is ridiculous.

I have always had sensitive skin but as long as I use non-bio washing powder, etc, it's usually OK.

But this week in the evenings my skin is on fire! I don't know what to do about it might have to use camomile lotion?

choccybiscuit · 07/10/2016 20:49

mumi I'm sure it w

Celen · 07/10/2016 20:50

Thing is abeandhalo, I've got no idea if it is actually eczema as I've never had it before! But my skin is certainly more sensitive now I'm pregnant, it's ridiculous Sad

choccybiscuit · 07/10/2016 20:51

Posted too soon! Just saying I'm sure the bleeding will stop soon. It's worrying when it happens.

MyGreenSofa · 07/10/2016 22:31

Highly recommend using Sudocrem to anyone having skin problems, it's a multi use miracle cream in my opinion! Used on my preggo spots and also some insect bites I've had that have been ridiculously itchy and persistent and has been a great help!

WindyTriller · 07/10/2016 23:15
