hi everyone, ive added abit to the stats thread!

keep thinking am still going to get af!stupid i know, weve been trying for so long so its hard to believe its real!!

had to re-test this morning just to make sure!!was darker line than last week!

told my mum today, who is over the moon for us.

went on ebay and bought a support belt in preparation!had v bad spd last time and couldnt walk,so am determined to do all i can to stop my pelvis falling apart this time!!!

still no morning sickness, which i usually get v bad and all way through, feeling queasy, but thats about it for now!!

buffythenappyslayer · 13/02/2007 13:57

greedys right,it doesnt hurt.

when i was pg with dd (my number 5) she was twins and i lost one at 12 weeks,i thought i was only 7 so when i went for the scan they did internal one.it doesnt hurt, just a few squelchy noises like greedy said and when she put the condom on i burst out laughing!!(prob more out of fear than anything else!!)

hope it goes well, and dont worry!!and remember you dont need a full bladder for an internal one!(i drank like you do for a normal one and she couldnt see anything and told me to go pee!!!)

greedyforbabies · 13/02/2007 14:00

i drank loads too buffy and felt like i was going to piss myself when they kept me waiting for 15mins! then i couldnt empty my bladder completely cos there was so much i it!

MrsMcJnr · 13/02/2007 14:14

Love the pic Greedy - looks like some kind of shrine!

ejt1764 · 13/02/2007 14:27

J20 - your GP is talking rubbish! Eat and drink as normal, but make sure you go to the loo before you go in as for this one they need an empty bladder.

It doesn't hurt - not something I'd choose to have as a routine thing, but I had one yesterday, and it's fair less uncomfortable than a smear test!

buffy - welcome and congratulations!

greedy - thanks for putting the headings in bold - didn't think of that, see!

oo it was the hospital that said that to him, i was sat their when he phoned them, its at 9 o clock so might still have my morning coffee, otherwise i will still be asleep when driving through rush hour traffic

ejt1764 · 13/02/2007 14:38

I have had 4 internal scans (including yesterday's) and have never been asked to limit food and drink intake ... bizarre!

Never mind - have your coffee and enjoy it!

Hi all, thanks for your messages.
Well definitely m/c again.
Been in hospital all day as they were worried about ectopic. Have to go back to confirm on Thurs. Still bleeding, but not much. I feel horrible, but not as bad as last time, as at least it is so much earlier.

My very best wishes to everyone else,
STx

Hello, everyone! Can I join in? I tested yesterday and am due on 25 October. Still can't quite believe it. I think someone else said they were scared to jinx it - I feel that way too. Anyway, this will be my second child (DD1 is 22 months).
