Almond, I'd definitely get that seen to!

Littlegrey, thinking of you every day and hope today is positive for you

Tiredmum I'm glad your son has come through his surgery and hope his recovery is smooth :)

I'm dying to go shopping but I'm still so super cautious in case something goes wrong :/

tiredmumrighthere · 24/05/2016 10:11

Thank you for your concern need-smells-almond and Beelze! All is well here Smile

Good luck for today little and need Flowers

smellsofelderberries · 24/05/2016 18:44

Work wasn't as bad as yesterday but it's just taken me 1 hour 45 to go 3 miles and the busses are now terminating due to stand-still traffic, and there isn't a train for 45 mins. Have bailed on getting home for now so DH can come have dinner with me. It took almost all my remaining strength to not just start sobbing on the street like a loony Sad and Angry

BeedlesPineNeedles · 24/05/2016 18:49

Good luck with the scan need not much longer to wait now!

smells you poor thing, hope you feel better after dinner with DH

needanewjob · 24/05/2016 20:29

Scan went really well. All looks super healthy and it's a baby boy! In fact it's very definitely a baby boy!!! talking names already!!

smellsofelderberries · 24/05/2016 20:53

Oh need that is such fantastic news!!! So happy for you!

onthemetro · 24/05/2016 20:55

Need, how exciting!!

Smells, hope you can enjoy the rest of your evening, I had the same bursting into tears urge when I had JUST missed my bus home and had to wait 25 mins for another :( felt like having a tantrum!

How are we all doing symptom wise? My nausea has eased off unless I let myself get too hungry, so it's not ruining my life like it was a few weeks ago. But boob pain has been just insane today - it's a good job I wasn't working because I've been braless all day with a hot water bottle shoved up my tshirt Blush

Jamjar12 · 24/05/2016 20:56

Congratulations need! We're the opposite Beedle, a ton of boys names we like but struggling for girls!

Almond, yeah I've managed (genuinely no idea how) to keep going to work. It's exam/coursework time and I'm head of subject so I've not really had any choice! Think it's been a good thing though as I tend to just wallow on weekends when I'm not busy! I was so pleased to tell friends so I could explain why I've been so antisocial all the time. I do my daily routine but then just crash on the sofa from about 7! You?

needanewjob · 24/05/2016 21:13

Thanks everyone. I'm so pleased we found out as I can call him a him now and he feels like a person. I'm sad to close the door on the girlyness but my relationship with my daughter was so special and unique and I would never have wanted to invite comparisons, not after losing her. This little boy gets to be his own person from day one plus he has an awesome big brother to play with!

tiredmumrighthere · 24/05/2016 22:13

Oh wow need congratulations Smile

Onthe- my nausea stopped last week and I can't begin to explain how happy that makes me! 10 weeks of it constant day in day out proper takes its toll! Only time I had it a bit was at the weekend being a passenger in a car, I'm fine if I'm driving it's weird!
Apart from that I'm feeling quite great Shock energys back, not having to go bed at like 7pm anymore.

Fedupithink · 25/05/2016 02:11

Wow, huge congratulations Need!!

I'm off on holiday for 10 days later this morning, I'm already looking forward to catching up on this thread on my return!

Hope everyone who isn't already starts feeling better and we all have an uneventful week or so.

Beelzebubble · 25/05/2016 07:46

Smells, you poor thing :( My brother lives in London and that tunnel closure yesterday caused him to have to walk home!

Need, im sooooooo delighted for you

BeedlesPineNeedles · 25/05/2016 17:28

My quest for some underbump jeans continues, I ordered a couple of pairs that arrived today and neither fit. I've got a nice pair of overbump jeans but I think they maybe a bit warm over the summer. I've got another pair coming from asos so hopefully they are a bit better. The good news is that the rest of my online order was very nice and fitted quite well.

tiredmumrighthere · 25/05/2016 18:35

Anyone else experienced a sharp pain on the right side, feels like a pulsating kind of pain?
Been annoying mentor the last hr it's weird Confused

tiredmumrighthere · 25/05/2016 18:35

Me for*

onthemetro · 25/05/2016 19:54

tired yep, I've been having that today as well, it's so weird

Spottyladybird · 25/05/2016 20:17

So so tired. When can I start blooming?

AlbusPercival · 25/05/2016 20:19

Tired - me too!

tiredmumrighthere · 25/05/2016 20:26

Onthe and albus- do you know what it is? I literally just had to freeze until it passed earlier, so strange x

CakeAndChocolate · 25/05/2016 20:29

I had that earlier tired only lasted about 15mins but was quite painful.

I'm also totally and utterly exhausted today. Had a 1.5 hour nap earlier and still have no energy. Need to pack tonight for a week away, we're leaving tomorrow and all I've done so far is write a list!

onthemetro · 25/05/2016 21:48

I'm not sure, I wondered if it was things stretching? Something is going on in there anyway 😄

coppergrey · 25/05/2016 22:06

I'm having all sorts of weird twinges! Nothing is making me anxious though, so I guess it's just doing what it's supposed to in there!

Hope you're all ok today. I had a bit of a downer today on a call with my client... I knew I hadn't been giving 100% and she really pulled me up on it. Didn't really want to use my pregnancy as an excuse so just sucked it up and apologised profusely! I feel really terrible for letting her down. Anyone else had a situation like this at work?

On the other hand, we've shared our news online today and the outpouring of love has been awesome!

smellsofelderberries · 25/05/2016 22:08

My niggles have stopped but had a few jabs earlier on (just after supper) so assume it's just things stretching.

Beedles I bought some under bump jeans from New Look the other day. They're very generous sizing (I fit into a 10!) and even if they don't last very long, they were only £17 or £18. I think they are technically jeggings, they're bloody comfortable though.

Beelze I must live near your brother then! Thats what he problem was for us too.

Ended up bailing on work today as felt quite sick last night. Glad I did as had a bit of a dicky tummy when I got up this morning with lots of mild digestion cramps. My Asos order turned up today and I really like 2 of the dresses but DH said he only liked on and that they other freaked him out a bit Hmm so they're going back except the nice one. Look quite pregnant in it too! totally nothing to do with the huge meal I'd just eaten Grin

smellsofelderberries · 25/05/2016 22:11

This is the one I liked and freaked DH out as he said it looked like something someone in a gothic horror would wear Sad (to be fair, I get what he means when it's on me, can't really see it on the model). Not sure the neck line suits me but really liked it, feels very feminine.

Was just looking at this today, smells! I've got two weddings this summer and think I might buy it for one. What's the fabric like? I find ASOS so hit and miss, quality-wise.
