Hels sorry to hear the sickness made a reappearance! I find movements can sometimes make me feel queasy.

Rollonjanuary welcome!

Lucy thanks for the tip! I need to go have a proper look at them and decide whether I really should get one or just stick with the existing pushchair and sling plan.

I'm ill again for the billionth time this pregnancy. I manage to catch everything going at the moment.

Morning ladies! 20+6 today. Scan today also. Feeling very nervous. Just hoping all is ok. My scan isn't until 4 so it will be a long day for me!

In terms of buggies we are doing a single one. Spoke about a double and if we go for a second it will be once this one is 2+ plus so buggy board for us. It is something to think about though if you want them all close together though!

Also my bump is squidgy! It's popped out now but still not hard if that makes sense. If I wear mat jeans with a bump band or may lights that seems to help shape it!

SunCrusHH · 05/09/2016 08:37

Mat tights not may lights haha

MagpieCursedTea · 05/09/2016 08:51

Good luck today Sun!

Good luck sun, hope all goes well! I know what you mean about your bump - mine really only pops out properly when I am sitting, but when I am standing I don't think it looks like a real baby bump in some outfits!

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow, so excited to see it wriggling again, especially as I am getting quite a bit of movement now. So far we are both in agreement to keep gender a secret until Jan, although I will definitely be seeing if I can spot anything on the image!!

Vixxfacee · 05/09/2016 15:49

Good luck for the scans everyone! I have mine on Monday.
I am 19.4 now and not feeling any movement. Bit worried.

longingforsun · 05/09/2016 15:57

Me too, I'm 19.3 and still no movement yet. This isn't my first pregnancy either and I felt movements from 16 weeks last time, my 20 week scan is next Wednesday and I'm getting more concerned each day, I'm even having dreams of the baby moving its playing on my mind so much

Hanbeth84 · 05/09/2016 16:47

Good luck with the scans everyone. I can't believe we're at this stage already! Mines not till next wednesday (20 + 6) and i'm so excited and apprehensive all at the same time. Keep thinking it is an anomoly scan and worrying they'll find something.
I've been feeling movements for a few weeks now but I think I talked my self into feeling them at the beginning. Discovered my insides must be quite ticklish in places lol. You shouldn't be too concerned though if not feeling them as it does say upto 22 weeks is normal. Although thats easier to say than do I know.
Getting bit scared by all the buggy talk as there's too much choice and I don't know where to start.

CharminglyGawky · 05/09/2016 17:01

I've had my scan... Well kinda, baby wasn't playing ball so we have scan take 2 next week! Saw movement and heart and wriggly toes so it was nice even if it was a very long time in hospital for no real results!

I'm glad others aren't feeling much movement yet either, I've been feeling the odd movement for a while but they aren't very obvious and certainly not predictable!

Prams are sooooo confusing! I think I know what car seat I want so am tempted to by the pram to match. Especially as the car seat apparently tilts so that it can lie fully flat for newborns when attached to pram. I like that idea! They aren't cheap though Shock Especially as I like the cybex range!

MagpieCursedTea · 05/09/2016 17:28

Good luck to everyone with upcoming (and repeat!) scans. We're at that halfway point already!
Those feeling little or no movements, do you have an anterior placenta? It can make a massive difference. I had one last time but have a posterior one this time and I can really notice the difference in movements.

OP posts:
Vixxfacee · 05/09/2016 18:05

Made me feel a bit better knowing I'm not the only one not feeling anything. I'm still being sick and my boobs are looking very different. The right one leaked the other day!

But I just feel like I should be feeling something as I'm half way through!
Not sure about anterior placenta.

As for prams I really don't know either. My
Dp said the bugaboo and I candy are ugly Confused

peonylover22 · 05/09/2016 18:34

We had bugaboo and i candy on our list but have ended up with a Joolz day which we found in a mothercare superstore. I found it smoother and better looking than the bugaboo and I candy

Janubub · 05/09/2016 19:46

I didn't feel anything until 20w exactly and that was only when sat quietly. A week or so later I started to occasionally feel the baby move when I was standing up. I still don't feel it that much and worry if I haven't felt anything for a while. I do wonder how long it will take me to settle into a "routine" of expected movements - I'm not sure I'd know if something is wrong at this stage because the movement day to day can be really varied.

