Starting a fresh new thread for us!

I think Fedup asked about Elderberries and if anyone had heard from her... I haven't seen her name pop up in a while, but I'm not on the FB group either. I've been wondering the same about almondbutter, haven't seen her on here for a while now and know she was really suffering with sickness.

Ahh congratulations Muffy!

I'm in the same boat as you Aye due on the 12th and after lots of worry about premature labour due to bleeds I'm sure I'll still be here come 42 weeks!

helenatroy · 31/10/2016 20:42

Well done Muffy and good luck
Tired mum. Not many of us left standing now.

EllieM22 · 01/11/2016 00:09

Congratulations Muffy how exciting!

Still plodding on here. Had cramps all night, they eased off and now they're back, so tiring!

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 01/11/2016 06:51

Congrats muffy! It's a case of another day, another 80 mile round trip to the hospital I'm delivering at - end appointment in 5 days. Hopefully only one more after this and then baby!

bobcat85 · 01/11/2016 08:44

Congrats Muffy, Gem and Need (sorry if I've missed anyone). Really pleased for you all and hope you're enjoying the first few days/ weeks.

Seems weird to think that I will definitely have a baby by the end of this month. 38 weeks today and ready for baby to arrive.

onthemetro · 01/11/2016 14:19

Congratulations to everyone who has had their baby! So exciting! Love seeing the cute newborn pics on here and on FB :)

16 days til my due date. I keep having dreams that the baby has just disappeared - hasn't come out, but isn't in there anymore Grin The anxiety is definitely ramping up a little.

I can't wait to meet my DD...aaaaand to also not be pregnant anymore, apart from feeling her move I can't say I've enjoyed it much!

tiredmumrighthere · 01/11/2016 15:33

Well I'm still here no baby no pains everything has stopped Confused 13 days to go! Can't believe November is here! Gonna enjoy the rest of my pregnancy the best I can and spend lots of time with my little one before shes no longer the baby anymore Sad

bobcat85 · 01/11/2016 17:02

Know what you mean onthemetro, I've not really enjoyed pregnancy either. Looking forward to less heartburn (hopefully) and being able to sleep on my front.

needanewjob · 01/11/2016 18:05

Congratulations Muffy, good luck everyone x

tiredmumrighthere · 01/11/2016 18:07

Ahhh bob-sleeping on front and no heartburn are the things I'm looking forward too most! I'm never ever sleeping on my sides again Confused

Fedupithink · 02/11/2016 08:40

Me three Bob and Tired! The heartburn and sleeping are really taking there toll now.

I had some cramps yesterday which I thought might be it but nothing overnight.

Midwife today so im hoping she is more engaged - I was irrationally gutted last time when she was still 2 5ths. Fingers crossed!

Who was adding people to the FB group? I think work have finally sorted out my corporate account so may be able to join at long last!

bobcat85 · 02/11/2016 10:33

If you message FuzzyOwl, she'll be able to add you to the Facebook group Fedup. Good luck for your appointment, I was also engaged 2/5ths in my last appointment 2 weeks ago so also hoping he's engaged more tomorrow at my 38 week appointment.

Stretchedfortime · 02/11/2016 13:45

Well, it's induction day for me today. I'm a bit petrified but fingers crossed it will be swift and not too painful.

Ionacat · 02/11/2016 14:27

Good luck Stretched.

I've now got a c- section booked in for next Friday at exactly 39 weeks. I went to the hospital this morning as the midwife thought the baby was breech. It turned out the baby is oblique and moving to transverse so I have an unstable lie. They want to admit me until my section next week, but I really didn't want that so they examined me and as my cervix is fully closed they let me go home, but they would like me to present myself on the ante-natal ward at some point in the next couple of days but they've given me some time to organise childcare for DD1 etc.. I'm waiting to discuss it with my husband who I can't get hold of - typical and have been told to take it really easy in the meantime. I'm not bothered about the section, but really not keen on a longish spell in hospital as I don't really sleep well except in my bed and will go insane!

Fedupithink · 02/11/2016 23:40

Good luck Stretched!

Iona I hope you don't mind me asking but what is the urgency? Is it that they don't want you going into labour spontaneously? I hope it all goes well for you and you manage to get yourself admitted soon.

needanewjob · 03/11/2016 00:42

Good luck Stretched. I was induced for the first time this time after my waters spontaneously burst but no labour started . Despite dreading it actually it only took a single pessary and baby was born half hour after contractions began. Hope you have a similar experience x

salemtheteenagecat · 03/11/2016 05:20

Good morning lovely people mole, my beautiful son was born last night at 11:11pm on his due date Smile and is absolutely perfect.

We've only managed to tell grandparents as everyone is asleep so a surprise till morning but needed to tell some one.

Labour was totally worth it xx

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 03/11/2016 07:11

tiredmumrighthere · 03/11/2016 07:20

Good luck stretched Smile

Stretchedfortime · 03/11/2016 07:53

Congratulations Salem.

Fedupithink · 03/11/2016 08:06

Congratulations Salem! Wonderful news Flowers

RuskBaby · 03/11/2016 08:53

Congratulations Salem and a rare due date birth too.

Ionacat · 03/11/2016 09:37

Congratulations Salem

Fedup if I go into labour spontaneously there is a danger of cord prolapse, hence any signs I have to ring and go straight in. I've resigned myself to probably being in hospital most of next week. So making the most of being at home at the moment.

Stretchedfortime · 03/11/2016 11:07

Thanks everyone. Need that is really good to know. I have been pacing corridors with a propess in so far.

needanewjob · 03/11/2016 12:13

Good luck Stretched! Gravity is definitely your friend! Congratulations Salem - lovely news!

Little man is now five days only and has just had his second weigh - no post birth loss here, he's managed to put 2oz on the little pudding!
