xx

lawyeredout82 · 29/07/2016 13:26

Ps no bump here yet and they weighed me at the hospital, was not expecting that 😱

FriendlyGhost · 29/07/2016 13:45

This is me at 11+3 Shock
Only a week until my scan. Not that I'm counting down the days or anything.
Sorry so many are still suffering. I felt better last week and triumphantly told DH my morning (all day) sickness had ended early this time. He looked at me like this Hmm It came back with a vengeance on Monday and all I got was 'don't you remember this happened last time?'.

MarjorySunshineDust · 29/07/2016 13:48

Ooooooh just got a date through for 20 week scan, 16th September. Just before we go on holiday Smile

lawyered I had forgotten they weigh you for the blood test at the scan, so not fair after all that water they make you drink!

I told my grandmother about the pregnancy this morning, she sobbed bless her.

Sunshineface123 · 29/07/2016 13:59

Just had scan all good but baby didn't wanna move so had to jump about a bit! Only 11.2 so going back for another one in a week or so Smile

wispaxmas · 29/07/2016 14:51

marjory, I bought a pair of maternity jeggings from the next sale and they are potentially the most comfortable things I've ever worn Grin

Scottish, h&m jeans are really long I found last time!

SkyLucy · 29/07/2016 14:53

That's interesting Sunshine....I suspect that's going to happen to me! I've got my scan on Monday when by LMP I'll be 12+5, but going by my emergency scan a few weeks ago I'll only be 11+3. I really didn't want to have to go back! Are you telling people after today's scan, or waiting 'til the next one? Congrats BTW!

Oh dreaming that's tricky. Do they know you're pg?

Lawyered - really pleased that you'll get your maternity package but I'm so jealous of how good it is!! Mine's an utter disaster...Mr SkyLucy keeps telling me it'll be okay but I do like having my own money! Bit late now though...Confused

Evergreen17 · 29/07/2016 15:07

Kellz good on you!!! Enough with that rubbish. If men were the ones getting pregnant nobody would complain about appointments

ButtonTum · 29/07/2016 15:10

Lawyered, phew what a relief!

Readyfortwo · 29/07/2016 15:46

lawyered that's great news!

ScottishSnowflake · 29/07/2016 15:50

Thanks wispa. Will give them a go Smile

Lawyered, so happy for you!!

gumbootsandjandals · 29/07/2016 15:57

Hi ladies!

I haven't been around for ages as physio told me to try and limit things that cause me pain. Typing on my phone causes me pain Sad

I've been thinking about you all. Haven't read thru the whole thread but last few pages, and seems a lot of good news around. Loving the bump pics!

I had my scan today. First time in 3 pregnancies baby has behaved and I was in and out in 25 mins (incl blood test) as opposed to the HOUR it has taken previously. Baby looked good. We only paid for one pic (£5!!!) but the lovely lady gave us 2.

I don't have much of a bump. I still have nausea. I am able to eat a lot more than I was though.

wispa I think you're the fb group contact? I will pm you re joining.

Dreamingoutloud7 · 29/07/2016 16:25

skylucy yeah both companies know I'm pg, I just have to keep calm and see what happens really, it's all beyond my control at this point Sad I'm hoping they don't find a buyer til Jan so I can just go on maternity leave and not give it another thought!

gumbootsandjandals · 29/07/2016 16:27

In other news, my 3yo also has a baby in her tummy. Apparently mine is called Polly and hers is Josh.

TheresaMarie55 · 29/07/2016 16:33

Scan went well, measuring exactly 13 weeks so due date has stayed the same at 3rd of February. Everything seems fine. Have to have the gtt because my other babies have both been on the larger side at birth bit that's OK x

CinderellaFant · 29/07/2016 16:38

What a brilliant scan pic Theresa! So clear!

I can't believe some of you have to pay for them, I've never paid for any with any of my children, sometimes we get given 6 or 7 at a time!

Sunshineface123 · 29/07/2016 16:53

Thanks sky have told a lot of people already as just couldn't wait but will tell everyone else after the next one! Smile

gumbootsandjandals · 29/07/2016 16:55

When I had my first the pics were free. I went in my Trust uniform and got given 12 or so.

With my second it was 2 pics for £5

Now it's 1 for £5, 3 for 10, and I'm sure there was an option to pay £15. 50 per card transaction. Nice little moneymaking scam they have going Angry

ScottishSnowflake · 29/07/2016 16:58

I have to pay for my pics when I go Tuesday Sad it was part of the information I was given. I'm West Midlands (sadly not Scotland)

kikisdelivery · 29/07/2016 17:06

Hello ladies!

Congrats on all the lovely scan pics and bumps! As this is my FTP, I don't really have a bump yet - it's more flab still, from all the bread and sugar I've been after.

Scan is Monday for me, morning time, thankfully, so not too much waiting around. I'll be distracted this weekend by visitors but Sunday night I probably won't sleep! I just want it over with in a way, because I'm kinda nervous having never had a prior scan before.

And like others, we'll have to pay for our pics, £3 a pop, plus they can't give change so it's correct cash only! I'm sure there's some sort of tax implication around that... Grin

SkyLucy · 29/07/2016 17:09

We have to pay for any pics too....£5 a pop, but you can pay more to have it put in a presentation card (?!). And the largest paragraph in my scan appointment letter was dedicated to info re parking costs....gonna be a pricey little trip!

LOVE that pic Theresa!

kikisdelivery · 29/07/2016 17:16

Thankfully I can cycle to mine, Sky. The parking charges here are silly - though probably not much different to other parts of the country! - so I'm definitely taking the two wheeled option.

Someone at work showed us his wife's scan pics recently, which were in a nice presentation card. No one knows about me yet, but she went to the same hospital, so maybe the £3 a picture'll be worth it!!

CinderellaFant · 29/07/2016 17:18

I'm Northern Ireland, I've never heard of paying here. We get a little cardboard folder frame too to keep it in for free too

February 2017 - Thread 4 (are we the chattiest bunch or what?!)
2ManySweets · 29/07/2016 17:18

I honestly don't have a bump. I've got total flab. Have had the whole month of July being the Biffer's Biffer (pastries each morning, carbs, fat, sugar, more carbs fat and sugar) and I've hit my limit.

Have got afternoon tea tomorrow - that'll be the last cake/sweetie passing my lips for a week at least.

Now you guys know why my username is my username. I dare not weigh myself Shock
