I'm suffering with headaches again. Thought hormones were supposed to calm down by week 10. Got meetings all afternoon and then an event from 6-8 and entering panic mode as to how I'll be before I've even started. Where has all this anxiety come from? :-(

Sorry to those suffering and errrm that sounds dreadful I really feel for you. I feel sick most of the time but can eat a bit and am not being sick, but that's enough to floor me so you have my sympathies.

Those having Harmony tests, did you book those privately? If so how much did they cost and at what stage did you have them? It's a long hard slog to my scan and after my mc I'm desperate to know if all's ok. And you find out the sex too? Amazing!

I'm already 11 weeks though is it too late? xx

Oh crap, here comes the sickness.

The girls are at school/child minder, and I am working at home with loads to do. All I can do is sit quietly on the couch trying not to vom.

Luckily DH is away for four days from Saturday, so I'll be flying solo with a 2 and a 4 year old ARGH

And now it's gone again and I feel fine!

ermmm I feel for you and any others in the sickness boat! The illness has really hit me hard this week and it's been a bit of a shock - any symptoms i've had until now have been very mild. I've been bed-bound since Monday with awful nausea (not actually vomited but that's not unusual for me) and really painful cramping (no blood so i'm assuming it's ok and just things stretching out??). I've struggled to even sit up as it makes me feel more sick. I've lost all the weight I gained as I feel far too awful to eat much. Hopefully it'll ease off soon as I don't want to have to be signed off work (particularly as it takes 3 weeks to get a GP appt here!).

I had a really good booking in appointment on Saturday and i've been assigned to a caseload midwifery team which sounds amazing (i'm with Kings in London). I still have my scan to come - 9th June.

Hi everyone, I've been struggling with nausea too this week, only ways to fix it I've found so far are, peppermint imprealls, ginger biscuits, water, Ritz crackers or sleep

So I was a bit silly and decided to weigh myself this morning...now scared! I started off at 7 stone pre pregnancy and this morning I was 7st8. I've always been so slim and never put on that much weight so quickly! I know I was underweight to start with and told I would need to gain more weight than average but I feel it's just spiralling out of control. I know it's still very light so nothing to worry about but it's more the rate! I'm 12 weeks. How much has everyone else gained by this point?

babydreaming I had gained 3ish kilos (am 10 weeks) before getting sick. I'm a normal BMI.

I was freaking out too but my midwife assured me it was fine.

Ok, maybe not "freaking out" but certainly a bit concerned about how big my weight gain will be!

So sorry for everyone feeling so sick. I have absolutely zero symptoms, no nausea, no nothing and spend my time worrying about that. Perhaps I should be grateful.

Have finally spoken to a midwife and apparently someone will call me to arrange an appointment. Is also caseload midwifery which I think I need this time. I'm worried antenatal depression might be coming in. So low the past week. Even a good scan didn't feel good.

Also we're having our bathroom done and going to stay with SIL who will be right in the middle of her first IVF cycle which according to MIL she's been told is unlikely to work due to low AMH. We haven't told family about the baby at all and dont plan to tell the rest of the family until 28 weeks or so but will tell SIL and BIL as we're in the same house. Just not sure how to break the news most sensitively. Would via email be better to let them deal with it without any pressure to deal with us or is it politer to call? Any ideas would be welcomed.

I have cravings for salt and vinegar chip sticks too and bananas, so had both for breakfast, along with plenty of ginger biscuits again!!

babydreaming I've put on 2-3kg already (still a healthy bmi). As you're so light, you will need the extra weight for baby, so try not to worry. My sister was very light at the start of her second pregnancy and even with a bit of weight gain she still was really slim.

hiding I think given your history, SIL will understand and be happy for you. Can to see your gp about the depression. I had pnd last time and it's so important to get early treatment.

I'm going to take to my midwife about anxiety and see if I can get a referral. My mind is filled with negative thoughts. The latest is panic because my uterus was too tilted for the dating and NT scan, which wasn't an issue with dd, so now I'm convinced something is wrong!

Barking congrats on being team pink. I'm so pleased for you that this pregnancy is going smoothly after such a long, hard road to get to this point.

Hiding I think tell them in person. I had a friend who had an ectopic and then a MC last year and had similar issues, but I feel that talking to her in person about me being pregnant and acknowledging that it might bring up difficult emotions for her helped. I'm sure after everything you've been through they will be pleased for you, but I understand that you want to bring it up sensitively.

Now that we've passed the 13 week mark (and my stomach muscles are failing me and people are guessing) we decided to make a Facebook announcement the other night (or rather we got DD to do it) using the following picture. It's nice to be able to talk openly about it now.

I'm too scared to post anything about my pregnancy on Facebook in fear of something going wrong later down the line. I know I'm being so negative but when you've battled infertility at a young age (started TTC at 26 and now 28!) I can't help but keep it to myself until safe delivery of baby :/

Thanks for the list! I forgot to mention but my due date has gradually drifted from 12th Dec to 6th Dec on the dating scan! Baby's a quick grower.

I've gone up about 8lbs so far, about 11 weeks at the moment, joy! Meh I lost it all last time and will loose it again, it took 18months mind you

Had my 12 week scan this morning and everything is looking good. EDD is now 8th December.

Southdowns my uterus is inverted as well (which I don't remember being the case with did) but the midwife didn't seem too bothered about it. She had to press really hard though to see anything and it was touch and go whether she'd get any measurements. Pretty sore now!
