May 2017 - anybody out there?

Hi

I just found out at the weekend that I'm pregnant, this will be no. 2. Had no idea how far gone I was as I had just had AF 7th Aug but after a very early scan this morning it looks like I've conceived since then...very surprised as HPT is seriously strong and I got 5 +ve OPK's last week which by the scan I would have only just conceived at that point.

Very much a waiting game at the moment and back in 2 weeks for another scan. If I am indeed only 3 weeks then I have pretty much the same due date as I had for my DD only 1 year apart. Let the crazy times commence!

Anyone else this early in pregnancy and due in May 2017?

Well today's scan went well, 5 weeks and growing well, due 9th May 2017. Exactly 1 year after DD1's due date...got another scan in 2 weeks

Did another test last night which was much less ambiguous! Planning a trip to the GP surgery today to see if I can just book in with midwife or if I need an appointment. Great news with your scan Shipperssss. Extra scans nice, but I'm sure can sometimes cause a bit of extra anxiety too!

rabbity I've already self-referred to the case loading midwife team I know I want to be with, as I know that, all being well, I'll want a home birth. I've got my booking in appointment (in the luxury of my own home no less!) on the 6th October.

Anyone else horribly spotty? I remember this as an unpleasant symptom last time around

Feel properly sick today, I think before it was a mixture of mild nausea, nerves and excitement but now it's definitely just pregnancy I think.

I've Googled maternity clothes (why?)

It's varies from region to region but unless you've got any other health problems or issues you want to discuss with the GP then self referral is fine.