No leaky boobs yet - Vixx what have you done about them leaking?!

Vixxfacee · 05/09/2016 19:56

I will take a look at the joolz buggy.

I haven't done anything but be mildly amused! It's just the right one at the mo

Surf25 · 05/09/2016 20:19

Exciting to hear about folks 20 week scans! Hope they all go well. I have an anterior placenta, same as with my previous 3 dc and I think it definitely makes a difference, I have always felt movements relatively late on compared to friends etc. So this time even though am expecting twins I suppose my placenta is even bigger as they are sharing it so I am only feeling light movements occasionally. Looking forward to feeling them more regularly and picking up on their rhythm!
In a bit of a quandary over whether to find out sex or not. Are any of you of a different opinion to your OH? I like not knowing it he wants to know! We have scans every fortnight so I have this dilemma all the time!!!

SunCrusHH · 05/09/2016 20:21

Scan went well but baby wouldn't let them get the last measurement so we will go back in a few weeks. They aren't concerned about anything. I have had a little movement. Placenta is posterior but at scan today baby was jumping about and I didn't feel any of it! Don't panic!

Muffintops87 · 05/09/2016 21:04

I am due on the 24th, the day before my 30th birthday! 20 weeks tomorrow, not sure if I am feeling movements or if it is just random muscle twitches and wind!

Our 20 week scan is on Thursday, feeling quite anxious and not been able to sleep well at all. Been suffering with HG since week 6 and I have been on medication ever since to help. Not been the best time ever but it feels like it might be getting better.

Vixxfacee · 05/09/2016 21:33

Congratulations on the scan sun! So strange that a baby that size can be in there moving and you can't feel it.

Surf we definitely both want to find out. People say don't you want a surprise but we both think it is a surprise when ever you find out.

Muffin you are 2 days ahead of me. Do you have a bump? Scaniexty is horrible. I think alot of us feel that anxiety. I had a miscarriage, infertility and ivf and I can't believe I will have a baby at the end of this. Nervous about mine on Monday too.

What medication are you on? I'm on cyclizine but still having sickness

longingforsun · 05/09/2016 21:38

Thank you all for putting my mind at rest, I think was just panicking because it's one of the first things people ask, if your feeling the baby move yet and I'm getting concerning looks back when I say no and comments like it was never this late for me. Added to the fact this pregnancy is so different to my previous

Vixxfacee · 05/09/2016 21:42

I know a lot of people are against them but having a doppler has really helped me with anxiety especially as no movement and a barely there bump!

Honestly the best £20 I ever spent.

MagpieCursedTea · 05/09/2016 22:35

Sun glad the scan went well! So many people seem to need to go back for a repeat scan as babies refuse to cooperate!

OP posts:
SunCrusHH · 06/09/2016 07:59

I have on a tight dress at work today! Bump is out loud and proud!

CharminglyGawky · 06/09/2016 12:29

Vixx I have leaky boobs too! They are really annoying me and I am going through loads of pyjama tops! During the day it's ok as I tend to wear moulded bras so there is no way anything can soak through that and then the bras go in the wash. But at night I don't want to wear a bra, plus I think boobs need to dry. I spent the weekend at my parent's house so wore bras constantly as I didn't fancy them seeing damp patches... by the time I got home my nipples were really sore. So I've gone back to just leaking over my pyjamas and doing lots of washing!

Pads are huge and bulky so it feels like wearing a night time sanitary pad for a bit of discharge, so not bothering with them either.

Weirdly it's my right boob that has gone bonkers as well, my left has leaked a couple of times but the right one leaks loads.

Duckyneedsaclean · 06/09/2016 13:06

CharminglyGawky some breast pads are really thin - lasinoh are the best imo.

And hi everyone, I've been off for a while but just catching up! I'm 22+3 and about as big as I was at 8 months with previous single pregnancies. Feel really heavy, and(massive tmi) I'm all swollen erm.. down below. Don't remember that happening before!

CharminglyGawky · 06/09/2016 13:21

Ducky, I have the lanisoh ones! I'm keeping them as I'm sure they will be useful once I'm breast feeding but they are just too big for random leaking, I'm leaking enough to make a mess of a t-shirt but it's still not that much overall.

I can't imagine how heavy twins must feel, I feel heavy and stretched and there is only one in there.
