Grin dh did ask whether I wanted to take it home and give it a wash. he kept quiet after the look I gave him.

Celen, good luck on Saturday

number4 have fun camping.

hummingbird100 · 25/08/2016 15:17

I'm feeling nauseous and tired today. DS (2yo) is just tucked under my arm and we're watching Bing but I promised the park and we didn't get out much yesterday so he needs some fresh and and a run round....maybe we'll go after this episode....zzzzzz

Cazbg · 25/08/2016 15:37

Trying to catch up on all the chat : ) I had my scan on Tuesday and saw a heartbeat and measured 7 weeks which was a relief. They also spotted a small pool of blood had a technical term which I can't remember which they say is fairly common and will either come out as a small bleed or get reasorbed... Another thing to make me nervous. Persuaded the epu to give me another scan at 9 weeks as that is when I had the last miscarriage.

Sorry to hear all the peps with issues getting epu appts it seems ridiculous. I had a fight with mine as i had two then my daughter and then another so they don't class as three consecutive miscarriages!

Today I am just feeling shattered and a bit achey, had some browny discharge which has made me a bit nervous.

Why isn't pregenancy like it looks in the movies and lovely and relaxed!!!

Celen · 25/08/2016 15:43

I am Shark but after my mmc and subsequent ERPCs, I just don't trust my body anymore.

haematoma Cazbg?

MrsRhubarb · 25/08/2016 16:07

I think the three consecutive thing is awful, no-where else in medicine would that happen! I remember reading something about it once where the author pointed out that that you don't have to break your leg three times before they do anything abut it, why should the loss of a baby be treated less so Sad

Massive un-Mumsnetty hugs to everyone going through this or worried about it Flowers

Cazbg · 25/08/2016 16:33

celen that's it - said it was very small and nothing to worry about... But I am pregenant for crying out loud, I worry about everything Confused

Cazbg · 25/08/2016 16:34

Could I know be added to the list? - hopefully this bean will stay put...

Cazbg due date 10th April but will be a week early due to a planned cs I think with DC #2

Celen · 25/08/2016 16:38

My due date will be earlier too Cazbg as having c-section but I can amend dates later on x

Sorry if I've missed any posts, just a quickie ladies, my head is really killing me, I'm prone to hormone headaches and now they're back. Would you all take paracetamol? I've heard it can be damaging to boys during pregnancy or this this a load of rubbish? Desperate for pain relief

RaRa25 · 25/08/2016 17:01

I would definitely take paracetamol choccy
If there was a risk to boys then surely it would not be recommended.

MyGreenSofa · 25/08/2016 17:03

Choccy - from what I've heard/read paracetamol is fine but you should try and take it as little as possible. ibuprofen should be avoided.

Got my booking in letter - 9th September! Thinking of booking in a private early scan around then as I'll be going away for when my 12 week scan would be due and I'd like to know what's what by then really.

I'm so sorry to hear of you being refused an early scan number 4. There really is no need for it, especially with your history! I imagine they scan most women that go in with bleeding, as they should, I doubt scanning you would really cripple their resources! I feel like waiting til 12 weeks for a scan is quite an unreasonable wait in general though. I'm not sure of the set up in other countries but I would think in other countries they probably have earlier scans when in a health insurance paying set up?

jpeg28 · 25/08/2016 17:14

Just catching up from today's posts.... Hope everyone is ok.

bertie I hope you haven't had any more spotting... I'm sure it's nothing.

number4 have a great time camping and definitely try to get referred for an early scan by your GP.

marmite I seem to be the same in terms of peeing in the night!! Ha ha... Like clockwork!

abacha that's such a funny story!!! I ant believe you went from a C/D to an H... I'm a 32F already... How big can they get?!!

mumi that's so great you feel nauseous! Such a good sign.

celen good luck for your scan Saturday.

Just been to the gym for the first time since finding out I was pg. I've been really frightened to exercise as last time I felt like I over did it and maybe that caused the MC... I know that's not true but still! Aside from thinking I was going to throw up on the cross trainer and generally feeling unfit it went ok! I need to get into a better routine so I don't get gigantic!!

Sorry if I missed anyone. Flowers

ChatEnOeuf · 25/08/2016 17:33

Congrats on the happy scan Caz. I've had subchorionic haematomas with all of my pregnancies (except this one, so far), the smaller it is the better, hopefully it will just reabsorb.

I do wish there was a national standard of care for early pregnancy, it seems too hit-and-miss at the moment. Maybe something MNHQ can take on following their miscarriage campaign?

Happy day here, research scan showed we didn't imagine the little bean at 6w, it's still there and its little heart is beating away.

Celen · 25/08/2016 17:53

MyGreenSofa, I think there's only a small window of opportunity for sonographers to measure nuchal fold so it may be that you get an ultrasound of the early side of around 12 wks, than later? Don't quote me on that though!

OP posts:
Celen · 25/08/2016 17:55

As long as your heart rate doesn't go through the roof, I'm sure you're fine to gym it jpeg Smile

Hi ladies please can I join? I am about 5w5d at the moment and a bit apprehensive because of a previous cp. Has anyone had period pain type cramps?
It's good to find a place where everyone is going through the same thing!

Niks2026 · 25/08/2016 19:04

Hi ladies. Can I please join...

Only found out I was pregnant Wednesday and still hasn't sunk in yet. Confused

I'm Niki, 29yo and I'm due my 3rd baby somewhere between 28th April and 3rd May according to the ovia app. I'm feeling very nauseous and hungry and have very sore nipples. I've got a booking in appointment with my dr on September 7th.

jpeg28 · 25/08/2016 19:20

Welcome welshy and niks congrats on your BfPs!!

welshy I have had period type cramps since I found out I was pg and had three instances of really really bad cramps. Apparently it's all normal and is just our uterus stretching etc.

ecofreckle · 25/08/2016 19:23

Hi Niks.I only found out on Monday. Husband has been wantinga second for ages so had coil out in secret in June. It was quite a surprise for him. I'm 40 and still breastfeeding my first but not had nip issues yet. So much to look forward to!

Celen thanks for adding me. Sorry now is such an anxious time. I'm kind of willing the next ten weeks away.

To the lady who suffers hormonal headaches....do they normally go with paracetmol? Mine only respond to migraine triptan drugs so am bit fecked at present. But have doc appointment tomorrow to ask about options so I'll report back.

Welshy11 · 25/08/2016 19:25

Thanks jpeg it just feels very strange and constant knicker checking going on just incase! Lol

jpeg28 · 25/08/2016 19:37

welshy I knicker check every day all day!!! I really want to get to 12 weeks so I can read a tiny bit!!

SharkBastard · 25/08/2016 20:18

Another 24 hour knicker checker here!

I've been a wreck today, just bursting into tears over everything! Cried cause I muffed up my chicken Kievs, cried cause I dropped mustard (anyone else super clumsy in pregnancy?), cried after a chugger popped round to get me to sign up to a charity, cried when I thought about how much I love my daughter...the list is endless and I feel really down!

Anyway, the kiev's were lovely...

everdene · 25/08/2016 20:23

Crikey this thread moves quickly!! Feeling so pregnant - swollen, tired, nauseous and crave-y.

And grateful Smile

gemsbok · 25/08/2016 20:50

Oh the headaches! I've had horrendous headaches the last 2 days - paracetamol have faded them a bit but it's still in the background.

I remember them from my last pregnancy, so all consuming and they got more frequent as I went on.

Having a bit of a pity party here too.

Hope all those spotting are doing ok and staying as positive as you can.
