Good news emma! Although I can relate to not having to wait anymore. At least you will get chance to have some proper rest before the baby comes.

I'm absolutely exhausted at the moment. We've just had a bank holiday and I have had 2 naps each day of it. And not insignificant ones either, at least one each day is 2 hours.

I'm so desperate to finish work now, I'll be 38 weeks next week and Friday feels like a long way away, I just haven't got the energy to do it. Bring on maternity leave and more naps!

GrubbyWindows · 17/05/2016 08:38

emma I'm so glad it's all ok!!
And biking that is impressive napping! Gold medal for napping prowess! I was going to work to 38 weeks but chickened out. Just two more days and I'm on nap duty too yay!

mrsmugoo · 17/05/2016 09:21

I'm classing today as my first real day of mat leave as my son has been packed off to nursery for the day leaving me with peace and quiet until 6pm!

Today's task is pack the hospital bag!

emma85x · 17/05/2016 09:47

mugoo definitely pack ear plugs and pillows! The ward I was on was noisy throughout the night and the pillows were flat as pancakes!!

laughingGnomette · 17/05/2016 09:55

I agree with those emma!!

Been awake since 2:50am, it's going to be a loooooong day in the office!

mrsmugoo · 17/05/2016 10:11

Emma haha - I had at best, about an hour's shut eye each of the two nights I was in after DS due to him wailing and feeding all night.

I took an eye mask and it didn't even get considered!

ILovePies · 17/05/2016 11:18

inside i would be cross too, but glad all seems well.

emma so glad all is ok!
Still getting very irregular contractions, thinking it may be slow labour :( bump has really dropped today though.
Thinking of all of you working still. I'm shattered looking after my monkies, couldn't imagine working on top of that!

ILovePies · 17/05/2016 11:19

nehagarg thinking of you & hope all is well Flowers

strawberrypenguin · 17/05/2016 12:11

Glad everything is ok emma

Looks like I'm going to have a May baby! Induction booked for next Tuesday as long as a scan on Monday shows he's still head down!

Clarish lovely buggy! So exciting getting everything set up!

clarish84 · 17/05/2016 14:30

Grey seems to be really popular at the moment I'm so happy with it . It's funny my dh gets a bit annoyed when he sees other people with it makes me giggle

mrsmugoo · 17/05/2016 14:35

Ooh a silver cross clarish, lovely!

cautiousoptimist1 · 17/05/2016 15:16

We have the pioneer but didn't see the grey colour pack anywhere or I think we'd have gone for it too.

strawberrypenguin · 17/05/2016 15:17

I think so ilove got some snacks to put in hospital bag today and I think I'm now all packed - baby has bag, I have bag, DH doesn't want one and an overnight bag is packed for DS to stay with grandparents for a few days. We're as ready as we can be!
How are your contractions now?

Lovely pram clarish

Eastend2015 · 17/05/2016 15:17

Excited to see baby pics, I hope nehagarg is ok! I'm sure a few of us will be waiting into July as well though...

Eastend2015 · 17/05/2016 15:18

P.s lovely pram Clarish!

nehagarg · 17/05/2016 15:55

Phew! Glad all is well emma.

I'd definitely complain inside. She could do someone some serious damage!

June baby (number 3 now is it?) is here. Born yesterday at 38 weeks and a very healthy 6.9 lbs - Rishi Taj Gupta. Needless to say, we are chuffed to bits. Learning the ropes of breastfeeding now. Already able to hobble around so quite happy about that. Will be able to go home tomorrow for the most part. Smile
