Hopefully the festive period will make it go faster though magpie that's what I'm hoping anyway!!

KimberleyAnn · 17/11/2016 22:51

I am finishing work on 16th December. I'm due 9 Jan. Feeling so tired not sure how to get through the next 3 weeks. I stared at the screen for quite awhile today!!! Not very productive!!

Has everyone got most of there things now? I need to pack my hospital bag this weekend and baby bag

Xxx

hopingandwaiting · 18/11/2016 18:56

Oh kimberley I also finish 16th December and I'm sorry to say that it's actually 4 weeks away!!

I have most big stuff. Need the isofix base for the carpet and some kind of bouncer/rocker. Slowly starting to gather little things like nappies, cream etc. Will probably leave it a few more weeks before packing, but I'm not due till 22nd Jan.

KimberleyAnn · 18/11/2016 21:05

See! I can't even get that right lol! Roll on the 16th!

Xxx

SunCrusHH · 20/11/2016 18:22

Hello ladies! Sorry I haven't been on this thread in a while. I'm on the Facebook group and lost my password for here and kept meaning to reset it! Anyway hello! I will be 32 weeks on Tuesday.... where has the time went. Still feeling good other than appetite is going funny again. I'm hungry then a few mouthfuls and I'm full. How is everyone else?

Imstickingwiththisone · 20/11/2016 19:25

Ah I've got barely anything yet! Well I do, I have the big things sorted but no baby grows, vests, nappies or changing bag yet which I'll need pretty much straight away! Im having one of those moments when I remember I'm actually having a baby! I get so caught up with my pregnancy problems I forget...it can't just be me who does this!

KimberleyAnn · 21/11/2016 23:34

Can someone please tell me where I can find the Facebook group? Smile

I keep worrying I haven't got everything even though this is my second. I feel like it's my first time it's bizarre! Xxx

SunCrusHH · 22/11/2016 08:24

We finally have nursery furniture. Just need to decorate the room and then get it all built. I think we have all the essentials now but if not then shops are 24 hours these days! That's my chain of though haha

MagpieCursedTea · 22/11/2016 12:01

I still need to wash DS's old clothes, buy the side sleeper and probably some other things and I haven't even looked at my hospital bag. I'm so much more disorganised this time around!

Completely forgot about this thread for a while! All seems to be going very well and baby is developing well, but I am suffering with pelvic and pubic bone pain, back ache, constant indigestion, clumsiness, fainting, insomnia, nausea and the constant need to pee! Very standard problems that we are all experiencing I am sure.

I am 32 weeks now and everything is prepared and ready for baby. I am so done with being pregnant now as I am so fed up of feeling so low, and I am getting very impatient and just want to meet my little one and feel like myself again. I feel so ridiculous whinging about it as I love the baby moving about inside, but I am not loving being pregnant at all. Anyone else the same?

I am finishing full time work at Christmas as our office shuts until the new year, then working a few days a week at the start of Jan. Officially my maternity leave starts at 39 weeks which is mad when I think about my long commute to London and back and the tiring days! My body is definitely slowing down now, which is quite frustrating when my mind is still so active and keeps trying to get stuff done.

KimberleyAnn · 29/11/2016 22:05

Hels18 - Maternity starting at 39 weeks, that is some going especially with a commute! I was going up to 38 weeks but I have brought it forward a week.

I am also having aches and pains and generally feel very uncomfortable. I just want to get up to Christmas and enjoy some time at home and actually enjoy the pregnancy without rushing around like a nutter!

Is anyone from Sussex area?

X x

SunCrusHH · 30/11/2016 08:42

I'm finishing at 37 weeks but on annual leave for 2 weeks so officially mat leave from 39 weeks.hats off for working until 39! I'm 33 now and starting to slow down. Everything is a bit more tiring. Haha feeling like an old lady

hels18 · 30/11/2016 11:35

I'm definitely thinking I'm going to regret the decision, but I do love my job and they are making it as easy as possible for me. Hopefully the commuting will be ok before/after rush hour.

I was definitely having a down week last week as feeling so much more positive this week. So excited to be on the last stretch (almost 33 weeks!) and nice to hear that baby is measuring spot on and my health is generally good. Physio and yoga have been helping my pelvis.

Baby is currently breech though, so hoping it turns itself soon or I'll be scanned at 36 weeks to confirm the position and to start planning for a breech birth.. eek!

I'm from West Kent @KimberleyAnn, so not a million miles from me :)

Vixxfacee · 30/11/2016 19:22

I also fell off the thread. It hasnt come up in my threads I am on.

I was supposed to finish work at 39 weeks but they have let me go on full pay until maternity leave starts! I am very lucky although their reasons are slightly dodgy.

