We've come full circle from obsessing about cervical mucus to now obsessing if it's our vagina baby plug going! What larks!

Lots of talk about poo, ours and now babies too! Baby brain is REAL! This heat can kiss my arse. And who KNEW being so neurotic about which changing mat to buy could be so satisfying and addictive!

Roll up literally, in my case, cause I'm practically rotund! for TTC #1 Grads!

Scan went well this morning. Showed a little bean with a flickering heartbeat. Showing about 8weeks which is what I thought based on my loooong cycles and late Ov. Slightly freaking out now suddenly seems very real!!

pink I think I'll be team vanilla but haven't really thought that far ahead yet! And may well be tempted to find out! We shall see! Hope things get moving for you today!

Also, I've just noticed on my notes the sonographer has put that my uterus is anteverted not sure what that means if anything?

Pink fingers crossed baby gets a wriggle on before Tuesday!

potato sounds like you are having a rough time with Aryas feeds. You can always call your midwife/health visitor if you are worried. How much is taking each feed?

Drink she's having between 4 and 5oz. I can't call the midwife as we've been signed off. I've called the health visitor but they don't call you back for a day or two. She's definitely getting enough to eat so I don't think its urgent, just worrying for me.

Potato I think she's getting enough as long as she's having plenty is wet and dirty nappies (not sure how many precisely is enough!)

OH gone out today 'for an hour' at 3. We're supposed to be going out for tea and to the cinema tonight but has just text to say he'll be another hour as his friend has ordered food. He's definitely brave when my hormones are so raging! You do not make a pregnant woman wait for food!!

Feeling a bit down today, not terribly, just a little bit sad. I think it's because OH has a job interview on Thursday and he's very stressed which in turn is making me feel off.

I have either indigestion or heartburn right now, I call it Hot Pipe because my windpipe feels hot and I feel a bit sick when it comes on. Not convinced it's heartburn though as its not as painful or low in my chest as others describe. So yeah, Hot Pipe is bloody annoying at 4am.
Went for a meal with DH last night in Liverpool, was nice to get really dressed up and even managed a few hours in my 5inch heels. Driving back to Scotland about lunchtime today and then the countdown is really on for Beanie's arrival!

I've just realised Hot Pipe sounds like a dodgy porno haha

40+5 today and still no sign of baby I was sure I was having some contractions last night, but then came to bed and absolutely nothing. I'm stressing out about it now which I suppose doesn't help either. I've taken to ignoring the texts I'm getting asking if baby has arrived yet - I got three in one day from a particular friend yesterday

For those who have been induced, silly question but do they put a cannula thing in your hand? I'm fine with needles generally but that terrifies me, so I just want to be prepared in case!

Re heartburn, mine starts in the middle of my chest, about level with the top of my boobs, and is like a burning sensation that won't go away.

Just checking back in - first few days at home with Baby have been intense. We have managed a couple of little trips out and about which is nice. I think my stitches are healing well I had a look with a mirror yesterday and could barely see them but will ask midwife to look today. I was more concerned by the giant pile... I think I will name him.

Huge congratulations Danni on the arrival of Mason. I will scroll back down to see if there is a picture in a minute.

Potato we have started introducing bottles as the frantic cluster feeding of first few days has destroyed my nips. He also seems to randomly throw back up an an entire meal for no reason at all and seems perfectly content.
