Still no physical symptoms but I have turned into a crazy woman. We're still on holiday in beautiful surroundings but for some reason I went absolutely mad at DH earlier on a train and then started crying and then shouted at DH some more while locals looked on, bemused. I honestly can't remember what it was about. I think he trod on my toe?! I remember very nearly storming off and leaving him but then didn't because only I speak the language and there aren't many English speakers here...

MyGreenSofa · 06/09/2016 18:14

Naranciata - sounds like a good case of preggo rage to me! I had it awfully with DD. Regularly had a go at complete strangers. DH was mortified, and also often on the receiving end. One of my worst outbursts was throwing the sky remote at the wall (narrowly missing some decorative glass bottles) but DH said he thought I was going to throw it at him!

Jaffacakes1234 · 06/09/2016 19:25

hummingbird100 that's my hopeful plan by January. How old are your other nurselings? Mine is 17 months and feeds like a newborn Confused

Celen · 06/09/2016 19:30

Oh yeah, my mood swings are off the charts - like massive PMT every day. When are you coming home naranciata?

Hope it turns out to be nothing significant, Sloane.

My 12w scan and consultant appt are being booked directly by the recurrent miscarriage team. Otherwise, the MW calls up and it comes in the post.

Helbelle75 · 06/09/2016 20:23

Hi everyone, just checkong in. This thread moves quickly!
Sorry to hear about those with annoying mils, horrid symptoms and bleeding. Fingers crossed things improve.
I've been back at work this week, thoroughly exhausted but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Even more exhausted as I keep getting up at a for a wee and not being able to go back to sleep. The scan place nearest to us is closed until 24th September so that's the early scan out of the window unless I travel about an hour .

hummingbird100 · 06/09/2016 21:01

jaffacakes my son turned 2 in July, he's currently arsing about downstairs instead of being asleep upstairs - he must be going through a developmental leap as he's a nightmare sleeper the last couple of weeks! I didn't initially have a date in mind to stop, I just naively assumed he'd stop sometime after he turned 1. It is taking its toll though, left nip has a crack in and both are very sensitive. Are your boobs bearing up ok?

MumiTravels · 06/09/2016 21:13

Just had a quick catch up as been in work for 13 hours today. It was sweltering on the ward. Bath and bed for me ready for another day in paradise tomorrow. I'm enjoying cereal with cold milk at the minute.

I can't get ny wedding ring off. Anyone elses fingers swollen already?

SussexTeacher · 06/09/2016 21:37

Mumi Yes to swollen fingers, I thought it was just because I've been stuffing my face that my rings wouldn't fit! I've not even been wearing my engagement and wedding rings for the past 3 weeks.

jpeg sorry to hear your day was rubbish. Are you secondary as well? I told my headteacher and deputy head about pregnancy. I'm not going to tell my team until after my scan though.

Is this anyone else's first child? Starting to get a bit jealous of all you lovely ladies that will know exactly what to do!

MumiTravels · 06/09/2016 21:58

I've still got it on but it won't be for much longer. My boobs are like gala melons too so think I'm just a bit swollen everwhere. Its not fat as my uniform and jeans still fit..just.

Night night ladies. Hope you insomniacs get some sleep.

Jaffacakes1234 · 06/09/2016 22:23

hummingbird100 I can't boob him to sleep as easily, think there's less milk, but i still see milk and he still seems happy enough. I need to get the night feeds under control (1-2 hourly!) cause I can't feed two of them all night. My older two had stopped by this age so I don't really know what to expect, I'm ok with tandeming but not all night!

Guess your two year old is more verbal about the milk situation, does he say anything?
There's a group on Facebook called breastfeeding older babies and beyond you might be interested in.

Jaffacakes1234 · 06/09/2016 22:26

Oh and forgot to say I have no cracks or soreness but I suffer with Vasospasm so feeding is never pain free so it may be my standards are low on the expecting pain front.

