totally right wo, would be completely the wrong thing to do, still manage to do it everytime tho!
am determined this time that i won't give in, stupid thing is i never really want to, just go along with it and end up feeling used. about time i grew up so will not let him do that this time. especially as he has a gf

Are we still planning a big London meet up on the 24th of feb, that could be your belated b-day celebration ellieK, I will bring some cake and a candle.

If not.....

Where abouts are you elliek I'm sure someone on here near your area would love to spend your b-day with you.
If you are anywhere near me count me in.

EllieKwithabigbump · 01/02/2007 21:38

i' not all that far from london 1b3, it's just over an hour on the train. I'm in Suffolk, and as far s I know there's only me, cazboldy, bugmum and eca in East Anglia, each about an hour away from the others!
i'm really hoping we can go on this holiday as friends, it's all paid for now, but if he doesn't come then i'll def be at the meet up, and i'm reaally annoyed i might miss it now!

AngeG · 01/02/2007 21:52

Evening all

Sooo much to catch up on I don't know where to start.

Ellie - Sorry about your relationship. As others have said we are all here for you. I have also been doing jigsaw puzzles in the last few days.

SOSPL - I saw your thread about Becky's nose smell last night and wondered how you got on. Sounds gross but at least you've got rid of it now.

Duchese - good to hear from you. Glad that things are beginning to get sorted out for you.

Bigs hugs to all those with sick children, SPD pain etc. Sorry can't remember you all by name and haven't made notes. Re Chicken Pox, chemist recommeded eurax lotion, dries the spots out and relieves the itching and you can use piriton as well. Smells strange but seemed to do the trick.

Liath - hope things are progresing with your sister. Let us know.

Soryy can't remember anything else

EllieKwithabigbump · 01/02/2007 22:14

off to watch the new comedy on itv now, in the vain hope it might make me giggle
and do more jigsaw of course!

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2007 23:09

Boo! Me again - popping in before bed ...

Awww, Ellie Not so good for you right now, is it hon!!? [hugs] Hoping you get to do something fun for your Birthday sweetie. If it makes you feel any better - I am only 24 and I haven't done anything "young and fun" in forever. My idea of a "good evening" is a quiet take-away and an early night - Whoo! Hoo!

1B3 - You can't put newborn twins in a P&T E3 - there's nowhere to "store" both of them!! Are you thinking of a P&T Twin Buggy?? If you're thinking of biodegradable nappies, may I recommend Moltex - find them at www.spiritofnature.co.uk, v.reasonably.

Hello Duchesse - Soooo good to "see" you - All the very best with your "Bean making" - we do miss you here! Great to hear about "official" dianosis with the hyperthyroidism, hoping it goes some way to helping you concieve honey.

Night all......

Birdiebump · 01/02/2007 23:13

You guys made me laugh so much today - esp. as I was feeling so sorry for myself! The poo in the conservatory, the bad thing up the nose, the old bags outside the shop, the snotty midwife, the cats, as ever... - I needed that!

Flu is still hanging on grimly and guess who's DS2 was sent home from nursery today with his first chicken pox spots??? I love my life!! DH has taken the strain tonight but I'm dreading tomorrow when I'll be on my own with DS, who seems to be uber-well, if anything and he's an active little bugger at the best of times....

EllieK - [[[hugs]]]] to you and there has been some good advice and wishes on here.

Duchesse - great to hear from you! I think of you as a RL friend I missed out on (we were going to meet up in Exeter) as I have spotted the "hut" thread and am deeply in awe of your refreshing attitude to ttc ! Best of luck to you and lots of babydust!!! (That's it girls, I've blown it now, we'll never see her again......)

Will try to get on tomorrow, when fending off DS2....

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2007 23:16

Hope tomorrow is ok BB honey! Eeeek to poss chicken pox - certainly an epidemic of it atm, isn't there - Would very much like DD2 to get it sooner rather than later; but haven't found anyone around here "ripe for rubbing" - Ah well, keep searching .....

Really am going to bed now .....

liath · 02/02/2007 07:44

A baby boy! Another difficult labour again so emergency section earlier this morning, poor sister. Off to work and will go home for a few days to help out looking after her ds so may not be on much. Look forward to catching up later.

Emmymummy · 02/02/2007 07:48

Liath - congratulations to your sis, sorry she had such a bad time. Hope her recovery is swift and that her new little boy is beautiful!

weeonion · 02/02/2007 08:24

morning folks!
congrats to your sis liath - hope her and new nephew are doing well!

in a suspiciously good mood this morning!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 02/02/2007 08:58

Oh Aunty Liath, congrats to your sister!
HTH as going to be late for work. Catch up later. x

geordiemacminx · 02/02/2007 09:11

Morning ladies.

Congrats Liath!!!!

Post more when I wake up properly.. slept in this morning, couldnt et boots on, burnt toast, 30 mins late for work due to sleeping in and rubbsih traffic... and put the wrong jumper on, so now have 3 inches of bump showing in a very vicky pollard-esque manner... nice!!

Emmymummy · 02/02/2007 09:31

Ooo GMM I hate that - I get my stupid under bump jeans falling down and my top riding up leaving an expanse of belly when I'm walking along - nasty!

