A middle name for Violet

Any ideas for middle names for dd2, who we're going to call Violet? Our surname has 4 syllables, begins with F and ends with u (not English). Do you like Violet Penelope? (Penelope is my dm's name) or do you think Violet needs something shorter and sweeter to complement it? How about Violet Nina or Violet Maeve? - would it look too much llike Violet Mauve?? Please let your creativity run wild as I'd love something beautiful and original but very classy.

Ta!

The Affleck's little girl is Violet Anne, so I wouldn't necessarily want to emulate their choice....pretty though

Do you like the name Mirabelle? I think it's quite sweet

springbean, you and I like the same names.
Dd has 3 of the more unusual names you've mentioned.
I really wanted Violet, but dp thought not.
Lovely names.

my Grandma was Violet Mary which would go well with a long surname

I agree that Violet Penelope sounds lovely together and I know (cos I gave my ds a 'family' middle name) that it is a lovely thing to give your child a family name.

If you really want her to just have a name that's 'hers' though I understand that - of the ones here I like Violet Alice or Violet Elise. They are names which go together - sorry but I think Violet Belle REALLY doesn't go, they are names it seems from different eras and different styles completely........IMVHO