32 weeks tomorrow. My stomach is still tiny but on the growth chart everything is growing as it should. I know he is getting bigger though as I can feel arms and legs! I am still suffering from sickness but apart from that I am loving being pregnant. Last few weeks I have not been sleeping properly. Very frustrating.

I have my pram now (navy bugaboo chameleon) and I am waiting for a mamas and papas delivery for some clothes and bouncer. I still have so much to get but have a list and will get everything in the boxing day/ January sales.

How is everyone else getting on?

Hanbeth84 · 30/11/2016 19:42

Catch up time! Also 32 weeks tomorrow and slightly freaking out about December being the last full month of being pregnant in all likelihood.
Nothing concrete to moan about and enjoying being pregnant still but certainly starting to struggle more. Feel really lazy as can only do a little and slowly. Crawled round asda earlier (and made the pharmacist laugh as i walked past him so as a hard kick made me jump). Still struggling in bed as my hips/thighs - mainly legs really ache but could be lot worse. Movements are getting rather intense now too. I actually leapt of sofa last night and couldn't sit down again!
Going on a National trip to see Rod Stewart and Birmingham Christmas market on friday and excited but rather worried about a. The vibrations at the concert and b. Waking round busy market.
Helping medical students practice on preggo ladies tomorrow and then hairdressers so nice and pampering.
Got weekend of work and then 4 weeks left. Only do 2 nights/3days. Finish 8am 2nd Jan. Its very light work but looking forward to finishing.

KimberleyAnn · 30/11/2016 21:09

Wow it's so lovely hearing how everyone else is getting on. It's the final countdown for us all! Star

The thread doesn't seem to notify me when someone reply so I must remember to check it. I still can't find the Jan Facebook group is anyone here on it?

Who has confirmed their names??? We are still undecided xxxx

Imstickingwiththisone · 30/11/2016 23:09

Everyone sounds so positive I hope it rubs off on me, I feel a right misery guts.

I had planned to watch a band on Sunday, earlier in my pregnancy, but when problems started I decided against it. So relieved I did now, I feel like an old woman. I don't want to be pregnant anymore, but also dont feel well enough to look after a newborn! Determined to make December good for my DD as all I've said for weeks now is 'not today darling, mummys poorly'. If I end up being out the game with a c section in January I at least want to give her a good time on the run up to the birth.

hels18 · 01/12/2016 15:04

Yay for the start of December!! We get to meet our babies next month! I cannot wait to get this wriggly little one out of me and to feel human again :) It kept me up all last night after throwing itself around in my womb practising some gymnastics moves. Finally managed to film it and you can really see the outline of it's body and head popping out.

We have a top three list for both boys and girls names, but have decided we won't make a decision until we have met the little one first. It's too difficult to decide! My husband isn't too keen on the girls name I love so i have some persuading to do if it is a girl!

Hanbeth, you'll be fine at the concert and I bet baby will love it! I've been to a few concerts and shows recently and baby loves the music and vibrations and has a little dance :) Wear a baby on board badge if you are feeling a little vulnerable in the market as it may make people a little more cautious.

Just experienced my first major hormone melt down! Just had a cry in the office loos as found out my dad booked the same tickets that I was getting for my mum for her Christmas gift. Mum and I had planned my first baby free night out to see someone we both really love in a show next year, and my dad swooped and booked it for her, leaving me out. I am so gutted but blaming my complete over reaction on my hormones!

By the way, I think the facebook group is a secret one so it wont show up on the search. Not sure who is admin on it.

RachaelMary04 · 19/12/2016 14:42

Hi Smile
I'm due on 29th January, it will be my first so am rather nervous about it! So far everything seems to be going well.. although I am experiencing third trimester "morning" sickness! Sad

KimberleyAnn · 27/12/2016 22:10

Not long now everyone!!!!!!!

So exciting I can't wait! I am due 9th Jan. X

Vixxfacee · 02/01/2017 21:02

This thread is so quiet! How is everyone?

I can't believe we will be having our babies this month.

I am 36.4. The baby is wriggling around more than ever. Still have sickness but luckily not suffering from any other symptoms. Will have a sweep at 39 weeks.

I have started on raspberry leaf tea now. I have all off the baby things needed. Countdown is on!

How is everyone else? Has anyone had their baby yet?

PippaRose · 02/01/2017 21:18

I've posted a few times here but not for ages. Our January baby was born just before Xmas and we got to take him home on Christmas Day!

Been an amazing and exhausting few days.

Hope all is well with everyone else!

Vixxfacee · 02/01/2017 21:30

Hi Pippa, congratulations! When was your due date?

PippaRose · 02/01/2017 22:00

20th Jan so was unexpected! All ok though after a couple of days in hospital

Vixxfacee · 02/01/2017 22:31

Oh wow! How much did he/she weigh and can you share your birth story?
