Kellz I don't think the worrying stops it just changes. Instead of worrying about miscarriage you start worrying about other things. After they are born you worry about everything that could still go wrong as little babies. My mom still worries about me and I'm a happily married adult with a house and a good job in good health (knock on wood)!

I've just decided to accept that for the rest of my life (if I'm lucky) I'm going to have a new additional low lying anxiety about my baby.

lawyeredout82 · 21/07/2016 16:43

Diva - they told me results are usually back within 5 days (though official lab times say 7-14 days!). The sonographer said usually if you have the test on a Monday, you know by the weekend but no guarantees, depends on how busy the lab is, holidays etc xx

divadee · 21/07/2016 16:47

Lawyeredout wow that's great news!!!! So I may know by end of next week. Which would hopefully be before the dreaded nhs results anyway. I know they will come back high risk cos of age without the other factors!! Keeping everything crossed for you. Xxxx

radderss · 21/07/2016 18:11

Sausagedoggeorge - that's funny ... I always wanted a sausage dog called Trevor. I do have one now though but he is crossed with a Labrador too!

Thanks for all the info on harmony - really useful

SkyLucy · 21/07/2016 19:00

Radderss - a dachsie/lab?!?! Sounds gorgeous!! Can you post a photo??

radderss · 21/07/2016 19:20

Here you go skylucy. He is gorgeous! So pretty. We get stopped everywhere with him.
Not sure how he's going to cope with sharing all the attention when baby comes along Smile

February 2017 - Thread 4 (are we the chattiest bunch or what?!)
SkyLucy · 21/07/2016 19:41

Oh I LOVE him!! Grin

Dreamingoutloud7 · 21/07/2016 19:45

Back from our 9 week scan, baby is perfect, measuring right on track and heart beating beautifully, even gave us a little wiggle and a wave. So so relieved!!

radderss · 21/07/2016 19:45

Great news dreaming. So glad to hear!

divadee · 21/07/2016 19:55

Great news dreaming. Glad it was all ok.

ButtonTum · 21/07/2016 20:16

Excellent news dreaming

So sorry for your loss endmoor Flowers

Radders he is gorgeous!

Im 10+6 today and SUCH a fatty. Bloat is just irrepressible and I look like 6months+ gone right now at least. Question for mothers: when you have an actual baby bump does the bloat subside too? Can't cope with this!

radderss · 21/07/2016 20:23

Button it's funny you should say that because I've not long said to OH that I feel so fat and bloated at only 9 weeks and it's just going to get worse....
I am massive. We've just been going through holiday photos and I've deleted most of them as I look so chunky. It's really uncomfortable.

I'm hoping like you the bloated feeling subsides ....

H007 · 21/07/2016 20:34

Haha as you go further along the bloating swaps to water retention.

sausagedoggeorge I always wanted a sausage dog called pork 😆

endmoor so sorry for your loss.

I think the nausea and tiredness is shifting. I think I'm over the worse of it. Got my scan date through 4th August. One of my BF's is a sonographer at the hospital so fingers crossed I get her 😊

lawyeredout82 · 21/07/2016 20:48

Diva - the results have just come through!!! No Down's issues and it's a little girl! 🎀🎀🎀

radderss · 21/07/2016 20:54

Congrats lawyer. How far are you again sorry and finding out the sex??

How long did it take for people's scan date to come through?? I'm still waiting for mine - it has only been just over a week though since my booking in appointment.

radderss · 21/07/2016 20:56

Sorry lawyer just seen your last post at 11 plus 2. Must be amazing to also know the sex so early!

divadee · 21/07/2016 21:02

Oh wow lawyeredout that is brilliant news and you didn't have to wait long at all!!! Congrats on the baby girl. I am going to find out the sex as well.

LondonGirl83 · 21/07/2016 21:07

Congrats lawyered and dreaming!

I'm finding out the sex as part of the DNA test (Panorama not Harmony but same type of thing).

Is anyone doing the Harmony test and not finding out the sex? I just couldn't pass up the opportunity.

GinandJazzHands · 21/07/2016 21:50

Congrats lawyered and dreaming! radders he is gorgeous! So sorry for your loss endmoor Flowers. Have my booking in appointment and scan tomorrow, at 9+5. Moody, nauseous and bloated. A real treat at the moment!

SausageDogGeorge · 21/07/2016 22:28

ButtonTum I am exactly the same and I'm 10+6 today too! Due 10 Feb! I could easily pass as 6 months pregnant because of the bloating! It's ridiculous! I also get terrible gas!! Very glam this pregnancy - that and my anger issues/frequent melt downs / general awfulness I'm an absolute delight!!! Grin

SausageDogGeorge · 21/07/2016 22:29

H007 Pork! That's brilliant! Grin

ButtonTum · 21/07/2016 22:36

Glad it's not just me radders and sausage. CakeCakeCake

SpinALittleFaster · 21/07/2016 23:12

I'm the same too button. Trousers that were falling off me a few weeks ago were digging in to me today. I'm going to need maternity clothes soon if the bloating doesn't go away.

Exciting news lawyered. It seems crazy to know so early!

I'm so sorry for your loss endmoor Flowers

user1467983757 · 22/07/2016 01:29

Hello just wanting to join in! I'm told I'm due Feb 22nd my 12 w scan is on 8/8 I still can't believe I am pregnant so the scan can't come quick enough! Going to have a wee nosey at the posts to "meet" you all.

Readyfortwo · 22/07/2016 06:37

Ahh, lovely news lawyered....can't believe you know already!
