Summers here and bumps are busy growing. Scans photos are coming thick and fast and team pink and blue are rampining up their numbers.

We have new grads furiously POAS, second trimesters eager for their bumps and veterans about to embark on trimester 3 and contemplating baby size with mild terror apprehension.

The weathers to hot for comfort and our pregnancy aches, pains and symptoms are getting on our tits literally in some cases !!

All are welcome to TTC#1 grads thread #6

Thanks New and Leonie Smile

I could have slept until 7 instead of my usual 6 today as off for scan but never mind! I find it irrationally annoying that DH keeps sleeping as well.

Feefeefs · 19/05/2016 07:28

Good luck Elle

Planeteer · 19/05/2016 07:47

Good luck Elle.

Congrats on healthy butter bean Miley, and well done for managing to stay team Vanilla.

Potato, gaaaah to HA. At least you've managed to get a response from them, even if it was a slightly rage inducing one. Will you have to deal with them throughout the sale process?

Feeling a bit wobbly today. Good news: accepted offer on our flat so we can go house hunting on Sat. Less good news: weird pain from yesterday hasn't gone and I've woken up today with a tiny bit of brown spotting. We dtd on Mon for the first time in ages, so am hoping it's a knock on from that and nothing to worry about, but it's making my anxiety flare up, and can tell today at work is going to be spent avoiding yelling at people or bursting into tears. Bleh!

Pinklily1 · 19/05/2016 08:27

Good luck today Elle!

I think a bit of spotting after DTD is fairly common Planet, but if you are worried you could always give your midwife a call just to see what she says?

Pinklily1 · 19/05/2016 08:38

Also, which count the kicks app are you using if you are feeling movement? Any recommendations?

PotatosMum · 19/05/2016 08:39

Bunch thanks for the kick counting instruction Grin

Elle good luck with the scan Smile

Planet get yourself straight to EPU, I'm sure you're right and the spotting is nothing but it doesn't hurt anyone to check.

yup, the housing association need to be involved in the whole sale Sad
Yay! For accepting the offer and going house hunting.

I am so tired I don't know what to do with myself today. No idea why but I'm just exhausted!
OH and I have agreed I should do my hospital bag ready this weekend. As much as we hope I've got 14 weeks left we want to be prepared for the worse.

Thanks for the good luck messages Smile I will update you all later. Had a little cry on the way here, can't wait til it's over!

Potato hope you don't mind me asking but do you think you might have to deliver early because of the fibroid? I will try and find out how big mine is today. Hope you get your mortgage offer soon, the waiting is awful. Btw I am the weirdo who has tried to follow you on IG Wink

Planet that's great news about the offer, hopefully you will find something quickly.

Laurenrl · 19/05/2016 08:52

Still in bed feeling very sorry for myself. Had a huge bit of yellow tinged (but clear) jelly come out as I wiped yesterday (egg yolk sized, no blood) pelvis pains still there and still not feeling movement the same so wanted to see a midwife. Apparently I can't unless gp refers me so I'm off to the gp at 10.30 to start the inevitable run around London as I'm referred around until someone can help!

Planeteer · 19/05/2016 09:04

Good luck Lauren , hope you don't have to run too much of a gauntlet and can be seen quickly. At least you won't be contending with evil rush hour trains.

PotatosMum · 19/05/2016 09:50

Elle I was warned that because of the size of my fibroid (12cm) I may need to deliver a little early, also if the degeneration kicks off again in 3rd trimester it can kick start labour. On top of that the women of my family have a history of early delivery and my midwife/consultant are worried about my heart rate and the risk of pre-eclampsia.
I'm hoping that I don't deliver early but I'm planning for the worse and hoping for the best.

Lauren that sucks! I hopefully the Dr will either help or refer you.

Hi everyone,

Sorry, I’ve been away on a training course for the last couple of days. Have tried to keep up but didn’t have much free time, so reading through everything this morning.

Bunch – I’m so sorry you’re in so much pain from your hips. Can they give you something stronger for it?

Potato – the housing association sound really incompetent. I guess it’s just not in their interest whether the flat gets sold or not, so they’re not prioritising any of the work for it. What a pain, I’m sorry. Glad that you’re ok health-wise and they’re monitoring the fibroid regularly and you’re getting some rest.

Soda – how was the refresher course? Did you feel like it all came back to you quite easily, or do you think you’ll need more to properly feel comfortable when driving?

Miley – congrats on the scan! So glad everything is fine and he/she is all healthy and happy! Great news! Mine’s on Saturday, and I’m terrified…

Feefs - sorry you’re in pain, too. Hope it can be diagnosed at something, because at least you’ll be able to take something proper for it and get it sorted (if that makes sense).

