Argh a member of my team just popped over to my desk unexpectedly...as I was looking at the maternity policy! Minimised it quickly but she MUST have seen it...fx for good news at my scan on Mon, so I can finally announce the world's least surprising news ever on Tuesday!!

In other news, I don't feel quite as disgustingly sick today....

Also another girl to add to the group! Was convinced it was a boy but am thrilled it's a girl.

Just back from midwife, that's me officially booked in and have my notes! Feels very real now. Got my bounty back and Emma's diary pack and am getting excited looking at the mini tubs of sudocrem and breast pad samples. Due date 3rd February.

Hi All

I am new to mumsnet today. my husband and I are having a baby, due 3rd Febraury so I am 13 weeks tomorrow ! Ended up in hospital last night with a migraine - worst ever. Anyone else been struggling with migraines ? Other than that I feel fit and well. I ate so much in first trimester though - too scared to weigh myself but am def chubbier than I was !!! Looking forward to getting to know you all on here :-) zuki

Still on waiting for my harmony results. It's only been two days but feels a lifetime!

Welcome zuki! I was off work yesterday with a hideous headache, but nothing as bad as a migraine thankfully, poor you! For me, I think it's pollen related too - I get hayfever but currently can't take anything for it, so my head gets really stuffed up and it sucks!

My scan is a week tomorrow. I can't wait!

Well while waiting for my harmony test my nhs combined screening results have come back and to be honest I am very very surprised. I was expecting high to very high risk based on age etc.../ I now have an adjusted risk of 1:1457 for t21 and 1:20000 for t13 and t18.

Still pleased to have the harmony test result to come. As that will be a back up but waiting just got a lot more relaxed.

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works friendly but my due date was moved forward to 5 Feb at my scan yesterday!

Twocats I'm actually 26th by dates, but my scan put me a day ahead so I'm going with that for now...purely because earlier is better! I know a day doesn't really matter at this stage. No doubt I'll get moved again at 12 weeks...

Talking of scans, the postman's just been with my date. 15th August. Am thrilled as I didn't see the midwife until quite late so I assumed I'd have to wait longer.

Now I just need to work out how to tune out the stress...

My due date is now the 2nd rather than the 5th. Sorry friendly!

I thought I would try taking my pregnacare vitamins this morning but they still seem to make my nausea worse. Think I will stick to just folic acid and vitD for now!

Skylucy bounty packs are given by the midwife, then you get a voucher to get another one which you can pick up from asda boots or SuperDrug. They are full of useless leaflets but there's money off coupons in it for washing powder and stuff, some pregnancy guides and a sample of sudocrem, bepanthen, lanisoh breast pads, Persil liquid and comfort fabric softener.

When you have your baby you'll get another newborn pack in hospital, if I remember correctly you get a pampers nappy to sample, more nappy cream, small pack of baby wipes, trial size bubble bath, milk teeth toothpaste and things like that. I remember with my son I got a tin of Diet Coke in it but didn't with my daughter so think it just depends!
Emma's diary is the same thing- you get a voucher for it to pick up from Argos or boots.

This is my stash from today, not bad for free!

I can't wait for my scan ladies! It's the 8th as I prev mentioned. This is a SURPRISE baby... Our son is 16 and will be 17 by time this baby arrives. Totally shocked still can't believe it!
