spanielLed I feel exactly the same! I was huge bloated and a emotional reck last weekend. This week feel "normal" and it's worried me. Even my boobs aren't sore! My scans 3 weeks away though so longer to worry! But read lots that it's a good sign Confused

NameChange30 · 19/08/2016 14:16

Super In my experience, Gap tops come up big and the bottoms come up small. I would advise you to go for the shorter length (I'm 5'8 and the standard length is fine for me).

SuperDuperJezebel · 19/08/2016 14:21

Oh boo they only do regular length in Maternity!

NameChange30 · 19/08/2016 14:38

I guess with jeans and chinos you could roll them up, but with smart trousers, skirts and dresses it might be tricky Confused

I'm up for a group too struggling to keep up with it on here and find my DS group easier to keep up to date on with the power of fb

SuperDuperJezebel · 19/08/2016 14:45

I'm used to longer jeans to be fair as not everywhere does short length and I plan to live in uggs through the winter so I guess it won't look too odd if they're a bit long.

Amelia1989 · 19/08/2016 15:58

Thanks for the welcome everyone :)
I left fb a year ago due to my job (people finding me) if everyone is moving over to there I might crate a new profile tho just to keep up with the group

Congratz to all those who have had scans. Exciting times. I don't have a date for mine yet! When should I chase this up?

Carolann8584 · 19/08/2016 16:00

Amelia I haven't got my date yet either but I only saw the MW on Wednesday so I don't expect the hear yet

ive just realised how to send a pm.

where it says name the on left hand side it says add message/ report/ message poster

press message poster then sends a pm

Mummytobe83 · 19/08/2016 16:15

I am really nervous this evening. I have a gastric band and now it's the time empty out all water/ saline which makes it tight so I can't consume much food. I have had it for a year and lost 5 stones but still another 3 stones to lose.

It's mixed feelij

Mummytobe83 · 19/08/2016 16:18

Stupid phone sent that before I was ready..Grrrr

Like I was saying it is for the health of my child but to see the scales go up will also be very difficult. Heyho..Needed a rant xx

Mummytobe83 · 19/08/2016 16:20

God I apologize for all the errors in the first part of my message. I am horribly dyslexic at the best of times. X

MrsMushrooms · 19/08/2016 16:22

The FB group is up and running and I've sent invites out to everyone who's PM'd me so far - fingers crossed it'll be easier to keep up with chat in there!!

Aw, Mummytobe83 that sounds really frustrating. You're right, it is needed but it will be scary to see the scales creep up. Just know that you've lost 5 stone once so you can lose anything you gain back again while pregnant once you've had a healthy bouncing baby!

charlybs · 19/08/2016 16:29

Alpha let me know if your baby on board badge arrives - I travel through London about once a week for work and I've tried to order one twice but it's never turned up!

charlybs · 19/08/2016 16:31

Also - greetings from Cambodia! It's boiling and I don't have much appetite but me and DH are having a great time X

cyclinggirl22 · 19/08/2016 16:33

Is it possible to send a PM from phone? I can't seem to find where to do it

MrsMushrooms · 19/08/2016 16:41

I don't think you can do it on the app :(

SuperDuperJezebel · 19/08/2016 16:47

If you're on the mobile website click on the 3 ... Under the post of the person you want to pm and a little drop down menu should appear.

Carolann8584 · 19/08/2016 16:49

Glad you're having a nice break Charlybs my OH and I are thinking of taking a break around 20 weeks, not sure where to go yet
x

Butterpuff · 19/08/2016 17:13

DH and I did a California road trip at then end of the second trimester with DC1 it was great, lovely to have a holiday together before we had to share each other with DC

Zebra00 · 19/08/2016 17:42

Super I'm also 5ft 3. Next maternity petite jeans are fantastic. Other stuff I've had to get my dad to alter for me as he's a dab hand at that!

ItsMagicYouKnow · 19/08/2016 17:45

Hi everyone,

Been MIA this week, have been doing full work days at my desk since Tuesday (!) The sledgehammer feeling has gone, so just the nausea to deal with now. I've overdone it today though, so I'm in bed feeling sorry for myself and eating salt and vinegar Hula Hoops. I obviously have a vinegar deficiency Wink

Hope everything went well today boots, congrats to everyone who's had their scan.

purplesmiler · 19/08/2016 18:08

Snap magic in relation to the salt and vinegar. I've just sat and munched on some . I've noticed that I crave salty things at the moment.

Happygojo86 · 19/08/2016 18:18

I'm obsessed with salt and vinegar 'fake' crisps like hula hoops, squares, chipsticks, French fries etc. Walkers and mccoys aren't cutting it for some reason

wornoutboots · 19/08/2016 18:24

well, there's a foetal pole now, but not big enough so now I have another scan on the 5th - a "viability scan". If it isn't growing a millimeter per day they say it's not viable and I'll be supposed to have a d&c

so I'm still in limbo
