May 2017 - anybody out there?

Hi

I just found out at the weekend that I'm pregnant, this will be no. 2. Had no idea how far gone I was as I had just had AF 7th Aug but after a very early scan this morning it looks like I've conceived since then...very surprised as HPT is seriously strong and I got 5 +ve OPK's last week which by the scan I would have only just conceived at that point.

Very much a waiting game at the moment and back in 2 weeks for another scan. If I am indeed only 3 weeks then I have pretty much the same due date as I had for my DD only 1 year apart. Let the crazy times commence!

Anyone else this early in pregnancy and due in May 2017?

Have read the back posts and sending to those who have suffered losses.

I've worried myself so much today that I have decided I need to start being positive.

I have had faint positives since Saturday - yes they haven't got darker but my period is only late today, I might have got negative last night but they were cheapies and I had drunk a lot and peed a lot so probably too diluted, faint test this morning but might be just taking its time to increase right? No period is a good sign. I've cracked open the Superdrug test and it is clearly a line!! No darker than I've had before but no lighter either! Please cross your fingers for me!!!

I am trying to stay positive! :) I would be due 30th may if this sticks! Fingers crossed - thanks to everyone for making me feel better! Xxx

I saw your other thread Frogqueen13 and was hoping you were doing okay. Welcome to this one! Bleeding and vomiting sounds grim, I hope both pass soon and you have a healthy, happy pregnancy

I need new bras, still haven't got round to getting any and am sporting a blinding case of double boob under my dress today. As this is my first time, how do I know what to get size wise? These puppies are growing by the day.

I got a very comfy sports bra for sleeping from Tk Maxx which is saving night time. But I need decent support for daytime!

Lotte, last time I was in mat jeans (but normal other clothes) at 12 weeks, starting to show but more just uncomfortable in normal denim! Showing more obviously around 15 weeks. This time I wouldn't say I'm showing so that anyone would notice yet (7+something) but my jeans and even leggings are a bit uncomfortable so am in pyjamas whenever possible! I think maybe it is more bloating than bump though for now.

Newyork it is an emotional roller coaster...hope your mind is at rest soon.

I'm feeling rotten. Nauseous and just so tired and generally uncomfortable. I'm still bf my 20mo DD1 and finding that quite sore now too. Feeling like a big lazy lump just trying to rest on the sofa as much as possible at the moment, but really guilty for not doing anything productive...

Thanks Anne, it's the hardest early pregnancy I have had my other two I was sick with and bled but nothing like this I feel so crap

To the ladies who have done this before....how does this sickness malarkey work? Is it normal for sickness to come and go? Or does it start and last a good few weeks?
I was really nauseous for 2 days - but then the last 2 days I have been totally fine....hoping I am just really lucky and it's nothing to be concerned about (I have seen a few of you worry about disappearing symptoms)

Just dipping my toe in to the thread. Got a positive test last week, reckon I'm due around the 21st May. Happy but slightly in denial! Will be second dc if all works out.

Gurtie last time my nausea definitely fluctuated day to day. And then disappeared entirely around 10 weeks. Was wonderful!

Oh and newyork, that's a line! Congratulations!

Same as me esmees, I'm also 21st may going by my dates. This will be my 3rd.
Gurtie my sickness is coming and going at the moment too. Some days none at all. I vaguely remember my sickness peaking around 10-12 weeks and then slowly fading away with my other pregnancies.

Same as esme...a few horrendous sickly days then some good days. Apparently you get a big boost of hormones and your body can't cope...then it starts to adjust so you feel better and then you get another big influx of hormones and it starts all over again. I feel kinda ill but my DD is keeping me so busy that I don't have the time to sit down so I'm powering through- it's actually helping me forget!

Sauvignon I am due 23rd too. I have no real symptoms today. Had nausea in afternoons but fine today which has me a little worried. Silly as this is #3 and I know full well the awful feeling of all day sickness. Quiet tired though.

With DS I had good and bad days. Only a handful of days where I was sick with the last time being at 19 weeks. Overall though I felt great and it was an easy, straightforward pregnancy.

With DD I had it much worse and was sick multiple times most days starting at about 6 weeks. Slowed down around 15/16 weeks but I felt like crap the whole way through.

So I'm hoping this pregnancy is more like my first. The nausea seems to be getting worse though so I'm doubtful.

So with my faint tests I now had some watery pink blood :( think it's over for me :( so upset we've waited so long for it to happen and it's a chemical when it does!

Gurtie I've heard symptoms come and go, I'm hoping so too! Felt sick as a pig yesterday interspersed with acid indegestion, exhaustion and slight mania!! Today has been ok..... Who knows!?

anne whatever new bra you buy now I'd probably only get 1 or 2. Last time I went up a cup size very early (and did this time by about 5 weeks) but then also went up a back size and another cup size a few weeks later. Think I then stayed that size until quite late on but had to stop wearing underwires when bump got bigger. Think I have about 6 different sizes stashed away from going up and then down again last time!

lotte with first I think it's very variable, I couldn't fasten my skinny jeans at 17 weeks last time (and cried all day!) but got another couple of weeks out of jeans with a hairband round button until needed proper maternity stuff. It was sooo much comfier though and suspect it won't be much longer till I pull them out this time.

Morning all. How is everyone doing this morning. I have a scan booked this am at 11.30. DF is away at the moment, and I haven't told him anything, because he'll just worry. I've got a friend coming to look after by lb and to support me.

Oh, good luck blessed. Very often people bleed and have healthy pregnancies so fingers crossed for you. Do let us know how you get on.
