Behold, the wonder of birth! Members from 6 weeks bfp to post-partum wonder Mamas! No question to grotty or minging.

We've come full circle from obsessing about cervical mucus to now obsessing if it's our vagina baby plug going! What larks!

Lots of talk about poo, ours and now babies too! Baby brain is REAL! This heat can kiss my arse. And who KNEW being so neurotic about which changing mat to buy could be so satisfying and addictive!

Sooo many gorgeous babies now! And equally lovely Mummy's! We are amazing! What a year! Can you believe it's been a year since our first tentative TTC thread!? Look how far we've come!

Roll up, literally, in my case, cause I'm practically rotund! for TTC #1 Grads!

Was meant to be going to the breastfeeding group but I'm so tired that I'm still in bed. I'm finding it hard to get out of the house at the moment as I'm often really tired in the mornings, which seems to be when most things are on. I don't have much motivation to go for a walk later in the day either.

Theo woke at 10.45 (I went to bed at 8), some time around 2 (I think) and then started waking at 4.45 but not really properly until 5.15. I was awake a lot in the night as he was unsettled and up from 5.15 until 6.45 as well. Managed another hour or so asleep after that though. I'm really bad at coping with broken sleep.

mayago · 12/10/2016 11:12

One of the first baby purchases I made was a Gro Egg. I'm so pleased it seems to be a useful bit of kit!

Leonie boo for the broken sleep. I'm finding it hard to stay asleep at the moment, and it takes me ages to get going in the morning. And there's only me to care for - I don't know how well I'll cope with a small human Confused Do you find the breastfeeding group useful?

Potato whoa, that's a long period.

Marmite I only started not needing a night time wee in the late second trimester. But by that point I'd be awake in the night for no reason anyhow, so it's a no-win situation. Hope you find something to relieve your eczema.

So many lovely baby pictures! Indi Autumn is absolutely adorable! I'm glad you're feeling better, and that Autumn is letting you get some sleep!

I think third trimester starts tomorrow (28 weeks?). My ex has just text me to tell me my car (which he has kept; I've got the one he's paying for) has been stolen over night and my stomach went instantly rigid. I need to learn to deal with stress better. Will try a better catch up after I deal with this.

Mileymoocow · 12/10/2016 12:01

Oh may bloody hell that's not what you need!!

potato definitely not! No way should you run round after him. Good on you putting your foot down.

Reassuring to know the acne is common but how dare these spots appear on gorgeous soft baby skin?! Angry

Just back from baby clinic and Harrison has put a whole lb on and is now 8lb 15oz!! Where has my lickle preemie gone?!

leoniethelioness · 12/10/2016 12:37

Yay, Harrison! Theo was 8lbs 11oz so a similar size. He's 7 weeks old! A girl I used to work with had a baby boy this week - 8lbs 13oz! No wonder people think I'm brave taking my "newborn" out already!

Nevlet · 12/10/2016 13:33

I have a chunky monkey Bodhi is 12lb4!!!

Co5mo · 12/10/2016 13:38

Lovely to hear about the growing babe's.

I'm sorry about the car May. Hopefully ou can get it sorted.

Lillian how are you doing today?

So i was 1cm dilated, this morning. Midwife has reswept and now have backache. Keep your fingers crossed she's done the job.

PotatosMum · 12/10/2016 13:39

Leonie sorry you had a disturbed night.

Mayo oh no to car being stolen! What a nightmare. I hope you get it sorted quickly.

Miley yay! For the good weight gain. That's excellent! It is a mixed blessing when they start growing well. I think it's fantastic how well Arya's growing but it's also so sad that she's growing so quickly. It seems like in no time at all she'll be a toddler.

Sat in the Drs waiting for my 6 week appointment. I got here really early and have ended up chatting with an old lady about babies for about 20 minutes.

Does anyone else's LO look like she could teeth any minute? Arya has white marks on her gums where the teeth will come through and after examining them they are rock hard and sharp or as sharp as gum can be I spoke to the HV about it but she was very vague and didn't even look at Arya's mouth but then attributed absolutely anything I mentioned to her to teething.
I don't think I'm a fan of my HV, she seems a bit airy fairy.

PotatosMum · 12/10/2016 13:40

Cosmo ooo that sounds promising Grin

Mileymoocow · 12/10/2016 14:16

Oh my God! I keep looking at Harrison now he's past his due date and keep thinking there's no way I could push him out haha! Well done theo! I think Harrison is going to be really chunky as he's putting on 1lb a week average now and has jumped from 9th to 25th centile. Our little ones are thriving Grin you should be so proud

Mileymoocow · 12/10/2016 14:21

Ok app is plating funny buggers so missed a bit!

nev that's amazing! How old us Bodhi again? My cousins little one is 10 weeks and 13.5lb!

co5mo everything crossed for you! Good luck.

potato my other pusins little boy started teething at 10 weeks! It could be possible!

