Haha SunCrusHH I really shouldn't have. But it was so much money off! I had to.

Maltesers1987 · 12/07/2016 19:17

Hi ladies, I have posted before but I don't seem to have been added to the list, due date now 20th January, moved forward a little from my scan yesterday making me now 12+4.
Hope everyone is doing well?
btw is there a facebook group for our thread?

hopingandwaiting · 12/07/2016 19:19

Haha Ducky we also bought stuff on Prime Day - a similar bottle set for 50, a baby carrier (well, 2 as my wife couldn't make up her mind so trying them out then sending one back), a room and bath thermometer and a nappy bin. Far too early - I'm only 12 weeks tomorrow and scan not till next Tuesday, but we figured spreading the cost would be better in the long run.

Massively bloated today - struggling to hide the bump so went to Debenhams and got 3 loose fitting dresses in the sale. Will hopefully be a bit more comfortable at work now!

So lovely to hear of everyone's scans - am super excited for next week, when I'm not busy panicking!

Tabitha78 · 12/07/2016 20:22

So pleased for you Ginger and Carrot! I'm so glad I've got a busy weekend, just want the scan to be here now!

Whipped out my Baby on Board badge today - feels a bit early, but Tube was stupidly hot and packed and I've been travelling all day. Felt very grateful to be offered a seat straight away!

MagpieCursedTea · 12/07/2016 20:57

Malteasers there is a Facebook group. Evans runs it, I'll let her know to pop over here to add people.

Duckyneedsaclean · 12/07/2016 21:18

Moody press the 3 dots on Evan's post, pm is one of the options.

MoodyOne · 12/07/2016 21:29

GingerIdiot · 12/07/2016 22:36

Hi Evans I sent you a PM a couple of weeks ago with my address, did you get it ok?

MagpieCursedTea · 12/07/2016 22:48

Moody that man behind the bump tshirt is hilarious!

OP posts:
EvansAndThePrince · 13/07/2016 13:05

I've now responded to all PMs!!

You should have an email invite. Smile

I got my man that shirt last time round, I'll have to hunt it out Grin

gingerlou84 · 14/07/2016 11:26

Amazing t-shirts Moody!!

I have both my booking in appointment and scan tomorrow afternoon - a marathon session! I'm trying not to be nervous but will be really glad once it's over. I haven't had any early scans or anything so this will be the first time I get confirmation that there is actually a baby in there!

hels18 · 14/07/2016 11:54

Now I've had my scan and am officially in the second trimester, I can't stop looking at baby bits online! Desperately want to buy everything, but making myself wait so I don't take over the spare room (nursery!) with boxes and bags too early!!

Yay that I have finally managed to eat dinner as my evening sickness is letting up :) Also, boo to the heartburn that seems to have started this week :(

sunnypeony · 14/07/2016 12:03

I had my scan and all was well- such a wriggly little baby in there! Still hasn't sunk in yet.....!! Although it's nice to start to share the news.

Signoritawhocansway · 14/07/2016 16:11

Welcome newbies - and so pleased to hear about positive scans.

I however am suffering from HG, so I have zero energy to go through and update the list. If anybody feels like doing it for me, that would be great. Will come back hen I'm more human - scan next Tues for me.

gingerlou84 · 15/07/2016 19:01

Signorita that sounds horrible. I hope it eases off soon.

Welcome to the newcomers! Smile

I had my scan today and all seems well - one baby, two arms, two legs and all developing well. Such a relief and a joy to see him/her moving about in there!

Tabitha78 · 15/07/2016 19:23

Congrats sunny and ginger!

MagpieCursedTea · 15/07/2016 19:50

Great news sunny and ginger!

Signorita I hope you feel better soon!

I'm getting loads of pelvic pain today. I think I might've over done it even though I've not done that much. About to get in the bath to see if that helps. I've also tried sitting on my yoga ball. Any other tips would be appreciated!

OP posts:
CarrotVan · 16/07/2016 09:12

Pelvic tilts, pelvic floor exercises, cat/cow stretches

There's a blog called 'birthing bliss' which has a yoga routine for SPD/PGP pain

MagpieCursedTea · 16/07/2016 09:51

Thanks carrot, I'll have a look! The bath really helped. I suggested to DH that we put a birthing pool in the living room that I can spend the next 6 months in but doing some yoga might be more practical.

I'm really struggling. 14+1 wks now and I have Degenerative Disc Disease in lower spine, a few discs affected. Been in such pain and discomfort. Today I leant over ever so slightly and had a huge pain shot through my lower spine. Been crippled up ever since. Moving my head, arms and legs is almost reducing me to tears. I dont know what to do. 😢
Luckily my DP is looking after me n children. But I'm feeling frustrated and hopeless. Also starting to feel like such a twat for getting myself pregnant 😭
I'm in high risk antenatal care team so thinking maybe to call the docs on Monday? I'm in so much pain.

MagpieCursedTea · 16/07/2016 20:14

That sounds awful Jodie, I would definitely give your team a call on Monday. I'm glad you've got your DP there to look after you and the kids. Don't feel bad for needing to take it easy, your body has loads going on. I hope your team can find a way to give you some relief from the pain.