Hayls17 · 06/09/2016 22:28

sussex this is my first child too. And to be honest I've never spent much time around babies, I'm the first in my close friendship group to have a baby and I don't really have any younger relatives. I'm scared as hell but overjoyed at the same time!

abercorn · 06/09/2016 22:30

Hello All,
Checking in. Dont feel any symptoms thus far, have taken the test thrice and +ve each time!
Just realised when i went to doc today that i have to decide on a hospital soon!
its really happening :)

Bubbinsmakesthree · 07/09/2016 05:16

Ugh - wide awake here having got up to pee, then to be sick, then to make myself some toast to stop myself feeling sick.

sarahhh1984 · 07/09/2016 06:02

Sussex, it's mine and DH's first child too. We're also both the first out of our immediate families (and, in my case, extended family of cousins) to have a little one so we've not spent much time with babies/kids in family situations. I spend time semi-regularly with my friends' kids but that doesn't make it any less terrifying!

Abacha · 07/09/2016 06:03

This thread is moving really fast. Hope everyone is ok. I had a scan yesterday and I was able to hear the heart beats of both babies. It was really special.

I seem to have fallen off the list, can some one add me please

Due 12th April dc#1 and dc#2 (2nd pregnancy)

Am I the only one expecting twins? That part hasn't sunk in yet

hummingbird100 · 07/09/2016 06:18

jaffacakes aw the 1-2 hourly is a killer! I had gently night weaned using the Jay Gordon method at about 16mo but he had a regression around 20mo and was needing feeding in the night again. He can ask for 'mowk!' but he manages fine without me at nursery or if he's with my husband, so I know he'll be ok with 2 feeds a day - the whinging usually wears me down though!

hummingbird100 · 07/09/2016 06:25

I live near a sweet/chocolate factory...usually I love the chocolatey wafery smells wafting in but they're making me feel really queasy this morning Confused

abeandhalo · 07/09/2016 07:00

Argh I'm going crazy. I feel sick if I don't eat frequently but the list of food that appeals to me is getting shorter and shorter. It's impossible for me to plan what lunch I'm going to take to work or what tea to cook when I get home as I'm off it by the time we get there.

I hope this ends soon. Any advice appreciated.

SharkBastard · 07/09/2016 07:08

I'm the same abean...it's really horrible. I love food, we had a Chinese last night as it was our 2nd wedding anniversary but I could barely eat it. It all tasted bland and dry. I couldn't even eat the yummy dessert my husband had bought us!

I have to force myself to eat certain things and I'm fast running out of options

Sickness is worse for me in the evenings now. Can barely cope with it! First day back at work yesterday and come 1pm I'm starting to get ill and seriously flag

Hope everyone is OK

ScandiManny · 07/09/2016 07:58

Sickness seems to be hitting me harder in the evenings too Shark. It's strange, I'm so hungry constantly but there is nothing I want to eat.

Dating scan this morning. I'm terrified. We're in at 9am so not too long to wait thankfully.

Puggleface · 07/09/2016 08:19

Oh good luck with your scan scandi is this your 12 week scan? Can't believe they are coming round so quickly! Wish I had a date for mine!!

Yes to the nausea all the time and not being able to make a pack lunch or know what to have for dinner! Last night I had some wonderful beans on toast which really hit the spot much more than the 4 dry cream crackers I had the night before! Shock

Bubbinsmakesthree · 07/09/2016 08:22

Good luck with scan scandi

Still feeling really sick this morning - getting the late train to the office and hope I have perked up a bit by then as I have a long day of meetings ahead - sob!

My sickness is usually worse mornings and evenings. Last night wasn't too bad but it has really hit me in the middle of the night to compensate.

hummingbird - smell of chocolate must be torture. I walk past a food market on my way to work and there's a stall that sells soup - the smell absolutely turns my stomach.

I think DH has told his niece who is staying with us that I am pregnant. To be fair it was becoming really obvious, but I am still pissed off.

Welshy11 · 07/09/2016 08:26

Morning ladies this thread moves fast. Good luck to all those with scans and fingers crossed to all those who have bleeding! Had a scan last week and me assured 6w3d with a hb. since then I've lost all boob soreness and am freaking out. It has been replaced by occasional nausea and crying but does anyone else have fluctuating symptoms because I'm getting worried x
