Number4OnTheWay

Pregnancy hormones in full swing over here too. feeling very sorry for DH atm!

needtoloseastone · 08/09/2016 11:43

Hi ladies
I have been dizzy and having palpitations for a few days now so went to EPU turns out I'm 11 +4 today blood pressure was low and I'm in a and e waiting for iv fluids 😩

summerskittles91 · 08/09/2016 11:58

oh no needtoloseastone Hope you feel better soon. Good to know EPU is looking out for you. x

choccybiscuit · 08/09/2016 12:03

I hope you feel better soon needto! How far along did you think you were?

Puggleface · 08/09/2016 12:57

Hope you're OK needto Yes, how far along did you think you were? Hope you're on the mend soon.

I called and chased my 12 week scan date as I was refered 4 weeks ago and hadn't heard anything! I've now got my appointment for the 30th September. on the 2 week countdown! Its like the 2WW all over again!

Feeling surpringly fine today. I can't remember who said about have 2 really shitty days and then 2 much better days? I've got a wedding on a boat on the Thames on Saturday so i hope i'm not feeling too rough for that, but i could always blame it on sea sickness instead of MS!

Number4OnTheWay · 08/09/2016 13:10

Oh no need to loose! I hope your seen quickly and on the mend soon cx

Bubbinsmakesthree · 08/09/2016 13:26

needtoloose - hope the fluids perk you up, feel better soon! Flowers

My nausea has been unrelenting all day. Am supposed to be going camping this weekend but questioning the wisdom! Feel bad letting people down though...

SharkBastard · 08/09/2016 13:35

Oh dear Loose, hope you feel better after the hydration!

Not sure I could camp, Bubbins. I found glamping hard enough last week, the idea of being away from my sofa or bed fills me with dread. I get waves of nausea in the morning, but nothing too bad, then come 1pm I start going downhill then hit the horror at 7:30pm...It's really hard isn't it? All good signs though as they keep bloody telling me ;)

Respect to all staff on their feet all day when pregnant...sitting at my desk at work is hard enough, the thought of walking about looking after other people is not the one!!!

MyGreenSofa · 08/09/2016 14:23

We are going away in under 2 weeks to Canada which I'm no longer looking forward to as I would much rather sleep! 8 hour flights with a 2 year old too. Sad

Had to throw loads of food away out of my fridge earlier that had gone out of date because I couldn't bear to eat it! Don't think I'm going to bother trying to plan any meals for next week, just don't fancy anything!

Number4OnTheWay · 08/09/2016 14:24

Bubbins I found camping so hard last week, my sickness has got worse since then, there's no way I could do it now.
I take my hat of to everyone who is working and pregnant, I don't know how you manage. I've just woken up to a trashed house after I fell asleep on the sofa for 30 minutes Blush off to tidy and then pick up the big one from school before negotiating a supermarket with 3 tired, hangry kids Hmm

Number4OnTheWay · 08/09/2016 14:26

Mygreen, I'm off to salt lake on the 23rd, a solo trip all by myself. I'm looking forward to it, but the flights? No thanks!!

jobrum · 08/09/2016 14:50

Blugggghh! Blugh! After the success of yesterdats crisps I munched down another pack today which I then spent ten minutes puking into the loo. Then I walked past a colleague eating somekind of egg salad as I was leaving. Inconsiderate! No more sick today thank you!

needto poor you. Hope you feel better for it.

summerskittles91 · 08/09/2016 15:56

croissants are my saviour atm. having like 4 a day Blush

MyGreenSofa · 08/09/2016 16:04

Bakery cheese twists are my thing skittles. But obviously the 2 shops near me have decided they're not going to make them anymore whenever I check! Instead they have vanilla cream crowns. Like I can eat that! Angry

SharkBastard · 08/09/2016 16:39

I've had to chuck loads of food out, and each meal is a chore as I just don't fancy anything. Poor DH has been cooking for the last 2 weeks and I've had about 5 mouthfuls each meal then cry cause I'm so sick of not enjoying food! I was never like this with my daughter

Will start meal planning again when this nausea has passed, till then it's pointless and a waste of money!

abeandhalo · 08/09/2016 17:18

I must be like 50% made of digestive biscuits by now. Partner and I decided to have a big lunch in the bar at work today as we were both out exercising tonight, and then I spent about an hour at my desk trying not to throw up chicken, mash & veg. Why is everything gross.

jobrum · 08/09/2016 17:28

Everything keeps changing too. What I think helps does not the next time I eat it.

What are vanilla cream crowns? I want one!

Number4OnTheWay · 08/09/2016 17:31

I just went to the supermarket Shock that was a mistake. Spent a lot of money and didn't even buy any actual meals for the kids, just lots of crappy stuff to get me through the day!!

Anyone help me with this dilemma. I have a scan booked for 9.45 at our local hospital. I really want to be at the scan, obviously! My dd's have an assembly tonorrow morning at 9.15. I already told the girls I would go :( what do I do??? Move the scan appointment and have to wait longer or let my dd's down? Its not possible to do both the hospital is a 15 minute drive away and I'll have to part the car 10 minute walk from school. Which would you do?

Bubbinsmakesthree · 08/09/2016 17:34

I just had about an hour of feeling normal, thinking yeah I can totally do this camping! Aaaand now the nausea is back.

I have to shop for food on a daily basis because what I want to eat is entirely unpredictable. I bought spring rolls last night because I really wanted spring rolls (and I never eat spring rolls). Ended up not eating them as we went out instead - do I want to eat spring rolls tonight? Of course not!

MrsRhubarb · 08/09/2016 17:34

Needto hope everything is okay and you feel better soon.

Cried into tea as I caught up with The Archers while cooking. Poor Helen! I think Tuesday nights would have got me even if I wasn't pregnant, so I'm going to let that one pass. DD has been a monster today, it has been trying.

MrsRhubarb · 08/09/2016 17:39

Arg, tough one Number4! I suppose you could try and move the scan, they might have so last minute cancellations so not move you far, or turn up for scan really late after assembly and blag that this is the time you were told and hope that they squeeze you in, or explain to the girls that you have an appointment (doctors or dentist if you haven't told them about baby) which you have to go to and you're really sorry as you would much rather be with them. Buy them chocolate after school.

needtoloseastone · 08/09/2016 17:54

Hi everyone
Thanks for your well wishes, I feel tons better turns out the palpitations and low blood pressure was caused by quite severe dehydration so I had 2 litres of iv fluids and feel much better although hasn't helped the sickness
Lovely surprise as I thought I was 10 +4 but I will be 12 weeks on Sunday 😊. I would add all you lovely ladies that are struggling to keep fluids down try drinking the sports lucazade with some water the doc said it's pretty good substitute for iv

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 08/09/2016 17:58

Just checking in!

My EDD is 30th April and I feel so far behind everyone else!

Booked my midwife booking in appointment. It's a week on Monday. 19th.

I forgot how much the first tri drags!

Hope everyone is ok

MrsRhubarb · 08/09/2016 18:02

Wherethefuck, my EDD is the 9th of April but my booking in isn't until the 20th of September, so you're ahead of me there. Dragging isn't even the word!

jpeg28 · 08/09/2016 18:11

Hope the fluids helped needto and hope you're feeling better.

Today has been up and down. I'm so exhausted and have no patience with the kids!! But less sick than yesterday which is good. However I feel humongous!! My legs and bum seem so much fatter already. Sad

number4 that's tough! Move the scan??
