Of to work in a minute, it's like being in an oven so dreading it! skylucy the way you describe food is exactly how I feel at the moment! No pleasure in eating at all. blurgh.

divadee · 24/07/2016 08:16

So after just feeling so nauseous for weeks and weeks last night it turned into full on sickness. Gahhhhh. It wasn't a bug I'm sure of that but it was horrible. I thought I should be getting over it by now!

SBSparkles · 24/07/2016 08:28

Hi everyone. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and I'm so nervous I could cry. I can't stop worrying that my Ms stopped at 9 weeks. I have developed a linea nigra and still have some symptoms but I keep swinging between thinking it'll be ok and worrying it won't. Confused I wish I had a scan machine in my bedroom. Sad x

Shellbell0403 · 24/07/2016 08:44

Evergreen we are practically the same, I am 10+3 today! Were u on the pcos page BTW?
Well been nauseas during the night and sickness came this morning, same as you though radders felt sick last night but just went to bed! DH was our last night and bet I still feel worse than him with hangover wise except mine isn't drink related! Lol

Think I'm joining the dream crew also!! Had a very strange dream last night 🙈

Shellbell0403 · 24/07/2016 08:44

Sparkles don't worry I'm sure all will be OK xx

Evergreen17 · 24/07/2016 08:59

Sparkles dont worry!!! I have 0 symptoms apart from sore boobs and bloating

Best of luck!!!

Shellbell Yes I was!!! Then got pregnant right after GP said I wasnt ovulating. So weird but so great!!!!!

1 week and 5 days for my wedding ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

Workinzzz · 24/07/2016 09:00

Sparkles I didn't have sickness or nausea for my first pregnancy so please don't take that as a bad sign xx

Shellbell0403 · 24/07/2016 09:14

evergreen thought so!! Haha.. think I found out just after you did!! I was in denial and not testing haha! My scan date is 4th Aug... very nervous a out it incase somethings happened!

Ohhh will need to have a wee nosey on that site! Xx

SBSparkles · 24/07/2016 09:59

Thanks guys - it's more that I had it and it stopped!! Evergreen wow what an exciting couple of days you'll have!!!! Good luck for both!! StarStar

SBSparkles · 24/07/2016 10:09

Also, out of interest, does anyone else have a full heavy feeling in their baby baking area? I suddenly feel crampy but light cramps and heavy and the other day the sides of my groin were hurting. I can't find anything on Google (yes I need to stop googling things) xx

ButtonTum · 24/07/2016 10:16

Sparkles I've had some twingy pulling pains which come and go. Sometimes they hurt but out it down to uterus stretching. Unless it's extremely painful or accompanied by bleeding I think you're ok

Ever will you announce your pregnancy at your wedding??

ScottishSnowflake · 24/07/2016 10:23

Hi Sparkles, I've had the same on and off for about 4 weeks now so mentioned it to the midwife at my booking in appointment. She wasn't concerned and said it was just things stretching/ moving but that if I was in any way concerned I could chat to her and any of the midwifes and they'd get me in for a check-up to be on the safe side. She was absolutely lovely and said she'd rather hear from me even if it did turn out to be nothing to worry about!

SBSparkles · 24/07/2016 10:29

Snowflake I wish my midwife was like that! A lot of things I tell her (for eg being worried about nausea disappearing) she just sort of looks at me blankly and smiles. She kinda makes me feel stupid. She's nice enough but not equipped to put my mind at rest!

SBSparkles · 24/07/2016 10:30

I think round ligament pain can start now? It also came on after I walked about three miles with a heavyish bag!! Grin

ScottishSnowflake · 24/07/2016 10:46

I think it can Sparkles, I've had it that if I'm laying flat on my back and sneeze it pulls all my muscles down there and it's really painful for about a minute! Trying not to sneeze now!

Sorry to hear your midwife is not supportive Sad is there a community team that you can talk to at all?

divadee · 24/07/2016 10:51

Snap here on the foofoo pains and cramps in cervix.

And when I cough or sneeze when lying down flat gahhhhhh

wispaxmas · 24/07/2016 10:59

jojo I think you can do the other tests for quite a while. If you were high risk, what test would you want? I know I would want harmony, personally.

Radders, I just felt nauseous a lot from 6 weeks to almost 12 weeks and now nothing. Wasn't actually sick at all, luckily.

I do go back and forth between being ravenously hungry and not hungry at all. Morning I am starving and then come evening I don't feel like eating at all. We had no dinner last night, just a single chocolate digestive.

Evergreen, ooh wedding, how exciting !

MimiDiddy · 24/07/2016 11:03

Hello everyone, I've been lurking but not posting as I haven't had much luck with this pregnancy lark before now but I'm 12 weeks today, and I've never got this far before Grin.

I've been having the round ligament pain too for a couple of weeks, when I sneeze or blow my nose sometimes (wtf!), anyhow, I've found curling in a ball helps with the sneezing if I'm in bed. My poor DH thought I was having another MC the first time it happened and I woke him up with my pained noises Blush.

LondonGirl83 · 24/07/2016 11:04

button that dream made my husband laugh too

mystery I've only had one of the filthy sex dreams so I'm jealous you've had two!

Good luck with the upcoming scans. I have a massive headache and bad taste in mouth and soar boobs but the nausea isn't too bad (at the moment)

Shellbell0403 · 24/07/2016 11:45

OK ladies... I'm having abit of a meltdown moment just now and no-one else who will really understand...

I keep panicking that peanut has stopped growing or something has went wrong and I have missed it?! Can't shake this fear.. I was fine earlier and it's just creeped on me. Sorry for the ramble! Xx

GinandJazzHands · 24/07/2016 11:49

sparkles crossing fingers for you tomorrow; as others have said all sounds good to me - probably the placenta taking over a bit has eased your symptoms and those pains sound normal. I'm getting some discomfort too but it comes and goes.

ScottishSnowflake · 24/07/2016 11:55

Hi Shell, I'm the same tbh. I've not paid out of any early scans and my 12 week isn't for another 9days. I'm terrified I'll turn up and something will have gone wrong or baby will no longer be there. I'm trying not to think about it most of the time, but I had a cry yesterday as it just got a bit much. I guess it's only natural to worry. Is your scan anytime soon?

GinandJazzHands · 24/07/2016 12:09

Sorry shellbell we must have crossed posts so just noticed yours. Just remember if you are not having any bad pain and bleeding, likelihood is everything is fine. You were feeling sick last night and this morning too so all good signs. Know what you mean though, it's a scary time - I'm ten weeks tomorrow and will be very glad when we are all
at the 12 week mark.
Hugs for you Flowers

SBSparkles · 24/07/2016 12:11

Snowflake I generally find lying on my back to be a bit uncomfortable! I was trying to find my uterus as you're supposed to be able to feel it poking out but it's a mystery to me!
London I've had some really weird dreams including totally messed up dreams that I was embarrassed to tell my husband! He still teases me about one but I'll kill him if he tells anyone!!

SBSparkles · 24/07/2016 12:16

Shell I feel exactly the same! My husband and brother don't get it at all. I actually feel ill today with worry. I think the best thing you can do is accept that you'll worry and try to distract yourself as much as possible!! It seems to be really normal! Damn the Internet! I'd never even know about missed miscarriages if I hadn't read about them online!! Ignorance is bliss!
Gin thanks! That's what the midwife said. I'm just a worrier but what will be will be I suppose!!!
