Thread #6 - TTC#1 Grads - Sun roasted pregnant ladies

Summers here and bumps are busy growing. Scans photos are coming thick and fast and team pink and blue are rampining up their numbers.

We have new grads furiously POAS, second trimesters eager for their bumps and veterans about to embark on trimester 3 and contemplating baby size with mild terror apprehension.

The weathers to hot for comfort and our pregnancy aches, pains and symptoms are getting on our tits literally in some cases !!

Lisa, I've felt bonded with baby over the last week or two as my bump seems to have become huge in the last fortnight and there is no mistaking now that I'm pregnant! Although in the space of an hour last night I had someone tell me I was huge and someone tell me they couldn't even tell I was pregnant

I've never had a UTI before but over the past two days I've needed to wee constantly and today I am baking hot. I know being hotter is pregnant related generally, but it has come on suddenly. Anyone know if it is it also a sign of a UTI? No other symptoms.

Random bra related question - is everyone still wearing underwired bras? I am and they have been fine; but I've bought underwired bikinis for holiday when I'll be 30 weeks and suddenly had a panic whether that was bad or not! I just can't find any non-wired ones to contain my boobs

Pink Friday feeling had arrived in our office and we have .

I'm still wearing my normal underworld bras. Have resigned some and starting to pop out of those that are left but have not had any issues with the underwrites so far.

pink I have underwired for day time but I have had to buy sleeping bras as they're so painful if I go without my bra on a night. I look at maternity bras and jus think 'you're not holding anything in there.'

I'm still in a pissy mood, but not as pissy. Having lunch with my 2 lovely cousins after work one has an almost 4 month old boy and the other is pregnant and due in august with a girl.

OH has agreed to do overtime all weekend and I'm a bit annoyed. We very rarely get to spend weekends together so it annoys me when he asks if it's okay to go in to work, but this time he offered it up which means he wasn't at home today when he should have been, which means that our pram has been delivered to the neghbours we don't get on with. So that's going to be fun getting it back.

starky hope scan goes/went well. I need something to cheer me up!

Happy Friday all just checking in - miley yes I've been getting foot cramps!!! Scared DH the other night with me going: "Ow ow ow!!!" He thought there was something wrong with the bub but no it's just my darned foot and it keeps happening

I'm 17+5 and bump feels like it's growing every day. Loving the proper bump look but not loving the stretching pains that seem to have ramped up. Definitely no longer managing into my fitted clothes due to expanding waist and ballooning boobs! I think I'll be online for some maternity wear this weekend if this bump keeps going at the same rate I'll have nothing to wear to work on Monday!

Sorry to all those feeling tired and crappy. I'm working from home today but tbh haven't done much except lay on the couch reading the same emails repeatedly and trying not to fall asleep.

Pink I'm onto sports bras now, not because of the underwire thing but because I struggle to twist to do up the clips and Potato hates anything right which all of my normal bras are.

I had to stop wearing all my wired bras almost immediately! Non wired for weeks now in saying that though I have gone from a 36B/C to a 38 C/D reasonably quickly so makes sense

Thanks for all the cake and flowers, feeling much better today. Hips allowing me to be more mobile, go have given me an extra prescription for heartburn and my swelling is only just kicking in. I can also still see and DH is on his way so I get a big cuddle for the first time in a week.

Shelb I feel the swelling pain. I have tree trunk legs, it's delightful.

Stark that's such a lovely scan, look at baby's little hand! So pleased for you, hopefully it all feels real now.

May give your midwife or EPU a call, if it's brown spotting I wouldn't panic too much just yet as some bleeding/spotting is very common.

Oh sorry may didn't see you post - yes try not to worry, most of us on here have had spotting. If it's red and / or with cramps, Deffo get see someone.

Shelb, my feet have started to swell too. I'm not impressed

I'm going to sick with underwired bras then, they are comfy so far so no reason not to I suppose. I've gone up a back size and two cup sizes so far

I've booked a hospital tour today, not till June but it makes it feel even more real somehow!

Thanks ladies. I think it's stopped now; wasn't more than a few drops really and old, brown blood. I'm gently cramping all over the shop, but not as worried now. And almost halfway home!
