May 2017 - anybody out there?

Hi

I just found out at the weekend that I'm pregnant, this will be no. 2. Had no idea how far gone I was as I had just had AF 7th Aug but after a very early scan this morning it looks like I've conceived since then...very surprised as HPT is seriously strong and I got 5 +ve OPK's last week which by the scan I would have only just conceived at that point.

Very much a waiting game at the moment and back in 2 weeks for another scan. If I am indeed only 3 weeks then I have pretty much the same due date as I had for my DD Grin only 1 year apart. Let the crazy times commence!

Anyone else this early in pregnancy and due in May 2017?

Oh no, sorry to hear that MMM, take care of yourself.

Made it to 4 weeks so feeling slightly less fraudulent being on this thread! Haven't told DH yet as it's our 5 year anniversary tomorrow. Bit cheesy but I have ordered DS a big brother tshirt which should arrive today and will dress him in it tomorrow and see how long it takes for the penny to drop Grin.

Sonnet18 · 16/09/2016 07:40

Oh gosh, so very sorry to hear that. Hope you are ok

talulahbelle · 16/09/2016 08:22

I'm so sorry to hear that MMM I hope you recover quickly.

Vaguely yucky, very tired. Glad it's the weekend.

Adventuregame · 16/09/2016 08:23

Sorry to hear that MMM

I think I had my first experience of sickness yesterday ? About 6pm. Lots of reflux and some retching. I never had it at all with my mmc so even tho I know symptoms can be there or not be there and doesn't really mean anything I have to admit I was slightly pleased !

Sipperskipper · 16/09/2016 08:33

Sorry to hear that MMM. I hope you have lots of support.

I poas yesterday! An ovulation test. The test line was so so dark it's used up nearly all the dye for the control. I am reassured a bit. My sickness has disappeared. My only symptom is tiredness and larger breasts with sensitive nipples.

Streaky17 · 16/09/2016 09:24

So sorry MMM Flowers. Take care.

MissMooMoo · 16/09/2016 09:39

Woke up with a horrible sick taste at the back of my throat. Is this that pregnancy mouth people speak of? Yuck!

MissMooMoo · 16/09/2016 09:41

MMM so sorry to hear Flowers

MissMooMoo · 16/09/2016 09:42

Wow there are 5 of us due on the 20th, it must have been a very busy bank holiday weekend Blush

AnneLovesGilbert · 16/09/2016 09:46

Hope you're okay MMM, sending you a hug x

AnneLovesGilbert · 16/09/2016 09:48

5 of us Moo?! Hadn't even thought about it being a bank hol. Sorry about your throat taste, sounds grim.

I can barely stay awake this week, sleeping whenever possible and still exhausted. Bit worried about anaemia as it's plagued me since I hit puberty.

I was thinking the other day about how amazing it will be to not have periods for a while!

Northernexile · 16/09/2016 10:25

So sorry to hear that mild, take care x

Adventuregame · 16/09/2016 10:46

Blimey - boobs are off the scale sore today !!!

CinnamonTwist · 16/09/2016 11:41

Really sorry to hear that Militant, I hope you are ok. Your posts have exactly reflected my story last time, symptoms stopped around 6wks, miscarried at 7.5wks. I hope you have lots of RL support Flowers

I am sure there are some others that need removing from the list... I don't want to accidentally remove anyone who needs to be on there though. Alternatively, we could leave it until we start a new thread and then begin a new list?

lottesuz8 · 16/09/2016 11:45

Ditto Adventuregame and so so sensitive :S

Sonnet18 · 16/09/2016 12:05

I was thinking the same cinnamon as I'm sure there are a few people that have left the group.

Got my nhs scan letter in today-27th October. Luckily I have my private scan in two weeks so it's not too long a wait!

AnneLovesGilbert · 16/09/2016 12:38

Exciting news on your scans Sonnet, have you had a private scan before?

And another here with very sore boobs. They're still soft which feels weird as before I was due af, I always had a week of big, rock hard boobs. I need new bras and was wondering what I could get that would be comfy to sleep in. Any recommendations? Different ones for night and day, but some support at night would be good.

teainbed · 16/09/2016 12:38

Very sorry to hear that Militant hope you're ok.

My sisters miscarriage was the same with the CBD's not going up in weeks. So whilst they're a pain they obviously are accurate to a point.

Hope everyone else is ok. Sad to hear of the early losses.

teainbed · 16/09/2016 13:09

Does everyone else feel they've been pregnant for ages?? First positive test at 10 dpo and even though I'm only 7 weeks it feels like it should be much further on by now?!

fempsych · 16/09/2016 13:11

Could somebody add me? Can't figure it out on app. It's #2 May 17th. Thanks

CinnamonTwist · 16/09/2016 13:22

anne I went and bought a Calvin Klein bra-lette (or something like that) it's soft and pullover (with a racerback) but still supportive. I bought it to sleep in but it's SO comfortable for my poor boobs that I am actually wearing it in the day instead. I want to get some more but they're about £30 each so I'm holding out hoping I find them on sale at some point!

AnneLovesGilbert · 16/09/2016 13:30

Thanks CinnamonTwist, there's an outlet store near my work, I'll have a look.

Sort of tea. I didn't test as early as that but I sort of knew, so I had that in the back of my mind till I tested. I'm wondering how many weeks I'll need to be to feel a bit more sure this one is hanging around for the duration. I don't suppose there's a definitive answer, but scans and things feel a long way off.

Adventuregame · 16/09/2016 13:31

I actually just went and stood in the toilet cubicle and took my bra off for a few minutes - heaven !!
