Wow Cinderella I'm so happy for you!!! What an awful couple of days you must have had but what an amazing surprise for you today!!! Funny how so many of us on here are ahead of what was expected!! Maybe the next generation will be super tall!!

I have to say, that is an insane mistake for the first scanner to have made. The amount of distress he or she put you through is crazy!

cinderella what great news but what an awful time you've been put through, I would complain!!

Someone else mentioned they had heard good things about Luton and Dunstable hospital.... We had DS there and will be having this baby there too but not by choice, just because of maternity closures elsewhere locally. I would avoid them personally if you can help it! Just my opinion after a few bad experiences there!

My 12 week scan went well, all looks fine smile] my due date has moved forward 3 days to 2nd Feb. DD behaved herself too!

Hello everyone...can I join? I've been lurking for a while but was too nervous to join after an mmc earlier this year. But had a successful scan at the weekend, I'm now 9+4 and due 25th Feb.

Congrats Cinderella and everyone else who got to see their little one today! I have had another awful headache today and had to leave work early. I am trying to drink lots to keep dehydration at bay but I seem to be getting so many headaches at the moment. Paracetamol is all we can take right?

Why? Why? Why? Did I look at the ante natal testing board on here? Having a wobble about my harmony test results today (and have to wait till next week at the earliest for the results!) and stupidly looked on there and gahhhhhhhhhh.

Yay Evergreen! My scan's on the 5th. Am I right in thinking that's when you get married? I had my dd at a different hospital but thought the aftercare was rubbish and have heard good things about East Surrey from a couple of friends. It seemed nice when I went for my booking appointment.
Diva I read that board far too much last time and have banned myself this time. Remember people only post there if there's an issue. These issues are far less common than they seem on there.

Diva it's so easy to get sucked into a weird rabbithole of worry online. Haven't yet got my 12 week scan date but I'm having to actively keep myself away from those boards.

Great news on everyone's scans and cinderella I am so incredibly happy for you!!! I can't imagine how you must be feeling! london I'd be exactly the same as you so don't worry about being daft - such a stressful time but really glad that some reading up and a bit of distance since the scan has changed things. X

NHS dating scan tomorrow for me ladies - have had the harmony one already and obviously most importantly hoping everything is well with the baby but please cross your fingers for me that I am given a due date after 4th Feb (6months full pay) rather than before 4th Feb (statutory pay only)! Based on dates I am due on 4th Feb so it's pretty touch and go!

So kinda freaked out abit this morning! Had a dream that I was told I had a missed miscarriage when I went to the docs. Now woke up and freaked out abit!!

Shell, I am the worst for stress-dreams. I fully expect to have an appalling night's sleep on Sunday, filled with horrible dreams and thoughts about what'll happen on Monday!