Nevlet · 12/10/2016 15:00

Miley 6 weeks. He is on 91st centile. He isnt chubby at all just very long he is barely in 0-3 sleepsuits now as they are tight over his feet. Not surprised at his length as his Dads pushing 6 and a half foot.

Managed to clean all of downstairs wash beds and do all adult and baby clothes washing. Am off to big shopping centre couple of hours away tomorrow and then packing all gear for holiday into camper on friday so only chance today. I was a hero and invited MIL over to see Bodhi as she hasnt since weekend and while she had him managed to get all hoovering done. She dusted everywhere while i fed him.

Now to try and make and eat lunch with a very awake little dude

Mileymoocow · 12/10/2016 15:26

nev I'm in awe. We've been to baby clinic, shopping for tea, done a load of washing, hoovering and we're now playing on the baby gym and I thought that was impressive! Bodhi is a brilliant weight! Harrison is tall too, but is quite chubby in his face

Miley he looks just like you in those pictures! Adorable!

LillianFullStop · 12/10/2016 15:52

Indi glad section scar is healing well!

potato good that you're establishing things with DSS - he can't just expect you to know and do things for him like his mother does. The least he could have done was ask instead of just dumping it there and assuming!

sorry to be the bearer of bad news marmite the multiple wees overnight doesn't get better in T2 and T3 Confused

Leonie a day at home resting instead of going out is good if you're not up for more! You're body is probably telling you to grab all the rest it can!

Congrats on T2 may!!! Hope car worries works out.

Miley and Nev so glad Harrison and Bodhi both gaining good weight!

Cosmo pretty uneventful over here! Hope things move along after your sweep. I have one on Monday.

After all the energy being out and about I am actually feeling like the opposite today! Feeling not bothered and so lethargic. Just woke from a 2 hour nap Confused and have done nothing all day! Going to make myself leave the house for some fresh air in a minute.

Had cramps during the night and this morning but it all disappeared once I got out of bed. Increased discharge overnight too - not the usual opaque I've had throughout but thinner and more watery - sorry if TMI! Not sure if it means something or nothing though - every symptom I've had has been 'Could be or could be not' it's driving me mad!!

LisaTheSimpson · 12/10/2016 15:54

Nev, I can't believe Bodhi is so big! He sounds like he's doing so well.

And Miley, Harrison too! A lb a week, bloody hell! Grin Love the little hamster cheeks

You are both impressive. Super impressed with how much you're getting done each day.

So Quinn's stump has dropped off today. Is it supposed to be really manky underneath?? I think I thought it would be a nice little belly button Blush. Assume there is more healing to do?

Nevlet · 12/10/2016 16:04

Lisa thanks- we achieved nothing yesterday he was too hot and screamed and beat me all day. Today he is super happy and chilled so I got stuff done. We are lucky and have a lot of good days and a day like yesterday is rare! Think it was neatish once stump came off but bled on his clothes a teeny bit for a couple days but was more where they rubbed it than actual bleeding if that makes sense

Mileymoocow · 12/10/2016 16:18

lisa Harrisons was a little bit ming - dried yellowish gunky stuff needed cleaned out daily for a while! I also got absolutely nothing done yesterday so am making up for it today!

lillian it sounds so frustrating! I'm keeping everything crossed for you!

Aw do you think nev? You're the 2nd person to say that today, I think now he's filled out he's a little more like me but when he was a couple of weeks old he was the image of his dad! The photos are him at 2 weeks and dad when he was born! They even have the same little bum chin

Mileymoocow · 12/10/2016 16:47

I can see it now a bit Grin

LillianFullStop · 12/10/2016 16:58

Miley those pics!!! StarStarStarStarStar I read somewhere babies look like their fathers when they are first born - apparently harks back to our primate roots so the father will accept the newborn as his own. Who knows if there is any truth to it!

I think my frustration stems from me expecting this baby to come at 38w - based on both my mum and sis giving birth to all their kids at 38w and my DH and his siblings were all early at 34 and 36w. I should just expect to make it to 40w and I won't be so frustrated right? Right? Nope the self psychology hasn't worked I'm still expecting it this week lol Envy

BunchOfBobs · 12/10/2016 21:13

Miley Bodhi looks so like you in those pics. So cute!

Lillian that all sounds positive, sounds like your body giving you the encouragement to rest before the big event.

Lisa Little A's belly button took a while to dry up, you can bathe it in salted cooled
boiled water and air it as much as possible to speed it up.

