How awful for you guys suffering from sickness. I've had nausea in the evenings but nothing as bad as described on here. I hope it goes for you all soon.
Had my booking in appointment yesterday, really boring, just loads of questions on my two previous births. I've been classed as high risk so will see a consultant at 20 weeks. Even though ive has two emcs im still living in hope for a natural delivery, foolish perhaps, but i can dream! Have my scan booked for 7th October and 16 week appointment booked also. Very excited now!

jpeg28 · 17/09/2016 09:31

Hope you had a lovely evening daisy!

Knitting I'm so sorry you feel so crap. Vent away to us... We know how it feels! It's so hard when no one knows and I know how you feel about husbands/boyfriends not understanding.... My OH keeps getting annoyed with me for always feeling tired and shit... You try growing a human inside you!!! Saying that... Fingers x in starting to feel slightly better! 9+2 today and hoping the nausea is getting better!

Jaffa I've had bleeding in this pregnancy, not a lot but some, had tons of brown spotting too and everything is fine. I've seen tons of different stats but basically lots of people bleed in pregnancy. Do you have any cramping? And do you mind saying what colour it is?? I'm sure everything is completely fine but I know how worrying it is.

Jaffacakes1234 · 17/09/2016 09:42

Hi jpeg
Thanks for the reply it was red yesterday but now a sort of diluted pinky. Bit of cramping when I have been bfing my 18 month old and now I'm avoiding feeds and he's grumpy with me :-(

jpeg28 · 17/09/2016 09:54

Oh Jaffa that must be so hard when you have him to look after too. Do you have an EPU that's open on a Saturday? Just to put your mind at ease? Try and rest as much as possible.

Jaffacakes1234 · 17/09/2016 10:01

jpeg I rang them yesterday and they said the soonest they could see me was Monday, unless it was really heavy then go to a and e. So no I don't think they'll see me til Monday. I'm caught between wanting to put myself in bed rest and feel sorry for myself and getting the house to show home status to distract myself, neither can happen as dh is at work and I have 3 kids 5 and under. I had a sickness bug earlier in the week, wondering if I could have strained something? Just need the next 48 hours to pass quickly as I'm assuming the worst :-(

jpeg28 · 17/09/2016 10:14

Wow 3 under 5!! You could have strained something.... Have you exercised or anything lately? Least they are seeing you Monday, must be so hard to try and rest... As soon as your DH is home from work get to bed! Keeping fingers x for you.

Jaffacakes1234 · 17/09/2016 10:43

Thank you, they are 5, 4 and 18 months.
I don't exercise as such but do a lot of walking and work in a very physical job in the evenings, and of course chasing round after 3 young kids is a workout. Been off most this week though as a sickness bug worked through the whole family. Just want Monday to hurry up :-( thanks for the support X

abercorn · 17/09/2016 10:56

Jaffa, sorry to hear... Monday wait can be v frustrating.
Try watching a favorite movie or go and get nails done to take your mind away from the anxiety...
Good luck dear.

Helbelle75 · 17/09/2016 14:30

We saw a wiggly little baby with ickle hands and legs. Saw and heard the heartbeat. Measuring 10 weeks 2 days. Perfect!

MrsRhubarb · 17/09/2016 14:43

That must be so worrying Jaffa, fingers crossed the scan will show everything to be okay.

How wonderful Helbelle

SharkBastard · 17/09/2016 14:43

Aww congratulations Hell, wonderful news

Hope you can rest as much as possible Jaffa

BellaSxx · 17/09/2016 15:44

Hello, I hope you don't mind if I join you ladies Grin I'm due 27th April with my first and couldn't be more excited. This is all new to me so I'll be monitoring this thread and hope that we can all share the journey with one another! Flowers

Theknittinggorilla · 17/09/2016 16:25

You are all lovely.
Sending love jaffa and hope Monday comes quickly
Lovely scan news hel
Welcome belle!

Theknittinggorilla · 17/09/2016 16:25

Sorry welcome bella!

Jaffacakes1234 · 17/09/2016 16:46

Hi bella :-)

Niks2026 · 17/09/2016 17:33

Jaffa I've had spotting this pregnancy and weird crampy feelings. This is my 3rd baby and this pregnancy is nothing like my other 2. I've booked an early scan as my GP doesn't think there is anything to worry about. Fingers crossed everything is fine for you xx

Bella welcome :)

Lovely news hell

Jaffacakes1234 · 17/09/2016 17:54

niks thanks for that- one of the things worrying me is this never happened in my other 3 pregnancies. The only difference this time is I've had a section (baby 3, 1 and 2 were natural) so wondering if that changes things.
They said there was no medical reason to scan me but offered to anyway so I guess I'm pretty lucky. Sorry your gp wasn't as understanding.

ChatEnOeuf · 17/09/2016 18:26

Grrr...t'Internet ate my long post. Summary: Hand holding Jaffa
Zika is an ass, and has ruined my half term plans too.
My workmates are lovely and kept me fed, watered and helped me find seats to work on when feeling shitty
I'm now officially old
Welcome newbies
Little bump, mostly made of pasta. Trousers held together by hair bobbles
Still nauseous at 10w...it was at least 14w before it settled down first time, 16w last time, so I expect I'm in for the long haul.

Avengerhart85 · 17/09/2016 18:48

Easier said than done jaffa but try not to worry...I have had to have 2 scans due to bleeding/spotting this pregnancy (my 2nd) and both times the bean was fine, couldn't see where it's coming from & said to rest, no swimming, no exercise etc for 3 weeks...mine has been brown/pink and they said possibly coming from cervix after loop diathermy treatment.
Try to get your feet up if that's possible & I hope Monday comes quick for you Flowers

MumiTravels · 17/09/2016 21:19

Hi ladies.

Just a flying visit from me again. Just caught up whilst scoffing my tea(cheerios Grin).

They also couldn't tell where my bleeding was coming from and it only tailed off last week. Try and do something nice with the littlies tomorrow to take your mind off it.

I'm struggling to hide it in work. The portable xray came onto my ward today and I had to make a swift departure and find myself busy in the treatment room even though it was for my patient. Various bugs about too and some weird ones so had to have a check what I'm allowed near and not Confused. One of the nurses that I haven't seen for a few weeks was on tonight and she looked at me a bit strange when I sat down, not sure if pot belly was noticed.

I'm waiting for DH to get in then I'm off to sleep ready for round 3 tomorrow. Enjoy your day tomorrow girls.

choccybiscuit · 17/09/2016 23:06

Sorry to hear jaffa I think we crossed posts. I've had pretty much constant spotting and I never had it with my first two like this. It's such a worry but the midwife said we are producing so much more blood and sometime we just spot but mostly it's harmless. Good luck for tomorrow. I've just dropped my eldest at university.....I've never cried so much Sad

Jaffacakes1234 · 18/09/2016 04:02

Passing clots now and feeling crampy, going to see if the epu will see me in the morning but I'm not feeling positive :-(
