Hello - I'd like to join! I had my 12 scan yesterday and officially 12 weeks and 3 days (due 9th April)! I had a miscarraige in June and I didn't want to come on here until we'd had the scan and all was ok. It's been a tough summer as I've been scared bad expecting the same thing to happen again.

I am off course still paranoid and terrified but the sonographer kept saying it was a lovely baby and all was perfect so I'm keeping everything crossed. I now feel I can start talking about the little person!

Midrog · 28/09/2016 17:26

Hi everyone :) quick update, I've been lurking and seeing what everyone is up to lol. Had my scan today, they put me back 3 days so 12+0 (which I know is wrong but whatever!). Healthy baby in there wriggling about all over the place :) New due date 12th April. I'm happy to join a facebook group as long as its completely secret lol x

Great news midrog and welcome paperandpaint... there is an amazing thread ( other than this one! ) called Staying posifrickingtive which is lots of ladies who are now pregnant after losses... I would definitely recommend it!

Theknittinggorilla · 28/09/2016 18:43

Thank you choccy and jpeg. I think I will have to embrace the bump. Don't really mind people knowing, though don't really want to announce a pregnancy at someone's wedding. Family know anyway. Might get a big cover up and hope it's cold!

Welcome paper and congrats on the scan midrog

MrsRhubarb · 28/09/2016 19:00

Shark that's awful that they won't even try and help. Would you be able to get an appointment with your GP to see if they are more sympathetic? I practically cried at my midwife during my booking in when talking about how bad the sickness was, and she kept reminding me that there was a sink in the room and to use it if I needed. The ondasetron hasn't got rid of it totally, but it is managable. I am only taking the lower dose though, because I am very worried about what will happen when it runs out, especially if they won't prescribe it again.

Chloe663 · 28/09/2016 19:59

Jpeg omg it looks like we're on the same cycle haha. I can't wait. My scan is also sometime next week so due date will officially be confirmed GrinGrinGrin

StillaChocoholic · 28/09/2016 20:02

DS has just been prodding my belly saying "your big belly is sooo big, your big big belly is biiggg"
Thanks kid. DH certainly found it amusing.
Heartburn has reared its ugly head tonight but in better news I think I felt the baby earlier. I'm 13 weeks and was thinking it's too early but it really felt like when DS used to push his feet against me but lighter.

MumiTravels · 28/09/2016 23:56

Hello Ladies. Hope everyone's well.

I've been a bit quiet as we go on a 4 week travel in 4 weeks times and we were going to go to alot of south east Asia however zika has hit Singapore which has majorly changed our travel plans! Still got 8 days left to sort out but managed to book the first 3 weeks up now which is good.

Two weeks or so until my scan when I can relax a bit hopefully and enjoy it.

Celen · 29/09/2016 06:54

I'm glad you posted that Stilla - I'm just 2 days ahead of you and thought I had felt some movement in the last few days but dismissed it, thinking it was waaay too early!

Is it really possible we could feel the babies already? Are our stomach muscles that wrecked the second time round Grin that we can feel babies that are only the size of toy cars?

abeandhalo · 29/09/2016 07:14

Love all the scan pics! Got mine on Monday. Will be quite glad for it to not be a secret anymore as it feels like I've been pregnant for aaaaages now. I feel like it must be so obvious, not necessarily my belly but my behaviour.
I can't fit in my my normal trousers anymore but wore maternity jeans for the first time this week & they're slipping down. Hmm
We have started to think about names but my husband is so fussy, I've told him to come up with a shortlist then I'll work from that!

MrsRhubarb · 29/09/2016 07:58

Marmite it's scan day! I feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

I won't be so happy if they move my EDD back by a week like they did with DD, I don't want to go back to being 11 weeks and have to do it all over again Grin

Celen · 29/09/2016 08:12

Good luck for scans today!! Feel free to post the pics later Smile

Massive TMI alert :- I've had very little CM since falling pregnant but when I came out the shower earlier, a huge yellow/creamy blob came out, I was Shock Shock Shock
Has this happened to anyone else???

TopKittyKat · 29/09/2016 08:15

Woohoo! 12 weeks today! Scan on Tuesday...we're making progress.

Hopefully the nausea will stop soon. I haven't put on any weight so far because I'm struggling to eat.

Good luck for those having scans today.

abeandhalo - my DH is saying no to anything I suggest too. I think he thinks it's too early to think of names and wants to wait until we find out the sex.

I'm with all of you struggling to hide your big bellies. Mine gets huge by the end of the day. I keep showing DH and he keeps saying I'm pushing it out (I'm not). I'm sure everyone must know!

summerskittles91 · 29/09/2016 08:17

Good luck for everyone having a scan today Smile

Celen I've had the weirdest of discharge and what not appear so I think everything is pretty normal! might just be a build up?

marmitecheesetoast · 29/09/2016 08:21

Haha it is Rhubarb!! Grin I thought of you when I finally gave up trying to sleep at 6am this morning! Very restless night between the excitement/apprehension/peeing and crazy dreams!!
Mine's in an hour, eek. When is yours?
Thanks all Smile

Celen · 29/09/2016 09:08

Thanks summerskittles Smile, it's my fifth pregnancy (only second one to get this far though) so you'd think I'd have seen it all but apparently not, it took me by surprise Blush

Anyone else who's already got a dc/dcs felt movement early already?

And commiserations to those feeling nauseous and sicky - at 13+5, I think mine has finally eased off. Still tired with sore boobies but I can cope with that ok Smile

MrsRhubarb · 29/09/2016 09:25

9.45, just about to head off. Currently trying to negotiate with DD who wants to being all of her cuddly toys with her. Sigh.

summerskittles91 · 29/09/2016 09:25

Is it reasonable to be eating Dairy milk at 9:25am to help ease the sickness? Blush

Mummymulb16 · 29/09/2016 09:34

celen this is my second DC and I have been feeling flutters the past 4 days I was so shocked ! 14 weeks today so can't wait till I feel more Smile

Celen · 29/09/2016 09:44

ANYTHING is reasonable in pregnancy summerskittles Grin

StillaChocoholic · 29/09/2016 09:52

Celen I was thinking I was mad and posted in a Facebook group I'm on and a couple of people on there have had flutters or movements. I'm really surprised I could feel baby so early!

Good luck for your scans today guys Smile

SharkBastard · 29/09/2016 10:19

Good luck with the scan's ladies!

You're all so far ahead, still lagging behind at 10+4! Can't wait to feel movements, many said from 13 weeks for the second, so it's definitely not out of the realms of possibility.

12 days till my first scan!

Theknittinggorilla · 29/09/2016 11:16

I'm there with you shark! 10+5 and based on my serenity scan only 10+2 (but I refuse to give up my 3 days). 12 week scan is 2 weeks today!

I felt movement with my second at 14 weeks ish so hopefully not that long.

MrsRhubarb · 29/09/2016 12:23

One very, very wriggly little baby, all present and correct. DD loved seeing the scan, she was so good. Less so after forever waiting to see the Midwife who got in a total flap over the fact my mum had high blood pressure in pregnancy. My blood pressure is marvellous, and was all the way through last pg, so not sure why it's an issue. She got a doctor to prescribe me aspirin, but not a new course of sickness meds despite me being almost out and nearly throwing up on her after she took my bloods. So still have to try and get to the GP or risk being without at work all weekend. Grr. But yay for baby! Any of you nub theory people able to venture a guess?

MrsRhubarb · 29/09/2016 12:28

Oh, also EDD has stayed exactly the same, which really surprised me.
