Starting a fresh new thread for us!

I think Fedup asked about Elderberries and if anyone had heard from her... I haven't seen her name pop up in a while, but I'm not on the FB group either. I've been wondering the same about almondbutter, haven't seen her on here for a while now and know she was really suffering with sickness.

Congrats Cockles.

helenatroy · 19/10/2016 11:36

Have had my date brought forward till 4 November. Also growth not not the assertion pattern they want. So have extra checks now twice a week. It's a worrying time.

Cailler · 19/10/2016 11:54

Just checked in and babies are starting to arrive - wonderful news! Huge congratulations Bolly and Cockles

I've heard very positive things about Evening Primrose. Is anyone giving perineal massage a go? I had planned to and then read what it actually involved Shock and have been unsure that it would be worth all the weird contortions that I would need to do to do it!!

tiredmumrighthere · 19/10/2016 16:12

Ahh glad I'm not the only one then, also have lots of pressure down there too when I walk, and I really do feel like my waters are just sitting there and at any minute there just going to go Confused

needanewjob · 19/10/2016 19:40

Ah lovely news Cockles... one of each how cute! Hope you go home soon x

Saw midwife last week and was measuring a week small but 3/5 engaged...I'd get excited except it's my third and he's bobbing in and out whenever he feels like it! Having lots of creaks now and the boobs are inflating by the day so I'm thinking not too much longer now

Spottyladybird · 19/10/2016 20:01

I'm feeling lots of pressure down below too. 37 weeks tomorrow, have told baby that this is now full term and it doesn't need to get as cosy as DD who was 9 days over!

Stretchedfortime · 19/10/2016 20:13

Congratulations cockles.

I've been doing perineal massage with my partner. It was VERY weird to start with but I've got used to it and both of us can see a difference. Some funny music the first time really helped. Still not my favourite thing though.

Ionacat · 19/10/2016 20:35

Congratulations Cockles.
Last day of work tomorrow!! Can't come soon enough. Am getting lots of Bracton hicks - bump. I've told bump it needs to wait until the end of half term and then it can come when it likes.

Fedupithink · 19/10/2016 20:50

Hope you are ok Helena that does sound worrying but great that you are being monitored regularly.

I had the midwife today, now measuring a week ahead but still 2/5 engaged which was a bit disappointing as I'd hoped to progress a bit more in the last two weeks. I'm sure it's fine I just need to be more patient!

Spottyladybird · 20/10/2016 12:35

Really achy today, wish I could just curl up on the sofa- don't think my three year old would appreciate it though!

helenatroy · 20/10/2016 15:07

Am ok fedup. Just at the end of my tether cold headache, no spirits, reflux.

tiredmumrighthere · 20/10/2016 21:51

Hi all, lots of period like pains today and tonight and horrendous back pain Sad feet are both all swollen again and feel so tight and I'm so tired, lots of tightenings too which are taking my breath away, I'm off to bed now can't keep my eyes open!

How's everyone else doing?

Fedupithink · 20/10/2016 22:05

That sounds rough Tired I've been on my feet all day so not felt her much (normal for me) but now I've sat down I'm getting really painful shooting pains in my groin which are new and she's very active.

Im really tired but I doubt I'll sleep - so frustrating!

tiredmumrighthere · 20/10/2016 22:23

Same fedup, I dread going to bed as I'm up all night with toilet trips and hot feet! I've just packed the last of my hospital bags and put them downstairs, I've told my mum to keep her phone on Incase I need I call her, hoping nothing happens but you just never no when these things are going to happen Confused

TryingNotToWaddle · 20/10/2016 23:15

Awww twins! How lovely
Congratulations! XFlowers

Yes tired I have the annoying stabbing pains too, sometimes it feels like he's sticking his arm in and out like "haha now you see me... now you don't" lol

Anyway hope we all manage to get a relatively good sleep tonight. Or if not at least no more fanny stabbing Grin

Stretchedfortime · 21/10/2016 08:06

Last day of work today. And 38 weeks. So pleased to have got to this point.

Ionacat · 21/10/2016 09:37

Congratulations Cockles.

Finished work yesterday although my maternity leave officially starts after half term. Lots of Braxton hicks, can't believe I'm 36 weeks. But I need this baby to wait until after half term so I can finish moving DD into her new room, get the stuff down from the loft for the baby and stock the freezer!
I'm obssessed with washing though I just love the smell of the fabric softener, planning lots of washing today!

CocklesandMussels · 21/10/2016 10:08

Thank you everyone, and sorry Bolly that I missed your news too. We're at home now and trying to get used to the new schedule. DD is being woken in the night by them, but she seems remarkably tolerant!
I'm looking forward to lots more good news very soon. It's almost November!

Fedupithink · 21/10/2016 14:16

So pleased you are home Cockles and settling in.

Same pattern last night, went to bed exhausted. Wide awake all night until about 3am and up at 7.

I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow, hoping I can have about another week of prepping at home before she arrives but after that I'm ready for her to make an appearance!

helenatroy · 21/10/2016 15:05

Fedup am just the same.

Spottyladybird · 21/10/2016 16:20

Trying to get about is such hard work, I feel up for going out but getting dressed is exhausting then by the time I've walked halfway I need a drink/wee/something to eat. DD has been poorly this week but once she's better baby can arrive.

helenatroy · 21/10/2016 17:08

Not just me then I was nearly crying putting on a pair of ankle boots. What a muppet.

MissObsessed · 21/10/2016 19:00

Has anyone else's diet basically turned to shit? Blush A few weeks ago I was all water and fruit etc but now I just can't be bothered. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and today I've eaten a jam sandwich, chicken supernoodles and a bowl of cereal. I feel really guilty about it but can't help myself at the moment!

MuffyTheUmpireSlayer · 21/10/2016 19:09

Yes to all of the above!

Spottyladybird · 21/10/2016 19:22

DD was born in June so when I was heavily pregnant I wore maxi dresses and flip flops. Much easier, not coping with actual clothes and boots!
