I don't know what I'm doing but seen the message saying another thread was needed. I don't know what to add to this but though.

Erm. I'm Derek btw. 35 week on Thursday and due 6/10/16

Sorry but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

I'm a few weeks behind you Derek, at 37+2. If it makes you feel any better, I'll probably still be waiting long after you're having lovely newborn snuggles. Provided you can evict her, of course!

I've had back ache all day, and on off period pain type cramps interspersed with heartburn. And I felt a pop in my pubic bone area yesterday when chasing after DS. I look like a weeble at the moment - running is not good!

Figgygal · 06/10/2016 21:29

Had my first post due date "when are you due" enquiry today from lady on tills in Tesco the look of pity you get when you say 3 days ago makes me laugh and cry at same time.

Kariana · 06/10/2016 23:18

Taffeta I thought that about them shaving me anyway and thought it was a bit strange being told not too. On the other hand it's decided to itch like crazy so wish I hadn't done it. My pre-op is tomorrow because they can't do it more than three days in advance here. Good luck for yours Monday too!

Derek flu symptoms are supposed to be a sign of impending labour. This might be good news!

Dh told MIL about the section date and she apparently asked if she could sit in the waiting room so she could meet the baby afterwards Hmm Luckily dh told her no because he knew I wouldn't want it but he actually still thinks it's normal to have people waiting in the waiting room whilst you're giving birth. I've tried to explain it isn't but he won't have it!

Tallblue · 07/10/2016 05:49

Good luck on Monday Kariana. I think we have the same due date but I'm still hanging around waiting for things to start- DC1 arrived early so this time it feels like I'm overdue even though not even 39 weeks yet. Btw I agree with you about having people waiting, I think I would just feel under pressure. I'm not planning on letting anyone know any news at all until after the baby has arrived. DM wants to know the minute I go into hospital but I refuse. Would just add another thing to worry about, having to keep people updated.

TMI but I've got a really dodgy digestive system today and had back cramps in bed last night, thinking maybe it could be 'clearing out' before the big event... Hopefully not as I have a few things planned this weekend, although that probably means of course I'll go into labour soon! Currently staying within arms reach of bathroom, not sure how I'm going to get out and about to these supposed activities!

Afreshstartplease · 07/10/2016 08:59

Few cramps and twinges overnight and this morning. But they just don't feel like anything worth getting excited about. Big curry tonight full of chillies.

38+2

LillianFullStop · 07/10/2016 09:01

Sorry second attempt was unsuccessful kariana - hope it wasn't as painful as the previous one. Good luck with the pre-op appointment today - I hope they ease your worries about things going wrong. I read planned c-sections can be quite relaxed and straight forward. Flowers you will meet your baby soon! well done on DH saying no to visitors in the waiting room - best you have your time to recover and enjoy your new baby with your DH before worrying about when to bring visitors in.

tall I've been having dodgy digestive system for the last 2 weeks Confused I tried reflexology this week and the therapist says: overall you are in good health apart from some tightness in your shoulder and well your digestive system isn't very well at the moment is it? understatement of the year! I think I'm having to go 4x and my husband has noticed how quickly we're going through toilet paper at home!

Can someone go into labour already please so I know I'm next!! 37+5 today

derryjojo · 07/10/2016 16:59

The thread is very quiet today. Do we have some news?

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/10/2016 17:12

My news is I'm still pregnant and pissed off about it

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 07/10/2016 17:13

I've had backache and cramps on and off all day but that's about it

SchnitzelvonKrummsverylowtum · 07/10/2016 18:01

Fresh I also have back ache and have had on off cramps for days. I'm extremely fed up of being pregnant now.

Afreshstartplease · 07/10/2016 18:03

I've had it for a weekish or so I think but today has been more. The cramps are stronger and starting to hurt. But if I am on my feet for Say an hour at the most I'd have one but probably none. If I sit or lie down I can have 3 or 4 an hour

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/10/2016 18:10

I've had some castor oil. I feel like I've drank petrol. I do not recommend it.

We might end up having ours at same time Fresh!

Nothing at all here - besides fanny daggers and something that feels like a stitch when I squatted down to pick something up off the floor...

derryjojo · 07/10/2016 19:19

I've still another 3 weeks until EDD. I'm counting on you all going before me.

Afreshstartplease · 07/10/2016 20:39

Holy shit

I am sporting blood

Afreshstartplease · 07/10/2016 20:40

Spotting even

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/10/2016 20:40

Phone maternity.

Afreshstartplease · 07/10/2016 20:43

Is it not just like the plug?

I've never lost a plug ....

Baby is moving fine and cramps have stopped TBH

derryjojo · 07/10/2016 21:18

Fresh I was spotting this morning and had to go to the hospital. Get it checked out

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/10/2016 21:21

Pinkish snotty mucus is plug

I would phone just to be on safe side

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 07/10/2016 21:38

It's now just like big pink smear each time I wipe?

What did they say derry?

Dizzy08 · 07/10/2016 21:44

That's what I got after my sweep and then the plug came out a day later. But I had had a midwife puttting her finger up there and was expecting some bleeding so I think I'd phone and get it checked out just to be on safe side though fresh

derryjojo · 07/10/2016 22:07

They think it's down to a cervical erosion. They took a swab to see if I have an infection. Always better to get these things checked out, for your own peace of mind.

LillianFullStop · 07/10/2016 23:42

Yep I'd give them a call fresh - it could be nothing or it could be things kicking off!

Kariana · 08/10/2016 00:06

Thanks Tall and Lillian! Very nervous and not feeling organised. I was kind of looking forward to labour sign spotting and a little disappointed that won't be happening, although I wasn't looking forward to the wait so that's an advantage of this situation. That said I've had a dodgy digestive system for three weeks now and no other signs of labour so although it is apparently a sign I wouldn't read into it being a sign of anything imminent unfortunately.

Fresh I hope everything is ok, you should get checked!
