Evergreen, I was in H&m on Oxford street last week and the small maternity section was next to the newborns in the kids section. I'm annoyed they've removed the mat stuff from the store in bluewater Angry

Evergreen17 · 29/08/2016 11:18

Nasch
Appointment on Thursday

Thanks Friendly and wispa, I will head to the oxford street one or I could go to Croydon on my day off

Friendly sorry about grandma Sad

wispaxmas · 29/08/2016 13:28

The Bromley h&m in the glades had a mat section last time I was pregnant, not sure what area of London you're in, but if you're SE it's a good shout.

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 29/08/2016 13:59

Oops, I meant to say jeggings but it auto corrected , they ehetr primark and are very stretchy. Only about 8 quid to do youre not to fussed if you don't wear them much.

Hope you're OK flipper, some people just have no bloody filter x

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 29/08/2016 14:00

Ehetr I'd meant to be where lol

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 29/08/2016 14:00

Is!!!!!

SBSparkles · 29/08/2016 14:14

Flipper sorry to hear your MIL upset you. I definitely feel like I won't take any sh*t now I'm pregnant. Gone all protective of myself! Did you say anything to her?
Not having coffee much as I still can't stomach it!! Even decaf. I used to live for coffee.

SBSparkles · 29/08/2016 14:21

Saying my NIL said something really crapy the other week and DH and I just went home and fumed! Sometimes it doesn't sink in till later!

*saying that my MIL

FlipperSkipper · 29/08/2016 14:30

Thanks ladies. I didn't say anything as I don't like to upset people and cause conflict, but I think that's going to have to change. My husband doesn't know how upset I am, I'm not sure I can tell him. I am going to tell him not to share anything personal about me with her though, as I don't trust her not to gossip about it. The belly touching I'm going to try to stop (from anyone!) in future, she took me by complete surprise with that one! We don't see them very often, they live 2 hours away and don't bother to visit or phone us (the last time they were here was June last year) so hopefully the next time we see them will be Christmas.

LondonGirl83 · 29/08/2016 14:45

friendly. I hope your grandma pulls through and you ca rebook your appointment

flipper you should definitely tell your husband how upset you are. Hopefully when you next have to see them it'll be smoother but definitely don't let people touch you if you don't like it!

ever in the morning my bump is so small no one but my DH and I could possibly see it. My the evening it's just wind! By the way, the movement I've felt feels a lot like end so who knows if I even know what I'm talking about regarding movement of Confused

Also 3.8 kilos sounds like the perfect weight gain for where you are. I've read 5-10 by week 17. Anyhow pre pregnancy BMI is what counts for risk. Don't worry about getting in trouble for pregnancy gain!

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 29/08/2016 15:41

I've gained 4lbs up to now (17+3) but it will likely shoot up a little by Wednesday weigh day as I've had a very indulgent weekend! Not sorry for it either lol. By this stage in pregnancy last time I'd already gained a stone and a half Blush I really went for it haha! I've lost a lot if weight since though and am determined not to gain it all again so being careful this time around

gumbootsandjandals · 29/08/2016 17:25

evergreen the H&M on Regent St has the biggest maternity section in central London I believe. I was last in there in Feb (not looking at mat clothes, just kids clothes in the section next door).

I didn't get a bump til after 20 weeks first pg.

I've got Braxton Hicks at 17 weeks in all pgs.

LondonGirl83 · 29/08/2016 18:09

ever my post was supposed to say a lot of the movement I feel, is just like wind....

Evergreen17 · 29/08/2016 18:15

Thanks london Smile
I just have been craving the wrong food. Need to try to get more veggies in
I feel bloated

Evergreen17 · 29/08/2016 18:16

Thanks for the h&m tip gumboots

divadee · 29/08/2016 18:20

Oh what a day. It's big moving day for us tomorrow and we have packers coming in but still trying to sort all the crap out for charity shops and the bin etc..... My mum who's amazing turned up. And told me that my cousin who's a bitch and we don't talk after she stirred it all a few months ago has called my mum upset as she heard she had upset my mum as well as me. My mum has now made up with her and wants me to also..... No way ever so it's caused ructions. Sigh. Families are a pain in the arse aren't they?

Oh and her stirring it was to text my partner saying I had got pregnant on purpose........ Yes this one was a surprise but no way would I ever ever do that on purpose. Besides he used to be beside me every night when I took my contraceptive pill!!!! (Not watching intently or anything as that's a bit weird! Lol)

LondonGirl83 · 29/08/2016 18:41

Divadee I'm genuinely Shock

I normally pride myself on being able to see both sides of an argument but that's so far beyond crossing the line, I literally don't know what to make of it. She sounds like a sociopath! Who texts someone else's partner something like that, particularly when its baseless. I'm angry for you Angry

CeeCeeEnnEss · 29/08/2016 19:03

Families can be the worst. We've just been to visit my DH's grandma and she mocked my beautiful (deceased) grandma's name, which my DH accidentally gave away as a possibility. She didn't mean anything by it, but I'm so hurt.

Scan went well though, will attach a pic if I can... We saw baby wriggling away, opening its mouth, kicking its legs...amazing!

CeeCeeEnnEss · 29/08/2016 19:04

Did this work?

Due February 2017- thread #6
divadee · 29/08/2016 19:13

london it's all horrendous. I have just spoke to my mum though and we are ok. She is respecting that I don't want any information passed to that side of the family etc... So alls well that ends well. I hate cutting people off but I wouldn't tolerate that from a friend so why should I just cos we are related?

My mate thinks she has a thing for my OH as she's always saying 'I was I had someone like him' to people.

CeeCeeEnnEss · 29/08/2016 19:27

Ahhh diva that sucks. She sounds crackers.

Don't engage any more. That's been my motto since getting knocked up: people who piss me off can do one!

divadee · 29/08/2016 19:56

Thanks ceecee yep blocked her from my phone and OH has done the same. Just hate the hassle and aggro when I am moving house tomorrow. And I still have so much to do! I thought packers would make it easier but you still have to sort everything out.

divadee · 29/08/2016 19:57

Awwww beautiful scan pic ceecee love a wriggly one.
