Ok I will keep them at home and take them to appointments
Thanks potato and soda
Shelb everywhere? Confused to work and back?

LisaTheSimpson · 24/06/2016 22:10

Miley, it's just bizarre, isn't it? It's like the guy has no ounce of self-awareness at all, and no idea of what he's actually done.

I couldn't believe some of the stuff he was coming out with.

shelbTa · 24/06/2016 22:30

Ever - i haven't been doing until last week but think will do now.

Some good tea choices ladies. I had some artichoke anti pasti things, and pasta and meatballs.....and a kabanos....and Belgian chocolate mousse.

Oh has shown me no attention tonight, douche.

shelbTa · 25/06/2016 08:45

Evergreen17 · 25/06/2016 08:58

Shleb nct?? No idea Confused but good luck Grin

Danni89 · 25/06/2016 09:01

Congrats on your last day potato!

Good luck shel let us know how it goes!

Hi to everyone else! Anyone got any nice weekend plans? I'm taking my mum for afternoon tea later.. Mmm bring in the cakes!!

Feefeefs · 25/06/2016 09:11

I had steak for dinner last night! I think it's the first craving ice had every time I eat one it's like the best thing ever and my tummy is really settled afterwards and I sleep really well! Trust me to have an expensive craving!! DH is having none of it!

PotatosMum · 25/06/2016 09:44

Morning ladies, how are you all today?

Miley spoil sport, I guess I'll have to do my own cleaning Wink

Shelb how did you fit all that food in?!

Good luck with NCT.

Danni afternoon tea sounds nice, I'm not sure at all what we're going to do. I think we need to do something though otherwise the DSC will just sit glued to the Xbox all day and I like to be mean to them by making them go outside Muahahaha!

Feef mmmmm steak, my favourite. I miss having it medium with blue cheese and port source though.

So, walked into the kitchen half asleep this morning and nearly got killed by a sleeping bag... On closer inspection smallest DSC had left it in the middle of the kitchen for reasons best known to her. No common sense what so ever that one.

31 weeks today, need to look up what Potato is, I'm so ready for her to be born. She feels like she's lying really low now and the muscles around my hips are so lose that I nearly dislocated one of them putting my jeans on yesterday! Shock
I really will pack my hospital bag tonight!

OP posts:
Mileymoocow · 25/06/2016 10:24

potato yep! Get that bloody bag packed Wink T minus 9 weeks....eeeeeeek!!!!!!

I'm 25 weeks today and underwhelmed by ovia's size comparisons as they're mainly things I can't visualise. Been out for a long walk with the dog, going to go to asda to sort tea out and then I'm doing nothing but watch football from 2pm Grin hope everyone is enjoying their days.

feef earlier on I would have murdered a grown man for a rare steak. I ordered medium rare surf and turf (after googling the hell put of whether that was ok or not) and I felt the exact same way. I imagine my elation will be comparable to that of when my child is born 😂 obviously kidding but it was bloody amazing

PotatosMum · 25/06/2016 11:39

Miley Ovia gave me a otter today, I love otters Smile
I can't believe you're 25 weeks already Shock

OP posts:
Mileymoocow · 25/06/2016 11:44

Ooooh I love otters too! They're pretty bloody big so at least you can visualise. I can't wait to see who has the first baby of the group, I'm genuinely soooo excited! I know, it really has flown since the sickness stopped. It's pretty shocking when I mention I only have 15 weeks left to people considering before I fell pregnant I was all 'oh 9 months is such a long time! It'll definitely drag, it's 3/4's of a bloody year!' Ha! How wrong was I.

Sodasoda · 25/06/2016 12:46

feef / miley - I bloody love steak! But it needs to be very rare preferably with a bottle couple of glassss of red wine so I haven't had any steak in a while. First meal once baby is here!

miley I find the ovia comparison strange sometimes. Last week it was a bunch of bananas. Seriously? Well how many bananas? How big? Seemed daft to me. This week is a coconut which is much better!

To those who remember my tales of waxing from earlier on (frozen peas on foof) I'm pleased to report I went back this morning and it was SO much better. If anyone is braving waxing do what the lady told me to do - get a morning appointment, don't go after work when you're already hot and fed up!

