Starting a fresh new thread for us!

I think Fedup asked about Elderberries and if anyone had heard from her... I haven't seen her name pop up in a while, but I'm not on the FB group either. I've been wondering the same about almondbutter, haven't seen her on here for a while now and know she was really suffering with sickness.

Ah congratulations Gem!

Charlie arrived a day early
this morning at 12.37 am. After having to be induced last night with a pessary after my waters broke he arrived within the hour.

Ahhhh!! Huge congratulations on the safe arrival of baby Jasper Gem and baby Charlie Need! Both absolutely gorgeous!!

Ive been out tonight with a few friends who already have children so there was lots of advice and tips and talk about childbirth. Starting to get nervous now but trying to think of it as just one day to get through and remember nobody talks about the good stuff!

CocklesandMussels · 30/10/2016 11:27

TryingNotToWaddle · 31/10/2016 00:45

Woo hooo! I've just managed to shave my legs. Took a lot of effort near the ankles but got there in the end Grin

Spottyladybird · 31/10/2016 06:32

Well done trying

I've woken up to an achy lower back and a constant stomach pain, again very low and sort of period painy. Lots of lower pressure too. Trying not to get my hopes up.

Stretchedfortime · 31/10/2016 06:48

Congratulations need. He is gorgeous.

Spotty I've had two nights of contractions after acupuncture which have come to nothing. But someone told me to think that the pain isn't wasted as this will ripen/open our cervixes. That helped me when was getting a bit deflated. I'm booked for an induction on Wednesday so I haven't got much time for things to happen naturally. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

EllieM22 · 31/10/2016 07:19

spotty I'm the same! Lets hope it goes somewhere. I had a very intense labour dream too and woke up expecting to be at the birth centre!

tiredmumrighthere · 31/10/2016 10:00

So I've just got home from the hospital, woke up at 1:05am with contraction like pains in my back and at the front, they were coming regular every 5/6 mins and not going away when I walked around or changed postition, got to the hospital at 3am was examined at 3:30am and nothing was happening, they told us to stay until half 5 and they would examine me again, had a bit of a sleep but pain was getting worse, was so sure something must be happening! Hospital was busy so I wasn't examined again until 7:15 and still nothing was happening! They've sent me home to see what happens but after the last examination which was so painful and had me in tears I'll be surprised if nothing does happen today because that was horrendous! I'm bleeding loads now so gonna have a bath and go to sleep, Dp is here so that makes it easier! Still having painful contractions but there not coming as fast x

Ionacat · 31/10/2016 10:57

Congratulations Need.

Tiredmum hope you get some sleep and something starts happening for you soon.

MuffyTheUmpireSlayer · 31/10/2016 19:26

Hi everyone! BabyMuffy was born this morning, weighing 5lbs 5oz and doing really well. My waters didn't break so they thought it was a false alarm until they checked after a few hours of monitoring to find I was already 8cm dilated! He was born within the hour after that Grin

Crossing my fingers for you tiredmum! That was exactly how I felt during the night last night.

tiredmumrighthere · 31/10/2016 20:03

Ohh wow congratulations muffy Smile

Everything seems to have eased off now, I've had a bloody mucus show this afternoon but apart from that and a few pains nothing!

Waiting for out of hrs Dr to call me now as think I have an ear infection Confused

AyeAmarok · 31/10/2016 20:10

Congratulations Muffy!

Man, I feel like I am a million miles away from meeting Baby Aye! Think I'm in for the long haul.