Weeonion - thanks for the offer of the CD - no worries as I wanted to read the book too anyway - maybe I should have bought a different CD though so I could copy that too for others. Der. Oh well too late...

Thinking of starting an insomniacs anomymous club - had a totally shit night again last night - awake at 2am, then no sleep til after 6am. Raaaaar. Then had dh waking me up at 7 as he had to turf me out of the bed as we're having wardrobes built at the mo and he needed to take the bed to bits before leaving for work. Am therefore going to 'work' at home today as am a total zombie. Apart from a dr's appointment this morning to have a strange growth removed from my shoulder to look forward to. So am now on coffee and chocolate buttons to help me through the day .

geordiemacminx · 02/02/2007 09:39

I had the horriblest trousers on yesterday..when I walked about they fell down, and when I sat down they dug into me so much I was starting to worry about the blood supply to my legs!!!

MAternity wear is crap!!

Very of you working at home today.. I'm at work, aits very quiet though which makes it drag even more... and I'm here til 5... then gotta dash home, get changed, sort moggy out and drive up to SIL's for nephew's football fund raising dance.. 120 miles...

Emmymummy · 02/02/2007 09:54

Gmm, am also hating maternity wear with a passion. All my trousers either pull up to my boobs (and make my tummy itch), or sit under my bump and fall down when I walk and dig in when I sit. My knickers all end up in uncomfortable places and I hate non-underwired bras (shapeless, horrid, saggy things with seams and not enough support). Yuk!!! Cannot wait to get back into normal clothes again.

Poor you having to drive all that way - I'm good for nothing in the evenings, would rather go to bed with a good book and a cup of cocoa, sad old fart I am .

geordiemacminx · 02/02/2007 09:59

I'm usually in bed by 9.30 too, although to be honest I'm quite looking forward to going and seeing the family, they are a nice bunch, and we havent seen them since before xmas.. and the weather is supposed to be great tomorrow so we'll have a nice run out somewhere on the east coast of scotland!!

My breast feeding book has come.... got some bed time reading anyways... its enough to give you nightmares!!

Emmymummy · 02/02/2007 10:04

Lol! I shouldn't laugh though, I'm dreading starting all over with breast-feeding again....the cracked nipples, the sensation of someone sticking hot pins into your boobs, the leaking, the over-engorged feeling like you're going to explode....oh joys!

Bubbaloo · 02/02/2007 10:04

Morning All,

Just popping back in to say hello to everyone and hope you are all keeping well.
Everything is fine at this end-can't believe how quickly April is coming around.

Liath-Please wish 2Happy all the best.Hope she and her ds are doing well.x

CaptainDippy · 02/02/2007 10:22

Morning!

Bubbaloo - My Due Date Buddy - So nice to see you again honey! How's it going? Do you reckon you'll reach the end of April?? - I reckon I ain't got a hope - The race is on ......

Liath - Fab stuff about your sis - Congratulate her from some random person you met on the Internet, won't you!!? I am sorry she ended up with an emergency Section; but her wee man is here now and that's what counts, eh!!? Fab.

Emmy - Definitely a candidate for your Insommnics Club here - Didn't get to sleep til half 12 / 1ish; then woke up at 4.45am and couldn't get back to sleep - DD1 up at 6am; so had 3 1/2 hrs. Great. Oh well.

Friend's little girl's 2nd birthday today, so taking the DD's swimming this afternoon (with a friend cos there's no way in the world I'm taking them on my own!!) and then going back to hers for tea and cake. Should be fun - DD1 VERY excited cos she worships the ground my friend walks on!!

CaptainDippy · 02/02/2007 10:54

Huh!!?

Where'd everyone go!!?

Do I smell?

maveta · 02/02/2007 10:54

Hello hello, have to say my topshop mat. jeans have done me proud so far although I can imagine they will start digging in when I sit down soon.

Bean woke me up really early with his morning Tai Chi again and couldn´t get back to sleep although I did loll in bed for a couple of hours before finally hauling myself out. Now finally showered and dressed, finally shaved my legs after what feels like years but has really only been about a week! plucked eyebrows, brought ladygarden somewhat under control although professional help will be needed before too much longer. So all in all I´m all beautified and ready to go.... to the doctor. yes, he´s THAT special

Emmymummy · 02/02/2007 10:56

CD - glad it's not just me then, in a strange sharing kind of way...also got about 3.5hrs sleep, so we are probably feeling about the same today.

Just had strange thing burnt off my shoulder - it was a hemangioma (sp?) apparently and it bled like buggery. Nice smell of burning flesh when he was treating it, and it now stings. Oh dear, better get some more chocolate to make me feel better....

nuttygirl · 02/02/2007 10:56

Hello

Congrats Liath!

Another one for the insomniacs club i think! Got a slightly better night's sleep last night, once I stopped going to the loo! I got one of those maternity support bands from JojoMB and it seemed to help - I was def more comfy than I have been in a while.

DH has booked me in for a haircut on Sat, yay! Have decided to change salons since my crappy experience last time, so going to SAKS this time and DH is paying

Right my breast pump has been delivered so off to open the parcel and see what it's like!

Emmymummy · 02/02/2007 10:58

Maveta - you mean you can actually see your ladygarden enough to actually do anything with it?
