I know there's already a thread up for early Jan babies but couldn't see one for the rest of Jan (probably as I'm jumping the gun a bit here!).

This is my first proper pregnancy and I'm a planner by nature so I need some kind of place to talk about this so I don't drive my DP mad!

This is baby number one
EDD 6th Jan.

I'm just knackered. I've been spotting for the last couple of days which is doing bad things to my anxiety but had a blood hcg test yesterday which came back at 300 which is ok for 4+1

And yes, bunny 22nd Jan for me too

cupcake he's 9mibth old so in going to have my hands full

Anyone know how long pee tests take at the doc?? Put mine in on Monday and want the results! (Even though I know it's positive I'm worried it will come back negavite!)

You're more than welcome cupcake, we are a similar age too! With my first I found a group like this to be indispensable, I wouldn't be the parent I am today without them.

Evans mine took two working days both times! There wasn't enough pregnancy hormone to say I was and to much to say I wasn't thankfully I did about her test a week later and it came back positive

Hi everyone! Can I join? Just found this board and I'm so excited to find others in the same boat :) I haven't been to the doc yet but my DD looks like Jan 20th eek! This is my first.

Took a digi this morning and said 2-3 weeks. Been feeling really lightheaded today and thought I was going to faint this morning plus been having cramps which scares me as I had a very early MC 3 years ago. I'm scared about being ill at work and having to get the tube feeling ill :/ I also don't get much sick pay.

It's also not helping that my bf has freaked out even though he wants to have kids and he is 42. So looking for a bit of female support right now :)

Time for me to join. This will be our second. We have a 3 yr old ds.

Scan went well this morning! We saw a heartbeat :). I'm so relieved! They put my dates back 4 days so now I'm 6+4 instead of 7+1 , I don't quite agree with them but they said it would probably change again at the 12 week scan as it's not as accurate yet, so I'm expecting it to go forwards a bit. New due date for now is 7th Jan.
My lovely consultant said they won't let me go past 37 weeks! So this Jan baby will def be a Dec baby!

Had my first scan today as well. Dated at 6+1, so due on January 10!! Still doesn't seem real even though we have a picture to confirm it now!!

Oh Bozley and Zyla that must have been so lovely and such a relief to see your little beans! I'm hoping to go for scan nxt wk when I'll be between 7 and 8 wks.

I'm in a bit of a weird place today. We currently have a 2 and a bit year old and at times is driving me crackers - my patience has definitely vanished since being pregnant!! This then makes me think how will I cope? What if I can't do the night feeds and be seeing to the pair of them without losing my rag but then equally am fretting that I will miscarry or that I'll have a scan and there's nothing there?! I think I need someone to come and give me a slap and tell me to get a grip!

Hi everyone! Can I join? I'm due Jan 12th but was holding off as I've had painful cramps and bleeding but an early scan this afternoon showed a healthy (tiny) baby! So now I'm officially excited! (And scared!)
Can I join the fb group too? I can't remember who set that up!

Can I ask a stupid question? I am so new to this website and all the terms and abreviations! But what does it mean when you say you're 5+1 or 4+2 etc?? I think my brain have given up already. Does it mean how many weeks since conception + the start of your last period??

Lovely to hear of some good scans today - lovely news! I'll have one again around 8 weeks, it will be just before we go away on holiday so hopefully will out my mind at rest a bit.

It sounds like there are a few of us who are going to have small age gaps! I know people are going to get a shock when I eventually tell them I'm pregnant again hahahaha

Congrats all! Can I join? I found out last weekend so am guessing I'm 5+1 from the date of my last period, so due 17 Jan. It really doesn't seem real as it hasn't yet sunk in! Am popping to the Drs tomorrow so I can get the ball rolling. We were super lucky as we had only been 'officially' trying for the last month. I checked my ovulation dates and must have got them spot on! Am now super paranoid about everything I'm eating and doing!

Lots of new BFPs and scans today, congratulations everyone!

I should also have added that this will be my first so nerves are really kicking in! Am so bloated I feel 5 months gone already and am worried work will guess pretty quickly as I am usually relatively slim. Certain smells are already making me feel a bit nauseous, but my main symptom is exhaustion! I literally cannot wait to crawl into bed about 3pm.

27 years old, 1st baby.
I had very irregular periods ( 2 in the past year!) but managed to conceive in the first month of trying!

Chuffed to bits!

Figuring it out… as first day of last period wont work… But my guess is I'll be due around the 14th of Jan.

mica yes, from last period. Well, if your cycles are 28 days and you ovulate on day 14. If not and you know when you ovulated, take that date and add 2 weeks onto it. so basically, when you ovulate you are already classed as 2 weeks pregnant!

Aw what a lovely day, loads of new people and a couple of scans!!

Can I ask 2+ timers a bit of a daft question? Can you feel the top of your uterus yet? I'm only 5+1 but I can, and I could when I took the test (part of the reason I did) and that was nearly a week ago. Just seems awful early!

This is turning into a really big bus!!!

So ovia and my own calculations from last period put me at 5+4. However I think I ovulate late (was the case last pregnancy) and a clear blue digital confirmed that to me this morning- came up as 2-3. So I would like to test again in the hope to get 3+. Don't want to waste a test either though!!! I'll maybe give it 3 days (half a week?) and see if it moves to 3+.

I'm having a follow up blood test tomorrow so fingers crossed for progression. Because of my history I actually have a specialist antenatal appointment on Monday when I'll be hopefully 5 wks if it's ok

Evans I'm not sure what the top of my uterus feels like you're supposed to show earlier 2nd time round aren't you though so would make sense.
