I don't know what I'm doing but seen the message saying another thread was needed. I don't know what to add to this but though.

Erm. I'm Derek btw. 35 week on Thursday and due 6/10/16

Sorry but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

Morning all the hospital said it sounded like the start of my show and didn't want to see me unless my waters go or having regular contractions

Had a few mild pains this morning and no more blood

Kariana · 08/10/2016 08:59

That's good Fresh, at least they weren't worried. Hope things ramp up for you and Derek soon! What's your latest date again from previous dc?

Afreshstartplease · 08/10/2016 09:00

39+4 is latest I've gone

I'm now 38+3

DerekSprechenZeDick · 08/10/2016 09:09

That good!

I thought labour had started last night. Couldn't sleep due to pain then eased off. Woke me at half 6 though and eased off again.

Comes and goes.

Glad all is ok fresh! your LO seems intent on breaking a record but I hope he/she will settle for a tie!

exciting for Monday kariana!!** Wonder if anyone on the board will beat you to it this weekend?

Afreshstartplease · 08/10/2016 09:59

Yes all DC have been born between 38+2 and 39+4 so I'm definitely not expecting I'll go over hopefully

To be honest I think it'll be before Tuesday that's my prediction!

Dizzy08 · 08/10/2016 10:32

Due date today.. don't think I'll be one of the 5% that actually give birth on Due date though had some mild cramps this morning but nothing to get excited about! I think I'll be heading for sweep no.2 on Tuesday at least before he shifts.

Dizzy08 · 08/10/2016 10:33

Really glad to hear it was nothing to worry about fresh

Afreshstartplease · 08/10/2016 10:39

Thanks

Dull back ache here

Think I'll spend the day trying to get organised just incase

derryjojo · 08/10/2016 12:10

Glad everything is ok Fresh.

37 weeks today.

Afreshstartplease · 08/10/2016 12:14

Derry maybe they wanted to check your bleeding and not mine because you were before 37 weeks so preterm

derryjojo · 08/10/2016 14:23

I was told to contact them if I am worried about anything and they will see me. Even if it's a few times a week.

Afreshstartplease · 08/10/2016 15:53

That good derry

My local hospital tend to make me feel like a pain, luckily I've never been overly concerned about anything

I really hate the way they are so patronising when you phone to say your in labour and coming in. I got really pissed off last time at them asking if I was sure and suggesting things I could do at home. It was my third baby. And low and behold I arrived at 7cm. I might not even phone this time.

DerekSprechenZeDick · 08/10/2016 22:10

I keep thinking it's happening and it just ain't

I've have stabby pains in groin and abdomen. I've got period pains in back and front. My side feels like there are mini daggers in but nothing to make me think it's actually starting

Any babies over night?

Nothing here. Pinkish watery discharge on waking and a few dull period pains though

Figgygal · 09/10/2016 07:57

No signs of anything happening here 5 days late dying of cold this morning so want baby to stay put. I'm mentally prepared for another week of this and being induced next Sunday.

Afreshstartplease · 09/10/2016 07:58

I'm getting a bit fed up of having little 'signs' that then amount to nothing
I'm so uncomfortable!

Dizzy08 · 09/10/2016 08:28

40+1

Nothing. I could hardly even sit last night for the sharp stabby pain from one area of the pelvis or other. Felt like I was squashing his head or something everytime I tried to sit or lie. But no contractions. Fed up.

Afreshstartplease · 09/10/2016 08:30

See I feel a bit bad for moaning because I'm not overdue technically.....I'm only 38+4, but I've had a baby by 38+2 before damn it!

Figgygal · 09/10/2016 08:33

See it helps ds was born at 40+13 after being induced so have been prepared for this happening

Dizzy08 · 09/10/2016 08:34

Don't feel bad Fresh you have an expectation based on previous experience. It's my first so whose to say he is really even due yet at all! It could be next week or even later really. Least you know what your body has done in the past! Argh I hope I don't have to wait till 42 weeks!!

Afreshstartplease · 09/10/2016 08:37

I did this last time though I should know better

Baby no3 was born at 39+3, but none of this cramping, bloody show nonsense. Just straight into full blown labour. If I wasn't being constantly teased with signs I think I could cope lol

Fraggleface · 09/10/2016 08:39

I've had waves of nausea / shivering and clearing out the other end since yesterday afternoon. Woken up with sore top of bump but no real contractions as such. Getting so fed up of feeling so crap. 5 days over today Sad. Also 1st baby so no idea what to expect.

Afreshstartplease · 09/10/2016 08:41

Fraggle that sounds really rubbish Cake

Hopefully it's a good sign though

Fraggleface · 09/10/2016 08:43

Thanks fresh. It's the frantic googling of early labour signs that is sending me slowly insane. Do some people actually feel relatively normal / no pains / twinges etc and then just go into labour?!
