I don't know what I'm doing but seen the message saying another thread was needed. I don't know what to add to this but though.

Erm. I'm Derek btw. 35 week on Thursday and due 6/10/16

Sorry but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

Am I right in saying they said you have low fluid or was it high?

DerekSprechenZeDick · 27/09/2016 19:54

I have too much fluid as well. I personally don't think she measured me right as how can I have increased fluid and be measuring small?!

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 27/09/2016 20:15

That's what I was trying to work out... I am wondering if my fluid is low as I literally feel like all baby

DerekSprechenZeDick · 27/09/2016 20:20

Have you had any growth scans?

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 27/09/2016 20:27

No I've been between 90th and 95th til now

DerekSprechenZeDick · 27/09/2016 20:56

Coz the bottom of growth scans tell
You about your fluid that's all.

When is your scan?

Nickname the frozen spinach made him move away slightly but then he seemed to get used to it and came back. It did however stop the itching and the effect seems to have lasted a good couple of hours, it's only just coming back again now. For that alone you are a genius!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 27/09/2016 22:07

Can you strap a freezer block to your stomach? Grin

OP posts:
Kariana · 27/09/2016 22:28

Grin that would be amazing right now Derek! After 3 days of itching so badly I thought I was going to claw the skin off my stomach in frustration it's so nice to have some relief. Who knew pregnancy came with such weird symptoms, I thought I'd be more worried about Braxton Hicks at this point, not something as strange as being itchy!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 27/09/2016 22:33

If too itchy you need to get seen.

And I have carpel tunnel syndrome due to pregnancy. Didn't know that was possible

Hi everyone, still trying to turn my breech baby. Tried lots of stuff but no luck yet, playing Norah Jones in my pants tonight!

Starting to get a bit scared about the birth, can't get my head round there being a baby in the next few weeks.
Kariana have you got any tummy butter or stretch mark cream?
I use palmers cocoa butter, have both tummy butter and cream - it smells like chocolate. Also have a nice one from the Sanctuary for after my showers, does help with the itchy tight feeling a bit. I am all baby and my bump is rock hard most of the time probably because of this massive head under my ribs! Would give anything to turn it my birth plan now spans from home birth to planned ceasarean and at the moment I'm looking at delivery a breech. Can someone just wake me up in 3 weeks time and give me a baby?

DerekSprechenZeDick · 27/09/2016 23:08

Anyone getting stabbing pain through stomach? I was laid on my back for a bit and when I went to turn I got pain all
Up my stomach.

Hurt so much

Redken24 · 28/09/2016 06:44

DerekSprechenZeDick · 28/09/2016 08:33

Afreshstartplease · 28/09/2016 09:05

DerekSprechenZeDick · 28/09/2016 09:09

Not heard anything yet. I'm
Going to ring midwife later and see if she can chase it up.

Afreshstartplease · 28/09/2016 09:10

Yeh I think that's a good idea

Have they mentioned induction or anything to you?

DerekSprechenZeDick · 28/09/2016 09:11

Not a thing. She wants me to have this scan done before anything is decided

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 28/09/2016 10:22

Hopefully you get your scan soon!

Really need to clean up Sad

DerekSprechenZeDick · 28/09/2016 11:20

OP posts:

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 28/09/2016 11:31

That's good you got an appointment Derek but shit about the midwives!

Kariana · 28/09/2016 12:04

Havetobecrazy I've been smothering my stomach with every butter, cream, oil and moisturiser I can get my hands on, but unfortunately they only provide very temporary relief. Since using the frozen veg last night though the itching has really calmed down so I'm hopeful that I can use that as a solution if it comes back. Have the midwives mentioned trying to turn the baby in the hospital at all? I've been trying everything at home but baby is too engaged in my pelvis to turn I think. They're going to try tomorrow at the hospital.

Derek I had my bile levels tested last week and all was fine so I think the itching is because my skin is so stretched. I haven't had it anywhere else on my body luckily.

TMI but my digestion has been getting more and more upset over the week. I'm wondering if it's due to my terrible diet but I don't think it's that horrendous. It would be nice if this was a sign labour will start soon after they turn him!

Nickname1980 · 28/09/2016 12:55

Yay kariana! I'm glad it made the itching go, even if he got very used to the cold quickly and didn't move much Smile

Good luck with your scan, derek. Great that they'll see you so quickly!
