Wow! Thread number three.

Can't stop shaking thinking about scan tomorrow. Don't know what to do with myself.

I feel for you Albus what time is it tomorrow? Can you have a warm drink and watch a film this evening? Try and keep your mind off things.

Need, I think you can only PM using the web version of MN. Fuzzy is this right? Of course I've forgotten my password (Grrr) so have managed to lock myself out.

Albus, try not to worry and do think positive thoughts which is a lot easier said than done. Incidentally my fertility specialist told me that stress can't do any harm to babies which I found reassuring. Keep breathing slowly and deeply, listen to your heartbeat, have a bath, maybe go domestic and bake a cake to take your mind off things if you can stand it. It's not too long until tomorrow. It's 5am here and I'm wide awake having had an awful dream. DH is also away with work so I'm enjoying doing a proper starfish.

My skin is horrific too. Really making me sad as I feel so minging. Dh really not happy about me dying hair either and I have 4 months regrowth to deal with. I am an unsexy mess right now!

Mine's tomorrow too Albus and I'm terrified. With DD I had my 12w scan at 9am but tomorrow's isn't till 2 and I'm just not sure how I'll get through a while morning at work

Albus my mum would prescribe hot sweet tea and some telly or radio. Do you have people around to look after you?

Also feeling not my most gorgeous so am trying to have smooth legs, nice nails etc. Skin is horrid, hair greasy and I look so pale but at least looking at nicely painted toenails in the shower perks me up.

11 weeks tomorrow and I'm so tired! Really hoping to start feeling better soon as I'm really struggling with work. I'm a teacher and feel shattered by 4 then have to come home, do toddler tea and bedtime then sit down to work.

fedup I'm not even halfway through tonight's school work - year 11 marking. No chance of me not keeping busy!!

Canters is your hair grey or dye grown out? Would it work if you changed the style?

I had to have an early scan this week as I had some bleeding at 6+6, thankfully everything looked OK. They said it might be from sex, DH said it's nature's way of telling him to stay away!

I'm having a pedicure tomorrow and I cannot WAIT. My hair is truly awful at the moment - I have a short, bleached bob that hasn't been touched since before Christmas. It usually needs 6-8 week maintenance but I was being lazy and then OF COURSE I got pregnant so now am waiting till after 12 weeks to get it sorted. And I think my bleaching days are over!

I can't wait for that stage of pregnancy where your hair is gorgeously thick, your skin glowing, you have bags of energy and generally feel amazing. When is that, again?!!

I don't think I can do this. I actually can't. Last time I had a us, on my breast, I was having flashbacks to mc and crying hysterically.

You can do it Albus is your DP with you? Hopefully you'll have tears of happiness very soon when you see your little baby wiggling away.

Oh Albus. Cannot imagine what you are going through. Virtual hand holding. You can do this.

Sending you lots of strong, positive thoughts Albus, I'm sure things will all be fine What time is your scan?

Albus, make sure you explain to the nurse at the beginning your worries and that you are very nervous. Just think how pleased and proud and confident you'll feel when you've overcome your fear and have done it!