Off to a hen do this afternoon just for the day / evening so shouldn't be too wild, for me anyway!

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Mileymoocow · 25/06/2016 12:55

soda I'd have thought a bunch of bananas was bigger than a coconut! Bloody ovia. I Google my cabbage and this is supposedly how big baby is now...seems bloody massive. Pleased your foof isn't on fire! I must must must book in to get mine done. How can I prune it if I can't even see it?!

IndiX · 25/06/2016 16:47

Hi ladies.
Just got back to Scotland after a 6 hour drive alone with my 2 dogs. My back is killing me and I'm knackered but it's lovely to see DH and be back in my own surroundings.

I agree with the ovia comparisons, this week it was a GI Joe doll or a puffin. I'd say a puffin is bigger than a doll. Also they all vary between different apps so I usually just pick the one that seems the biggest as I'm sure I'm going to have a very long child.

Hope you're all well

ElleSarcasmo · 25/06/2016 17:09

Hello everyone!

Hope NCT goes well Shelb. Will look forward to you reporting back!

Yes to pudding feet Miley Sad I've had cankles too. I'm only 17+5, wtf awaits my ankles?!

Wow to 6 hour drive Indi, that sounds tough on the back. My gym does pregnancy massage which I keep meaning to book as my back is achy too.

You've all made me want a steak now!

ElleSarcasmo · 25/06/2016 17:10

The size things are confusing, I never know if they mean head-bottom ie curled up, or if you stretched them flat! No explanation is given!

PotatosMum · 25/06/2016 17:29

Miley maybe it's time to start a book on who will pop first Wink

Soda my first meal will also be a nice bloody steak... With a starter of pate... And followed by blue cheese... All accompanied by a nice bottle of wine. Oh god that sounds amazing Smile
Have fun at your hen do Smile

Elle I think it's head to rump up until a certain number of weeks (that I can't remember) then it jumps to head to toe Confused

Just agreed with OH that the large dining room in the new house should be my office for the foreseeable future, and the best bit... He's adamant that it was his idea Grin result!

Afternoon ladies

So - nct was quite good, bit touchy feely but very informative. And looks like could be quite a good support group of women (although this thread is top support group, obvs! Wink).

One thing the midwife said which was quite interesting - of all the myths to do with being preggo, in her experience - heartburn means your baby will be born with hair as opposed to a little baldy.

Potato - she also showed us how far down in the pelvis the baby is when engaged - it's very low!!! No wonder we feel pressure down there Blush

Mileymoocow · 25/06/2016 17:40

God shelb I'm harbouring a monkey then! Not surprising really as OH is a hairy man and we were both born with lots of dark hair.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 25/06/2016 17:40

Food I can deal with not having. What mis sig, which is ridiculous, is prosecco! Given that I had a drink maybe on every few weeks I'm gobsmacked at myself!

Having a catch up, people messing with wires knocked all the Internet all day.

PotatosMum · 25/06/2016 18:33

Shelb I'm glad the group was good Smile
I certainly feel like I've got a babies head between my hips so that doesn't surprise me!!! Whenever a walk for very long I'm honestly worried I'm going to go into labour Shock

Stark I only used to drink one or two glasses every other week but I'm absolutely gagging for alcohol! I've been heard walking through the alcohol isle of the supermarket saying "only 9 weeks until I can become an alcoholic!" Blush

OP posts:
Nevlet · 25/06/2016 18:40

Evening! Been away at my parents and not had time to keep up on the thread.

Hope we are all having a good weekend... 30 weeks tomorrow! Eek!

shelbTa · 25/06/2016 19:11

I'm with you ladies on the booze! Bizarrely I really fancy a double rum and Coke which I've never had before.

X

Nevlet · 25/06/2016 19:23

An ice cold bucket glass of sauvignon blanc would go down a treat right now!!

PotatosMum · 25/06/2016 19:30

Nev woohoo! On reaching 30 weeks! It's the final countdown! that song get stuck in my head every time I work out how long I've got left Confused

I really, really want a nice pint of cider (or six) preferably while sat on a sun lounger in our new garden, roll on August Smile

Potato has a new game, it's called kick mum in the ribs as hard as you can, I'm not a fan Hmm
