May 2017 - anybody out there?

Hi

I just found out at the weekend that I'm pregnant, this will be no. 2. Had no idea how far gone I was as I had just had AF 7th Aug but after a very early scan this morning it looks like I've conceived since then...very surprised as HPT is seriously strong and I got 5 +ve OPK's last week which by the scan I would have only just conceived at that point.

Very much a waiting game at the moment and back in 2 weeks for another scan. If I am indeed only 3 weeks then I have pretty much the same due date as I had for my DD Grin only 1 year apart. Let the crazy times commence!

Anyone else this early in pregnancy and due in May 2017?

Anyone have any ideas to combat nasua during the night? Its the only time I have it and I think its because I am getting up quickly to go for a wee,but I can't just lie there as I am bursting as soon as I wake up.
I come back to bed and can't sleep for about an hour because all I want to do is vomit.

Missmoomoo have you tried travel sickness bands? I've been using them and they seem good so far. I also got an anti morning sickness lip balm from Amazon which has been helping.

Just found out my DH will probably miss the 12w scan so we've booked in for an early one when I'll be 8+2 next weekend - eeek!!

I made the mistake yesterday of reading some of the ante-natal tests threads. For some reason I was in great early pregnancy ignorant bliss that I wish I didn't know about why some of the tests are done.

Today I have decided to focus on more positive things like what would I like the nursery to look like. I know too early but I like a good plan and I find that takes the mind off the worry/waiting/symptom spotting...

Today only cramps that I am experiencing. Loss of appetite but no nausea.

No real nausea here but I definitely have the start of the pregnancy taste in the mouth. Yack.

Next time someone does the stats I think there's sadly some to remove. Violet I remember has left us, not sure about any of the rest.

5+6 today. Still no symptoms. I wonder if I'm going to skip the nausea like last time. I should get myself booked with a midwife really!

Hello all. Cautiously entering the thread at 4+6 with dc1, due 19th May. Was trying over a year so very nervous and excited in equal measures! Had a tiny bit of brown spotting earlier (more visible because I was wearing white knickers, doh!) which scared the life out of me. Nothing since then and trying to remain zen about it all.

Congrats to everyone! Hope all feeling ok. I had an awful backache last night- had to use a hot water bottle. Was a bit worried, but its gone today, and I had no cramping or anything. Just counting down until scans!!

I've organised my early scan- just two weeks to wait! I'm so busy at the moment that I'm thinking time should pass quickly enough...totally different to last time I was pregnant when time seemed to stand still between appointments! Glad my little DD keeps me run off my feet!

I'm not in the UK so slightly different here but have found a midwife and had first appointment with her last week. Got a dating scan booked in 2 weeks time (at just over 8 weeks). I've moved city since last pregnancy so had a find a new midwife but she seemed very sensible/ experienced. Congratulations to all the new bfps!

Hi newcomers!

I had my GP appt last week and he has initiated the scan appointment. Don't see the MW until 10w and we're on holiday when I'm 12-13 weeks so hoping my scan is before we go.

Not much to report here as not many symptoms but had the same with DC1 until about 9w. Bloating in the evening and tired but not too bad. Lots of spots which I also had last time and for about 6 months after my daughter was born. Pregnancy is so glamorous! I have a much more sensitive sense of smell this time which is odd

Hi guys I'm out. I'm ok, it isn't really a shock as I thought something was a bit off this time. Glad it's happening now rather than in a few weeks time.
Best of luck to you all, hopefully I'll be the last to have to leave the party now (at least for another 34 weeks or so :) )
