Hi

I just found out at the weekend that I'm pregnant, this will be no. 2. Had no idea how far gone I was as I had just had AF 7th Aug but after a very early scan this morning it looks like I've conceived since then...very surprised as HPT is seriously strong and I got 5 +ve OPK's last week which by the scan I would have only just conceived at that point.

Very much a waiting game at the moment and back in 2 weeks for another scan. If I am indeed only 3 weeks then I have pretty much the same due date as I had for my DD Grin only 1 year apart. Let the crazy times commence!

Anyone else this early in pregnancy and due in May 2017?

Just had to double check the prices! 2D scan is £45 and 4D scan prices for later on start from £95 (don't think we'll be getting one of those though). Seems like we have it good round here!

newyorklover81 · 22/09/2016 21:48

Yes proper bleeding I got my period this morning but the Superdrug tests still showing positive ?! Weird but it's defiantly a full painful period so definitely over for me :(

Hoping and spraying I am super fertile this month! Good luck everyone xxxx

newyorklover81 · 22/09/2016 22:22

I clearly meant praying Confused I'm most definitely not spraying anywhere! Hmm

ginandcake · 22/09/2016 22:32

Sorry to hear that new, hope you have better luck next month whether you choose to pray or spray!

lullaby23 · 23/09/2016 09:17

£100 seems steep. I must admit the 4D scans scare the heck out of me, I don't think I want that much detail!

Sorry to hear that newyork best of luck for next cycle.

Damson9 · 23/09/2016 09:22

I've caved and booked a private scan for next week. They cost £80 round us, which I didn't think was too bad to make us feel reassured that there is actually something in there!

MissMooMoo · 23/09/2016 09:39

About £100 near me too, East London/Essex area

MissMooMoo · 23/09/2016 09:42

Woke up this morning feeling like death,6 weeks tomorrow.
Got up for the toilet about 1 and struggled for an hour to get back to sleep.
Landline rang at 2:45 with nobody on the other end Angry awake for another 45 minutes after that!
Feeling like I could throw up at any second, have trapped wind Blush and allergies seem to be in full swing. Oh the joys!

AnneLovesGilbert · 23/09/2016 10:06

Sorry you're feeling so shit Moo, I'm 6 weeks tomorrow as well. Hopefully your charges behave themselves today and you can rest this weekend.

ImYourWomanJonSnow · 23/09/2016 10:22

Can I join? I just had a positive. This would be DC2, due date 29 May, but I expect I'll have an ECS, so mid May most likely, fingers crossed.

Only dared TTC this summer after a horrific MC 18 months ago at 12 weeks, am excited and full of trepidation at the same time.

aaaaaargh · 23/09/2016 10:29

Hi all :) found out last week that I'm expecting number 3 :) bit of a surprise but excited all the same! Going by last period I'm due mid may but if I conceived when I think I did I could be changed to early June x

MissMooMoo · 23/09/2016 11:43

Thanks anne I actually don't work on a Friday so I went out to the cafe for breakfast whilst my cleaner came this morning.
Now back at home thinking about a nap!

Welcome snow and aaargh

Hi Ladies, I think I will leaving soon. I have started bleeding with cramps. Waiting for the doctors to call me back but I am loosing hope.

Good luck to you all and hope your beans are stickier than mine this time.

MissMooMoo · 23/09/2016 12:28

notyet Flowers I hope it isn't so!

CinnamonTwist · 23/09/2016 12:37

Had my booking in appointment this morning Grin feels more real now!! However as I have small and difficult veins she couldn't take blood, so I have to book into the hospital for that.
Just the wait for my scan letter now Grin

CinnamonTwist · 23/09/2016 12:38

Sorry cross post there as it took me ages to finish writing it.
Hope everything is ok not, are you going to have a scan?

ginandcake · 23/09/2016 13:00

Sorry not hope everything turns out ok.

I'm confused, just had my appointment letter through for my booking appointment and it says it is a scan appointment as well. When I spoke with them yesterday they said it would just be a booking appointment. Oh well, will just have to see what happens, although wasn't going to take DH with me so he could look after the DDs, will have to come up with a different plan now.

AnneLovesGilbert · 23/09/2016 13:06

Thinking of you notyet. So hope all is okay. Flowers

AnneLovesGilbert · 23/09/2016 13:07

That's exciting CinnamonTwist, haven't had any info on mine through yet but I bet it makes it feel a lot more real.

How many weeks will you be gin? That sounds a bit odd but hopefully if it's right you and DH can both go.

ginandcake · 23/09/2016 13:19

I will be 10+2 so the right kind of date to have a scan I suppose. I'm going to go expecting that there will be a scan and not be too disappointed if it's not. I'd rather do it that way than presume there isn't because then DH might miss out.

Notyetthere · 23/09/2016 13:41

Cinnamon - i don't know whether I will be given a scan. I guess I could go private. Doctor called me and said I should wait it out, take paracetamol when cramps get worse. She said I should call her back if I need further advice. She did say that I should go to A&E if the cramps and bleeding get worse.

CinnamonTwist · 23/09/2016 14:16

Not when I miscarried they did a scan - I first started spotting heavily and a scan the next day showed a viable pregnancy with heartbeat, then the bleeding got much worse with cramping a few days later and I called the midwife again who said they wouldn't scan again until the bleeding stopped, following that they gave me another scan which showed I had fully miscarried. Don't think you have to go private - don't be afraid to ask for one!

teainbed · 23/09/2016 14:19

Was that your GP you called? Or EPU? If you're in the UK most early pregnancy units you can just call yourself and speak to one of the nurses. They'll arrange any scans or bloods that are needed.

Spam88 · 23/09/2016 14:28

Hello all :) Got my bfp last week, estimated due date 24th May. Telling the parents this weekend!

Badgerbird · 23/09/2016 15:56

Not thinking of you and hoping you've got the physical & emotional support you need. And yeah def call EPU if you are more worried....