Elle - sorry about the insomnia. I’ve had some of that recently and it’s really frustrating. I don’t understand how you can be tired but at the same unable to sleep. Frustrating! Fingers crossed for the 12-week scan!

Planet - congrats on the flat offer! House hunting is both fun and stressful, so part of me is envious, and part of me sympathetic!

For anyone following me on Instagram, you’re probably wondering who I am (my name bares no relation to my nickname here). I’m the one with the two cats, one black and one ginger. Think my profile pic is a photo of them together.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

ElleSarcasmo · 19/05/2016 10:07

Phew! Everything looks ok. I might have had a little cry. Baby was mostly asleep but did see him/her jumping after I went for a wee.

Potato mine is 7cm and at the top of my uterus, not blocking the exit. Hopefully it will behave.

Lauren hope you can get seen quickly Flowers

Laurenrl · 19/05/2016 10:10

Congratulations elle! Amazing news

ElleSarcasmo · 19/05/2016 10:11

Thanks Lauren. Have you made it to the gp yet?

ElleSarcasmo · 19/05/2016 10:12

Hi Lisa I will try to find you on IG!

Laurenrl · 19/05/2016 11:06

I'm at the doctors now, they checked the heart rate and it the same as it's ever been (140) he thinks I have a vitamin b and d deficiency as I'm really pale and that would explain why my muscles aren't taking the extra strain too well- discharge sounds normal (apparently!!!) but they're testing for thrush just in case. they will test for that and then refer me for physio, in the meantime I should try and find a yoga class to build up my back, side and stomach muscles that are struggling.

Relieved to hear her heartbeat after her being a pain and stopping kicking!!

Mileymoocow · 19/05/2016 11:07

elle congratulations on the lovely scan! Grin I had a few tears at mine yesterday. It was more the look of complete elation on OHs face and the relief when I realised baby was still doing well as the screen wasn't facing me but he could see everything.

Hope everyone has a good day. I have been cramming fresh fruit and prune juice into me, so hopefully I will have a poo soon and it'll put a smile on my miserable face!

We definitely need a list of IG names and which of us they correspond with!

Hope all is okay lauren and you're see quickly

Mileymoocow · 19/05/2016 11:08

Oops just seen your update lauren! Good news Grin

BunchOfBobs · 19/05/2016 11:54

Glad to hear the good news Lauren. Lovely scan Elle.

PotatosMum · 19/05/2016 12:17

Elle lovely scan Grin

7cm is big but not too bad. I recommend making sure you have a store of ice packs, cocodamol and paracetamol at home just in case you get the dreaded red degeneration. You probably have a fairly low risk but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Lauren glad the Dr was able to reassure you and that they're doing what they can to help.

Just heard from the mortgage company. They've asked for lots of supporting documents and they have a few questions that might cause problems. We won't know whether we've got the mortgage now until next Wednesday Sad

I wish today was over. I'm so tired I just can't function. WFH tomorrow though so will be able to take naps. Only 5 weeks to go.

Morning ladies,
Currently on the beach getting a nice pinky/brown colour on my bumpGrin

Elle and miley that's amazing about your scans, I have mine on 1st June trying to keep my mind of it but I think I'll be a nervous wreck just before it!
Lauren good news that the Dr has said everything is ok, yoga and Pilates are really good if you can find a class nearby.

Will try to have a proper catch up later on. Having a lovely holiday so far but feel a bit uncomfortable in my preggo body. I'm used to feeling pretty slim and toned on holiday and I now feel just generally big. My bump is coming along but still doesn't look like a 'proper' bump so just feel a bit blah..trying not to think about it and trying to get DH to get good angles on photos. He'll be a pro photographer after this holiday!

Planeteer · 19/05/2016 14:46

V quick update, rang mw who said to pop into MAU. Found heartbeat (eventually), but urine test showed blood so they are sending off for more tests to see whether I need antibiotics. Will catch up properly later x

Canters15 · 19/05/2016 15:44

Lovely scans miley and Elle!! Fab.

Planteer, hope all is OK.

I'm feeling absolutely exhausted and a bit down in the dumps. No reason, though I've had quite a stressful week at work. My best friends are coming to stay tomorrow and I feel awful because I don't have the energy to do anything and just want to sleep. Grrr. Pregnancy woes.

LisaTheGreek · 19/05/2016 15:56

Hope everything is ok, Planet. Fingers crossed.

Mileymoocow · 19/05/2016 17:03

canters cone and take a seat next to me on the huffy couch. I have ice cream and chocolate.

Glad you're having a lovely time indi! Grin

Oh planet! Great that baby is going strong but you have my sympathy if it's a UTI SadFlowers
