Starting a fresh new thread for us!

I think Fedup asked about Elderberries and if anyone had heard from her... I haven't seen her name pop up in a while, but I'm not on the FB group either. I've been wondering the same about almondbutter, haven't seen her on here for a while now and know she was really suffering with sickness.

Ooh Stretched well done you for speaking up, I hope you are now having lovely newborn cuddles.

iona I hope all goes well for Friday and you have a peaceful stay until then.

I've finished the last of my batch cooking today and fitted the car seat ready for her arrival. Got a trip to the shops tomorrow for a mattress protector and then I think that's it!

Stretchedfortime · 07/11/2016 19:10

Grrrr! Still haven't had caesarean. And my blood sugars started to dip lower than ever before due to fasting since 8am in preparation. We've had a complete lack of information so I decided to eat something and ask for the op tomorrow instead. I know the staff are going to be really annoyed about this but I just wasn't prepared to risk having a hypo for the first time ever because of their lack of communication. I can wait till tomorrow now. Going to order some tasty takeaway.

needanewjob · 07/11/2016 20:02

Good luck stretched! I'm sorry to hear you've been waiting so long and hope they now just let you get on and have your baby x

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 08/11/2016 10:45

Hope they get you sorted today, stretched.

bobcat85 · 08/11/2016 12:02

That's annoying Stretched, hope you get your caesarean today.

Stretchedfortime · 08/11/2016 20:13

Finally he's here. Caesarean was fine. Thank you all for being supportive over the last couple of days. It was hard but it is now a distant memory.

Beautiful! Flowers

Spottyladybird · 09/11/2016 01:33

Congratulations Stretched, he's beautiful!

I'm awake with low pains in my back and semi regularly in my tummy. Hoping this comes to something! Due date is Thursday.

Not sure whether to get up and try to get things going or whether to rest and try to sleep!

Fedupithink · 09/11/2016 09:39

Ahh huge congratulations Stretched he is gorgeous! Well done for getting through it all, enjoy your lovely newborn cuddles.

I hope your pains come to something Spotty ive been woken up the past two nights with Braxton hicks for an hour or so that went nowhere - I'm desperate to get the labour part over with now as I'm just getting more and more nervous about it all.

Spottyladybird · 09/11/2016 10:15

Thanks Fed Up- everything stopped at about 4! So frustrating. 40 weeks tomorrow.

mrsdane · 09/11/2016 15:32

Many congrats Stretched.

Fingers crossed things get going for everyone who is due imminently. I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore...

Ionacat · 09/11/2016 18:06

Congratulations Stretched. He is gorgeous!

AyeAmarok · 09/11/2016 18:27

Finally finished up work today for Mat Leave! I'm 39+5. Managed to not have the baby in the office, yay! .

Starting to feel movements in the very top of my leg/groin when I'm sitting, I am hoping this maybe means that the baby is moving down a bit? Haven't felt them there before.

Fedupithink · 09/11/2016 21:37

Yay! Welcome to maternity leave Aye you've done so well to work so long. Enjoy!!

tiredmumrighthere · 09/11/2016 22:45

Anyone else just find it so hard to sleep or get comfy for that matter, went to bed an hour ago and tossed and turned the whole time! Have just come downstairs and am on the sofa now Sad I'm sooooo tired but I just can't sleep I wanna cry

TryingNotToWaddle · 10/11/2016 02:01

Yes! I'm still up and often am at this time of night. Baby's got hiccups now! Again... lol

I'm 40wks + 5 days and about to give up.

bobcat85 · 10/11/2016 04:54

I'm so tired yet the last two nights I've been having trouble sleeping. Went to bed at 11.30pm fine but couldn't sleep past 3.30am. Really itchy as well which has eased a bit now since I've got up. Decided to get up as I was just laying awake and I'll just try and sleep in the day.

TryingNotToWaddle · 10/11/2016 08:57

bobcat85 that's my new coping mechanism as well. Just get up and do stuff in the night. Soooo much better than lying in bed hot and bothered Smile

tiredmumrighthere · 10/11/2016 13:07

Ahhh isn't pregnancy such a joy Hmm
I got about 3 hrs sleep last night and I'm struggling to stay awake today!

On top of everything I've got sciatic nerve pain that brings me to my knees literally! Doesn't give me no warning just happens and it's so painful Sad I honestly don't know what to do anymore
