Just got my letter back from hospital about downs risk. Is 1 in 10,000 classed as low? good luck with scans today!

sparkles yes think it is low risk 😊

OK so don't laugh.... but I just had a glass of milk 😁😁😁

sparkles 1 in 10,000 is about as low a risk as you can get. Woohoo!!!!

Sparkles that's really low risk! Mine was nowhere near that (1 in 1000) and was still classed as low risk with no further testing offered.

It's so good that they let you know so quickly. My letter was waiting for me when I got in yesterday, from the scan and bloods taken on Monday.

Just got back from the scan. Everything's there and where it should be :) ! Due on the 14th Feb now. Wasn't expecting to have bloods taken again, guess I should start getting used to needles :-/ !

Kiki that's really quick!! Mine was about 10 days.
Just been across the road to see my elderly Italian neighbour. Told her my news and she said she'd already guessed! I must be showing more than I thought!!!

Wonderlust congrats on the scan!! Yes we are just human pin cushions from now on!!! And urinating machines! All I ever do is p*ss in pots, pardon my French!

Haha! It's so strange knowing you're walking around carrying a pot of your pee in your bag!

Then you hand it to the doctor proudly, like its a little gift you brought for them!

Sorry I've been quiet ladies. Had my scan on Tuesday, will try and upload a photo. All went well. Was lovely seeing the baby. I have been put forward a week - so now 13 weeks and 5 days and EDD 5th Feb.

Still being sick and feel generally pants. I took look very bloated. I have my hen do tomorrow night and have nothing to wear :(

Hopefully this works. X
