nehagarg · 18/05/2016 22:33

Yaaay!! Congratulations -Madrigal. I've been waitig for news fron you. She's gorgeous!

Still in hospital but brig discharged tomorrow after being taught how to cup feed since we really dont want to give baby a bottle while his tongue tie is sorted out. I'd never get him back on the breast. Luckily the senior most breastfeeding consultant here is absolutely brilliant and very professional and she sorted it all out for us.

Huge congratulations madrigal She is beautiful!! Looking forward to hearing her name.

neha I hope you all settle in well back at home tomorrow!

I mentioned it on the Facebook group but I had the bloody show last night, no doubt about it, so keeping everything crossed that things get moving here soon. Anyone remember how long it was before they went into labour after the show with previous babies?

clarish84 · 18/05/2016 23:02

AmIseeingRight · 19/05/2016 05:18

Congratulations madrigal she's beautiful. I wonder how tatted & booked are doing? Facebook people any news of the first 2 babies.

Suffering from insomnia as the day gets closer & I've started getting mild period pains but since I don't usually get very strong ones I guess it's a start.

With every new baby on this thread I'm getting more excited to meet mine. Finally feeling as ready as I will ever be Smile.

Star here is to all our June babies Star

cheshirem2b · 19/05/2016 06:28

madrigal she is beautiful! Congratulations!

laughingGnomette · 19/05/2016 06:58

Massive congratulations madrigal!! She is a beauty. How are you feeling? Recovering well I hope.

AmI - they are both doing really well. Tatted's very prem little boy is wearing clothes and his eyes are open and breathing much better. Booked's little girl went home over the weekend which is just fantastic!

ILovePies · 19/05/2016 06:59

Congratulations madrigal she is beautiful and a lovely weight!!

nehagarg sorry to hear about bubbas tongue tie, so pleased to hear you're getting good support! Can sometimes be very hard to get!! I hope you manage to get home today. How's your wound?

grubby don't think it'll be me unfortunately! Contractions have completely died off! :( a lady on a vbac group I'm on said it's common for vbac ladies to experience them as your body is doing test runs to test the viability of the scar... not sure how true that is!
I have a spa day on Saturday that I was brought for my baby shower so hoping being relaxed will get something going!

emma how exciting, have you had any niggling pains since?

Hope all scans go well for everyone who has them. We have our final one on Tuesday. .. will decide after that if I'll be induced at 39.

chilli good luck for tomorrow! These june babies are coming in thick & fast now!

chillipopcorn1 · 19/05/2016 07:04

Madrigal she is just precious! Congratulations!
Thanks Pies I am currently just doing all the admissions procedures at the hospital. Eek! Supposed to stay overnight tonight but as we are only five mins down the road we are going to break free and just come back very early.
Neha glad to hear you've got the experts in for the tongue tie so that can be sorted.
Fingers crossed for all the others. So exciting that they are all coming!

JellyBaby26 · 19/05/2016 07:14

Exciting emma how you feeling?

bikingintherain · 19/05/2016 09:17

In pleased to hear that the the other two babies are doing well. And congratulations madrigal, I hope things going well.

Good luck with things chilli, I hope it all goes smoothly.

emma, my mucus plug for DS came about 3-4 days I think. And I don't really remember it ever coming out with DD. But hopefully for you it won't be too long now.

I'm doing a little better than last night but still in a lot of pain. Heated wheat bags ( meant for labour!) and paracetamol have taken an edge off the pain although I can't walk still. I'm hoping 24 hours bed rest will sort it out more significantly. So much for an efficient last week of work!

GrubbyWindows · 19/05/2016 10:07

Ouf biking poor you!! That just sounds grim! I just tried to run for a bus and stopped sharpish with your cautionary tale in mind. Late pregnancy is so cumbersome!!

I'm ready to not be pregnant any more- but not quite ready for the baby to turn up either.
37 weeks tomorrow, so I'd better get my head round it! Last day of work today, which helps, and a big internet shop coming tomorrow with all the bits and pieces I still need for my birth bag (hoping for a home birth but you never know).

Oooh chilli good luck!!

Hold tight emma! Hopefully things are kicking off! Someone just told me that mucus plugs can regenerate and you can end up with another show days later?!?! That was news to me! Fingers crossed yours is for real.

Commiserations pies hopefully they weren't wasted contractions and have helped get you all lined up for that VBAC.

TomboyGirl · 19/05/2016 10:09

Congratulations Neha and Madrigal Smile! Two beautiful little munchkins. All the best as you navigate through the early days, xx

emma85x · 19/05/2016 10:51

Just back from mw appointment and she said that the bloody show doesn't mean anything at all. Grrr!!!!

bikingintherain · 19/05/2016 11:15

emma, I agree this last stage if pregnancy is so frustrating. I don't think means losing the plug is irrelevant, if nothing else it shows that you're body is starting to prepare itself for labour.

Did you ask for a sweep or anything?

cautiousoptimist1 · 19/05/2016 11:36

Congratulations madrigal, what a beauty she is!

iamdivergent · 19/05/2016 14:21

Just had the mw on the phone. She's coming out to see me on Saturday to discuss the home birth. I agreed it all and then text DH as we have nothing in the calendar on Saturday - he comes back to say he's helping a friend to move and it's probably an all day thing Hmm nice of him to let me know! We haven't had a 'free' weekend in I don't know how long, he's always away doing something and as I can't drive we are kind of house bound. So frustrating.