I'm not going to go into the whole PIL and DH stress. I'm sure most of it is me being unreasonable it so isn't but the more I think about it the more wound up I get and it's not healthy for me to be so angry about it still. Also I would like to be able to have a conversation with DH without being an angry cowbag. Suffice to say they've chose my SIL/ her kids over DH/ Atticus I.e they can't possibly visit Atticus more than every 6 weeks because they babysit for her and DH doesn't seem to be one bit bothered. Angry

PotatosMum · 12/10/2016 21:53

Miley that's fantastic news about Harrison's weight gains and those pictures are so cute Smile. I know what you mean about looking at your baby and thinking nope couldn't do that now. I can't believe some women have babies as big as Arya is now. I would have split in half!!!

In now totally convinced Arya is teething. She's been fussy all evening and drooling and nibbling anything she can. I shall be nipping out to get her a teething ring and something for her gums tomorrow. Poor sausage Sad

Nev you are superwoman doing all that cleaning!!!

Lilluan to be fair the agreement is I'll wash his clothes if he brings them down but his dad has now made sure he knows he can't leave it until the day before he needs it and needs to let me know if he specifically needs something by a finite date... We'll get there Smile

You have my sympathies on not knowing if things are symptoms or not. The las few weeks of pregnancy are like the two week wait all over again!

Lisa what do you mean manky? It shouldn't be pussy or look like an open wound but it'll be a couple of weeks before it turns into a pretty little belly button.

Bunch that situation sounds really maddening but you're right, as you can't change it its best to try and let it go as otherwise the only person you're hurting is you now if I could only take my own advice!!

Drs today was good. They did the same tests on Arya that they did when she was born and she passed with flying colours Grin

IndiX · 13/10/2016 08:25

Morning ladies,

It's my birthday today Grin DH has spoilt me with some beautiful gifts and Autumn slept pretty well last night, up at 1.30-2.15 and 5.15-6 and she's still sleeping now sleep was the best gift.

I think I'm developing mastitis though. My right boob is hot, red, tender and feels like there's a rock in there. I don't feel ill though so I'm hoping if I massage and express/feed enough it may go away on its own. I see the midwife on Saturday so I'll see how it is by then.

Miley gorgeous pics, he's so alert! And his hair is just amazing.

Congrats on tri 2 may. Tri 2 is definitely the nicest stage of pregnancy.

Lillian it's so hard not to think every twinge could be labour. I didn't want it to be coz of my elcs but I'm really hoping things pick up for you and you get to see your baby very soon!

Cosmo happy due date! Wishing you lots of luck for your induction today ( I think it is today)

Leonie hope you got a better night's sleep. Sleep deprivation really does make you feel terrible.

Sorry to anyone I've missed. Me, my mum and Autumn are going for an afternoon tea today and I'm going to get my nails done. I think we'll just be having a cosy night tonight. Hope you all have a lovely day x

LillianFullStop · 13/10/2016 09:21

Happy birthday indi!!! Well done on DH managing to organise lovely gifts in the midst of Autumns arrival. Hope you get spoilt more as the day goes on it's early yet! Afternoon tea sounds lovely. Hope the sore boob gets better and doesn't turn into mastitis.

Potato Arya sounds like she's really doing well! She knows how to please those doctors Smile did she get her jabs today too?

bunch that sounds like a frustrating situation! but agree best not to work yourself up too much about it and just focus on your little growing boy.

Thanks for the encouragement all! I've had a pretty uneventful and easy pregnancy and I'm finding this waiting the most frustrating part! Last night I had very regular BH followed by cramps and I was sure it was about to kick off this time. But nope. Nothing again now!

Cheering you on Co5mo! at least I'll know I won't be long after you Smile

Anyone heard from planet?

AudreyBradshaw · 13/10/2016 10:34

Happy Birthday indi !! 😊🎂🎊🎉🎀👑💟🍦🌹🎁🍰 hope you've not got mastitis, you poor thing!

I do love seeing all the pics of tiny bambinos growing into little chunks!

Hopefully you'll be meeting your baby soon lillian fingers crossed it gets started soon!

co5mo thinking of you today! Hope all goes well!

Aww love her potato my dm says she used to wet a corner of a flannel and freeze it and then give it to us to suck on when we were teething.

bunch leave them to it, bollocks to them, how bloody rude, frustrating and awful for you though. Flowers

I'm forgetting people to write to here, my head is like a sieve and I'm spending half my time in a fog of confusion! 34 week midwife appt yesterday. Baby's head is in the brim of my pelvis, she said me feeling all the pressure down low at the front was baby's head tipping into being the start of engaged and then bobbing back up again. Measuring fine, heart beat nice and strong and definetly have a little raver in there! We bought a cot! Woohoo! Going to put it up next week when Dh is on days. Thanks to all for the kindness, he's been a grumpy sod all week cause he's emotionally/physically/mentally drained but once he gets into the swing of things I'm sure he'll relax. ☺ fingers crossed anyway!

Thanks guys. Just checking in from delivery suite. I was contracting before we arrived so no induction needed unless things slow down.
